It's a case of this...  Is Nemesis supported?

 

We've had people claim Toys&Love works fine with Nemesis. I think they have FNIS running also.

We've had other people with this "forward in combat" not working with Nemesis too.

What's special about those animations is they require a locomotion feature that maybe only FNIS will do.

Yes I use FNIS too. Except the running thing, which could be considered minor, everything works fine.

Essentially most things are working and the things that Nemesis does not support, are not.

 

I don't know how to do it, but maybe FNIS could take care of Toys&Love's animations then. The alternate animations are the ones that matter. I don't know how you do it, but I've seen in people's logs, FNIS doing Toys things, and Nemesis not, yet active still. In your log you can see that for sure Nemesis has taken over for all.

 

In your log it would appear that FNIS is not running. Normally we would see success messages from FNIS. The only messages from FNIS are cases of it not working:

As an aside... I did not look hard, but I did not notice you having any animation packs (either Love or SLAL). If you have none, Toys&Love love scenes wont have much to use. This will help if you are new to Toys&Love... Toys&Love - Tips

 

You are also missing the Toys Bodyslide Package. You have the one for Toy Story, but not for the main mod.

The speed of the love scenes is already impressive. I have a few ideas for this:
- Positioning-Keys (because due to body size, heels, etc. it doesn't always fit)
- Positioning-Keys of the schlong (again, it doesn't always fit)
- Deactivated animations are apparently not saved? (Save/Load and many animation packages)
- Furniture support like in the Furniture-Framework would be great (possibly so that you can mark the furniture animations, so that they are played exclusively on existing furniture)
- Or also that you don't always have to be completely naked, and instead just show your tits when sucking your partner's cock or he plays only with your tits, etc.

  1. Positioning "height" hotkey already exists, as well as the option to adjust height on a perma-basis. I think its enough to have this. Simplification is part of the goal. Misalignment in animation scenes for more detail
  2. Positioning for schlong, you might find it taken care of at least in part by the above. So not sure if its needed

1. Not exactly. By that, I also mean positioning, such as forward and backward, not only in height. And often there must also be adjusted differently. Maybe it could help if the actors were scaled to the same size before starting. Because mostly it needs these adjustments if the actors are different sizes.

  1. We don't scale actors because that's very susceptible to CTD. Would love it if I could. I did try this, even knowing its known to CTD. Says so in creation kit documentation.
    • Since it IS mostly all about height, like you have said, we've tried the simplicity of only a hotkey for height, and a feature for perma-adjust so you dont even need to keep pressing a hotkey. We are watching feedback to see if more is needed. So if your feedback is that more is needed, I shall register that but I want to confirm first, that you've given the feature a fair shake, plus are not trying to run with things not recommended in here... Misalignment in animation scenes 
  2. I know :D. The Schlong is controlled by data from the SLAL pack. If the height is right, the Schlong will be right (or the animation author screwed up).
    • Same as above on if that's your final feedback, or if you need to try out the feature some more first

I found a wierd bug that armour displays in the toys and love as equiped even after the item disapears from your inventory. 

Steps to replicate:

1. item gets equiped from non player actions.

2. have the keys to unlock the toy.

3. put the equiped item in a chest.

4. check mcm and it still says equiped even though the item is no longer in player inventory.

 

Here is where it gets even wierder. You can get the exact same toy randomly equiped after sexlab scenes and even taking these off and dropping from inventory does not fix mcm.

In my case, its primarily happening with workshop and more specifically, the skirt and collar.

I would guess you are using the SkyUI feature "Store" to do this (or you have a another mod involved)... which is putting toys directly into the container while they are worn. Correct? If not the rest of what I say is not applicable and more detail is needed.

  • This is a known compatibility issue with SkyUI
    • That mod changes the behavior of events required to know that the toy was moved. And by changed, I mean, a mod gets no event to use
    • It's been on my list for a while to try and find a way. Maybe I will eventually, but in the meantime, don't use "store"
  • If you remove the toy first, then put it in the container, there's of course no issue

  • Yes because Sexlab sometimes strips toys. So Toys&Love lets it, instead of trying to wrestle with it, then it uses the info you see in the MCM to re-equip
  • If that info broken via SkyUI "store" this can be expected
  • If you use the MCM - Debug tab - Player Reset, in some cases, it will fix the register. Also loading a save does the same. The "store" from SkyUI breaks more than that feature can fix, but should work if you reequip or after the Sexlab example

We already have this.

 

Example1:  Toys-Harlot Nipple Ts (Insignia Toy Box that comes with Toys)

  • When your rousing is too low for them to be "melted' they have the Proposition Love Effect. NPCs will ask for loving using dialogue.
  • When your rousing is high and so they have now transformed to melted, they have both the Uncontrollable and the Uncontrollable Orgy Love Effects. This means random chance of NPCs jumping you, as well has NPCs doing some scenes without you. Won't happen in combat, but will happen if you sneak in and the chance goes off.
  • MCM has chance sliders for each of these 3 Love Effects

Example2: Sanguine's Heated Nip Clamps - uncontrollable orgies when roused  (Sanguine's Toy Box of Orgies)

  • I can't recall exactly, but I think they have almost the same setup as the Nipple Ts.

Example3 (future): The upcoming greatly expanded version of Toy Story will have a variation of this called Telepathy Love. This one guarantees lots of FFF due to... well  you will have to wait and see.

 

There's many other existing toys with 1 or more of those 3 effects. The snip below is from Toys&Love - Features

A mod author wanting to do this, can do it without script. You just put one of those 3 keywords on the toy in your Toy Box.

With script a mod to do this more specifically for your three-some, or in combat. Above examples will have 3-somes but also everything-some so you gonna get a lot of variety.

Varies, if not the succubus (i.e. PSQ is not installed or not active). I tend to use: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9225

Or simply console a 30 point speedbuff (I prefer using a moderate speedbuff to using horses, even with Convenient Horses I find those rather inconvenient).
In the past I also used the movement speed buff function from Levelers Tower (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2692), but I believe that's pretty much the same as using the console.

Had to setup an SE (not AE) version to recreate what you saw. Just that little ring from that mod, and SE, and was easy to see the problem. Its fixed now for next release, which is in a couple weeks at most. It will be getting lots of additional random testing while testing other stuff. Glad you reported it.

It could also be that your NPC's on average look so ugly, they make looking her like Aphrodite herself. (Though we know, at best, she is Aphrodites youngest daughter. ;))

Uhoh, that brings us into the 'matter of taste' realm, which is a minefield, but since I'm old enough to not care for others opinions on those matters, I shall give it a shoot. ^^

@VirginMarie you, and your team are doing great work. I am planing for a new playthrough and wanted to change my usual loadorder. A very interesting feature would be, if Toys&love could completely replace SexLab an animation starter. I understand, that within the toys series it does not require SexLab. But there is a myriad of mods that have sexlab as requirement. Will the mods work with Toys&love without sexlab? For example, if mods like BabooDialoque or PublicWore make a call for animations starting, would Toys&Love listen and start the animation?

 

If not, is there a sort of "Interceptor" plugin planned? As example, there is a relatively new mod called OSLAroused. It replaces completely SLAroused and maintains compatibility with mods, that require it.

I'm not sure an 'interceptor' plugin that reroutes Sexlab calls to T&L is possible, though I would be interested in one as well. It's not that OSLAroused works 100% without tweaking (i.e. creating patches for some mods). Usually that is because a mod author did not (properly) utilize the Sexlab Aroused API (or worse modified one of its scripts). Sadly, that's something even more common with Sexlab. I'm also not sure all kinds of scenes are fully supported in Toys&Love yet (I'm primary looking at the invisible furniture stuff, which admittedly isn't working that well in SexLab either, unless you have a mod like SexLab Utilities which hacks Sexlab so it can handle those scenes properly.)
