Trickstar41 Posted August 31, 2025 Posted August 31, 2025 Is there a version that doesn't replace? As I already use an armor replacer, but would still like to be able to craft these or have them be stand alone.

You can just open it up in SSEEdit and delete the outfit records from the plugin. 1

Revdrsyn Posted September 5, 2025 Posted September 5, 2025 I'm getting a missing SOS master when using TNG. Is there a patch anywhere that switches the master or are we still waiting on HIMBO v5+TNG support?

You can use a dummy - esp instead of SOS esp together with TNG.

It appears that you can install only the "Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm" file from SOS, and TNG will automatically detect and apply the SOS effects using its own equivalent system. This allows mods that rely on SOS keywords to remain compatible without needing the full SOS installation. As far as I understand, this functionality was introduced as a new feature in TNG version 2.2. Edited September 12, 2025 by safado 1

Revdrsyn Posted September 13, 2025 Posted September 13, 2025 (edited) It appears this adds an NPC to riverwood, along with some cell changes, and now I've got a waterwheel in the middle of Alvor's forge. Is there a patch for JK's Skyrim, or perhaps is the merchant self contained so I can remove him? I don't mind him, it's just the clipping is all. Holy crap does this mod make you essential as well? I just want a bodyslide so that bikini armor shows up on my character. Is this not that? Is there somewhere to get that? Edited September 14, 2025 by Revdrsyn

TAWOBAE should not do any edits to Alvors forge, add NPCs or make the player essential (can the player be made essential?). What NPC is added? can you give an id for that NPC? Making player essential, sounds like another mod, build for doing just that. TAWOBAE just add Bikini outfits for male and female NPCs. Additionally, it replaces the Vanilla outfit, so that TAWOBAE outfits are distributed. Check out, maybe you installed some mods, that do that. cheers

Oh, i see, you are right, it is part of the original TAWOBA (probably part of all TAWOBA mods out there) mod, which TAWOBAE is based on. That why you always review the merge patch before use, that standard modding Skyrim procedure. Spoiler Some modified NPC that gets USSEP cleanup scripts and regress to original look. My opinion is that was necessary in old Skyrim, but not anymore. (For SkyrimSE\AE) The "new ones" I know are not on Nexus, but many "tweaks" modifications are available on Nexus. Outside of Nexus: The Amazing World of Bikini Armors REMASTERED 6.1 (Female CBBE-SE/3BAv2) (famous because is the most stable with many fixes to leftover bugs from original, no male parts) add-on: on Nexus; The Expanded World of Bikini Armors - By PUMPKIN add-on: various modifications in Nexus, like ReSqueeze or Tawoba Realistic and Squeeze. Bikini Quest 2.8 (Female BHUNP) uses the BHUNP body and expand on leftover crap to make a bikini search quest. Is it a stupid quest to help the new NPC. Only one with the quest. The Amazing World of Bikini Armors EXTENDED 1.x (only one with female and male part on all the internet that I know off) Picture of Alvor's smith-shop modified by original TAWOBA and many derived versions that inherit the change. The wheel on the left maybe the one you are mentioning, right? Spoiler Spoiler With SSEedit(xEdit) you can remove the Alvor place added crap. Go to the TheAmazingWorldOfBikiniArmorExtended.esp and remove the persistent branch of the 00000d74 cell in the Worldspace section. Do not know if it needs a cell reset, will apply in a new game. Optional. Maybe do the same to this, but is in Markarth exterior. Edited September 15, 2025 by safado 1

Another thing I'm noticing is that (and I've got to build the bodyslide again, I wasn't sure what I was doing the first time) but I guess leather isn't one of the covered armors. My leather bikini's are invisible. All the other's I've tried have been banger though.

If your leather bikini does not appear, complain in remastered or resqueze support forums. You are in the wrong forum, neither is a loverslab mod. Just pointing out that this is in the changelog for remastered. All bikini's appear for all female characters. There is no bodyslide in TAWOBAE for some male bikinis. I may perhaps be missing something obvious, I am not super familiar with bodyslide and building outfits. The leather bikini works great! Just not on men. I thought this was the only add-on that contained fixed bodyslides for male characters.

Yeah, I did. I have some items that when put on men they remain invisible. I think it's mostly pumkin armors (the leather, some of the new added sets.) Most of the fur, iron, falmer, you know, the stuff covered by the TAWOBAE seem to work ok. I'm still figuring out how bodyslide works and what it does. I'm given to understand that there just *aren't* male models For pumpkin/resqueeze6.1. If there are this is the only place I've found that has them. Can I just build the armors for males? I think no, right? They need a specific data file to show how the armor fits that someone has to make? There is no-you have to learn through forum posts and youtube videos and I just don't have any idea what logicalically or logistically is going on with bodyslide. (i.e How do you make a file for armor? how do you adjust it? What is the folder configuration for data storagge? how does the engine interact with this information?) I've been modding for about 6 months, and just haven't had the time to both get a working modlist in order, and learn how the game handles clothing. I guess I'm here now, so this is like what, intermediate modding? Christ, I just want to look like He-man without half of all armors causing me to get an invisible crotch. I'm on Himbo5/TNG. I edited the file in seEdit to fix the clutter that TAWOBAE added. *I would be willing to personally build the models for the missing male armors in my game myself, for myself and share the work* but I literally cannot find a clear guide on how any of this fucking works. To say nothing of having the files scattered all over the place. (here nexus, youtube, reddit) I have a working mod-list. I'm able to track down bugs (as in finding what that mess was I found in alvor's to this mod), I'm able to patch. I've read 34 pages of this thread and hundreds of other trying to uncover what's going on. I wasn't complaining, but I am now. And the politics? HPH on a separate site? Someone creating essential bug fixes and then playing forced game designer? Kinkshaming? And holy hell, what perdition the modders themselves must be in. Getting the same question three times a day from people who won't read. I just want to play and mod skyrim, and you guys have created a dystopian hellhole. Now that I think of it, this was likely caused by Bethesda intentionally, to monitize free labor so they can look more attractive to their corporate buyer. So I guess it's not the modders fault. I'm going to look like he-man if people want to help me or not.
monty359 Posted September 18, 2025 Author Posted September 18, 2025 In game, there is one outfit, lest make the iron armor. If a female character is using it, you get the visuals of a something, that is defined as iron armor for females. You can go crazy and edit the entries tho be a space suit or a thong. The entry refers only to a .nif file. The same you get for the male visuals. So, again, there is a definition for one outfit, but it has two visuals, male and female. The traditional TAWOBA has entries only for female characters and either no entries for male, or default armors for male. That is why, you can get naked male characters, when you use them. In TAWOBAE, i created for the female outfits, the corresponding male outfits. In the definitions, there is for each female item a male counterpart. TAWOBAE is incompatible with any other TAWOBA mods. If you install both, TAWOBAE and any of the TAWOBA mods, you will get two outfits with similar or exactly the same names. TAWOBAE modifies the looks of the outfits, defined by Bethesda. It does not need to be distributed. If a NPC is defined by Bethesda to wear an iron armor, the NPC will wear an iron armor (three are a few exceptions to this rule). If you use some distribution method for your other TAWOBA outfits, you will get in the best case a mix of bikini outfits and "some" naked male characters. My take on this whole problem is: use only one TAWOBA-type mod. I hope this helps! Here are some links, i did find useful, but there are so many tutorials out there, you only need to ask google (or your search engine): Spoiler 2. https://github.com/ousnius/BodySlide-and-Outfit-Studio/wiki/Guides-and-Documentation 1

First, it directly describes what happens when I play. You have no idea how much clarity you have provided. I have watched about 3 hours of tutorials for bodyslide on youtube, but they were for- I guess not me. So I'm glad you've pointed me towards some better sources. Is there any way to take the armor that's *not* in TAWOBAE and add it myself to TAWOBAE, or perhaps someway combine resqueeze for females, armor for males, and additional armors by Pumpkin and make one giant 'really all you need' pack? You don't have to answer, this is the question I'm working on answering. Thank you for your time, and apologies for expressing my frustration. it's been a stressful week.

I've been going back through *this very thread* and now I understand what you are saying instead of it being confusing. Thank you so much again. Uh, did you import that changes from remastered (TAWOBA 6.1), so this should just be a full replacer, or is this a unique branch from the older version of TAWOBA pre 6.1.
