So, I have a strange-ish issue, and I'm not sure if it's with this mod or something else?  For some reason, my NPCs now refuse to wear both the bikini top and bikini bottom simultaneously.  It's an either / or situation, they'll always start out with just wearing the bottom and if I force them to wear the top, they'll unequip the bottoms.  It sounds like somehow the slots have been merged, but I don't know of any mods I have installed that would do that?

Are you sure, you are using my mod (TAWOBAE) and not a different TAWOBA variant? In my mod the panty slot is 48 and top slot 57, so there should be no confict (conflict with slot 32 and 52).

If you are sure you are using TAWOBAE, what are the problematic outfits?

If not, the problem you described comes with the "covering"keyword of SOS. If an outfit does not have a "reviealing" keyword asigned, it is given "covering" keyword by SOS (correct me here, if i am wrong). This means, that whenever you equip an item with slot 32, the slot 52 is covered/unequipped and vise versa. The solution to that problem is to give the slot32 item the revealing keyword. You can do that in the SOS MCM for the PC or the marked NPC (standard key "N") by a toggle.

I hope this helps

Ah, you're absolutely right, I'm sorry.  I swapped to the remastered version a while back, no complaints about yours at all, I just found I didn't personally care for the male armors.  I'll dig into that, thank you for the reply!

Sorry, I can't figure out why, but my install won't work?
I'm using Nexus' Vortex, so that might be causing problems
Basically, the files are all there, and I can preview and build the armours in BodySlide, but there are no books for them in game, nor any sign of them when using the help command

Also, while in BodySlide, it doesn't recognise my HIMBO preset while I have a bikini set loaded - I think I solved that by also selecting the HIMBO body category so that I could select the right preset and then batch-building, though I can't exactly find out in game yet
Thanks!

Unfortunately i am not familiar with Vortex. There are numerous guides on the internet, you can use.

First problem:

From what you have written, if you can see and build the outfits in Bodyslide, then Vortex should have activated the mod. The best and easiest way to see, if the mod is active in game should be the "help" command. Can you test is with this mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17563

It is easy to use and i have it in my load order.

Second problem:

It appears, that you can not build your HIMBO preset. Usually the problem with this is, that the new outfits are not added to the group in the group manager. Check this guide out. You need to add all the male outfits to the HIMBO group (It should be Himbo or HIMBO core) and all female outfits to the CBBE group.

https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki/Group-Manager

After you have done this, you can test it again in game with the AddItem mod. If everything is fine, but you still see NPCs wearing the Vanilla items you can use this mod:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34601?tab=description. It is for cleaning of saves, but doing it also resets the inventory of the npcs.

I hope this helps, let me know, if it worked for you

Thanks! I've had a try, but no luck yet

Additem menu isn't working - I get the items and spells and such, the search bar appears, but nothing happens when I try searching - it's a problem someone else has posted about on that forum page, so I'll keep an eye on that and see if I can solve it
But back to TAWOBAE - just by using the help command in-game, it still seems like the files are all recognised by Vortex and Bodyslide, but just aren't making it into the game somehow

If this problem description applies: Bodyslide can find and show the TAWOBAE outfits, but in game nothing associated with TAWOBAE is to be found, there is only one explanation: The plugin (.esp file) is not loaded by Vortex. Bodyslide looks for the .nif files and with .nif associated files. It can not read .esp files.

I use ModOrganiser 2, and in it i have to activate the folder AND the plugin (usually the plugin is activated automatically though).

Bottom line: make sure, the plugin is loaded by Vortex.

i hope this helps!

P.S.: May be anyone else with experience with Vortex can provide some inside?

Bug ao decapitar NPCs homens? A cabeça não é arrancada e o corpo parece o projeto bodyslide caído no chão. Esse bug não acontece com NPCs mulheres.

The arrow in the image highlights what is left of the head after decapitation.

You should state what male body you are using (SOS or HIMBO) and what was equipped on it from TAWOBA-ext. Only three meshes are slot32 (I think, did not count), everything else is not slot32("body").  The head mesh is not part of the body(slot32) and I think that is the part that get replaced with a neck stump during decapitation.  Decapitation will also likely trigger CTD if the head has racemenu overlays, many have disabled decapitations to no get the CTD.  It is likely that nobody else notice the issue because of that.  Likely is not because of this mod, but I do not know that.

Spoiler

It could be a glitch because the bodyslide files has a slot32-body reference to make it easy to fit multiple in one go and it slot32 becomes reference in those cases. I do not know.  🤔

You should include snapshots, too. Maybe somebody can help.

Hi, I encountered a bug like in your picture, but different. The decapitated NPC got his head replaced, like in your picture, but only for a second or so. It became invisible. I got the impression, that instead of replacing the head for a stump, a new body was overlaid over the body with stump. I have seen this bug only twice in over in the last half year. I tried to reproduce the bug, but I was not able to do so. Your report is the first with this issue. It is still a good thing, because it happened (both times for me, and your case) with the same outfit.

I will investigate it further. Thank you for the report!

i fixed the problem by opening the shape data in nifskope and removing the _e and _m textures in array index 4 and 5 respectively, and then rebuilding it in bodyslideimage.png.58cbed9e88b8eabc52b41fb30f3ca5e6.png

For anyone who needs more information on how to do this, in Nifskope, open the .nifs located in CalienteTools\BodySlide\ShapeData\CBBE 3BA Orc or \CBBE Orc and delete the _e.dds and _m.dds textures under NiNode>BSTriShape>BSLightingShaderProperty>BSShaderTextureSet for each individual model (abs, bikini, boots, gauntlets, etc.). Repeat this process for the four .nifs in the folder. Save and exit, rebuild the orc sets in Bodyslide and the textures should match up with whatever you have installed when you reopen your game.

@DumCumpsterappreciate the insight. I didn't wanna download additional texture sets and this helped me get my orc armor looking good.

Does this support HIMBO V5?

Not yet, I updated the files, but did not release the update, I am in the process of testing the changes and new outfits. I think, I will release the next update soon.

I ran into something that I figure is worth a bug report - any item that's part of a set with heels (for example, iron_v3) will apply the high heel offset. I'm guessing this is because the nifs are entire sets, but it did throw me off when putting on some gloves made my character float.

Hi! I just happy discovered this mod here while i searched for a solution to the switched Slots 49 and 52 in the original Tawoba Remastered 6.1.

I want to switch to your mod in my SSE, but first, I have a few important compatibility questions, if you don't mind:

  1. I am assuming that "Tawoba 6.1 unofficial tweaks fixes smp" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/111200 is ptobably incompatible... Are some of the extra features included here?

  2. I *really* would like to start using some SQUEEZE Bodyslide files like this:
"Random Tawoba Realistic and Squeeze Bodyslides 3BA" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/110039 or
    Resqueeze https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/131355
-> Is any of that compatible?

  3. The old Remastered mod has a Leveled List ESP. If i understand correctly, this feature is included here...
But it makes me wonder: must i start a new game because of that? Or can i switch during a playthrough? ._.

EDIT: I am using vanilla male body with SOS Full. Himbo Body is not a hard requirement, right?

Thank you in advance! :)

1. TAWOBAE is not compatible with other TAWOBA mods or TAWOBA patches.

2. Squeeze feature is not yet available for TAWOBAE (patches from other mods will not work here). I have some ideas, how to do that in my mod, but time is at the moment the biggest constrain.

3. From my understanding, you do not need a new game, only a clean safe. If you remove your current TAWOBA mod and make a clean save, after installing TAWOBAE reset the cells (use this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/34601?tab=description )

The NPCs should now wear the new stuff. Now you only will need to get some armor for your PC.

Let me know, how it works for you.

Cheers!

Hi! Thank you for your work. I don't want to be a bother, but can I askhow the TNG update is going? I like SOS, but TNG has proved to be way more seamless, bugfree, and with the TRX futa support I have really grown fond of it. Thank you for your answer in advance...:)

Thank you very much!

I would be greatly happy about future Squeeze Bodyslides! :)

I have now removed my old Tawoba but now i get unfinite savegame loading every time. T-T

Starting a new game seems to work though. Just hate to sit there for hours again to set up all the MCMs...

EDIT: Quick question: I don't have Hinbo or any special male body. ist that okay? So I guess i just ignore the SOS TawobaE Bodyslide things? ^^

If you do not have any male body (you still have the vanilla) then you will get an empty hole in the crouch area of most male outfits. To be honest, without male body and without the use of male outfits, there is no reason to use this mod.

TAWOBAE , in comparison to other TAWOBA variants, provides male outfits. If you do not plan to use the male outfits, why then switch to TAWOBAE?

If you still would like to use TAWOBAE, i propose to install Himbo body too (do not install HIMBO v5, install HIMBO v4 )

I hope this helps!

cheers

PS: if you just ignore the male bodyslides (do not build them), then all male NPCs will be naked in game!

It is finished, I am on the implementation of a new outfit at the moment.

You should be able to use the current version with TNG, you will get only slight misalignment on some outfits (happened to me anyway).

TAWOBAE depends on SOS only for revealing keyword for a couple of outfits. You can use a dummy SOS plugin.

Let me know, how it works!

Well my most important reason was, that TAWOBAE finally uses the slots 49 and 52 correctly! :D That influences several other mods that check those slots.

Also the improved mod and keyword integrations. There are many more reasons apart from the male inclusive feature. ^^

I'll check out and install Himbo today. Thank you for the elaborate answere and the advice of the Himbo version!
