Yeh when I'm an old man and my arthritis makes it too hard to work a mouse anymore 😛

(Just kidding around - no need for anyone to jump down my throat lol)

Maybe. We might have more free time to work on it when we retire from our actual jobs, so yeah, you might have to wait 30-50 years 🙃

is the download down because the only downloads i see have gibberish for names

If you click on the download button next to the "gibberish" it will redirect to a google drive where the files are hosted.

Does this mod only work with a certain version of the game? I have V1.6.1170 with all the required mods installed however the facility is not present on the map. There is no way to start the quest.

I was able to use it maybe 5 months ago, and my version is always the latest steam version. Don't know if that helps.

Is the ESP enabled in load order? Sometimes mod managers doesn't do that automatic when you enable a mod.

It should work with V1.6.1170 (pretty sure I used that version a bit ago). Indeed make sure the mod is enabled. By default the facility is hidden underground apart from a little art installation (and I fail to recall if it shows up or gets marked on the map when you go near it).

I usually start it by going into the Markarth inn and chat with the people there about job opportunities or rumours. It should start the quest and give the location.

Hi there!

I'm planning to make a voiceover for Rubber Facility using an artificial voice generator (AI voices) and wanted to ask your opinion about what voices to use. Archive contains examples of how character might sound. Volume is not yet calibrated, so some files are louder then they should be. I've adding some additional variations for Female High Elf voices, so that every Elf character would sound somewhat unique.

The Facility, voice examples.7z

What do you think? Do Elfs sound like Elfs? The service I'm using seems to think that an arrogant-sounding Elf should have a British accent. :)

Hey there! 🙃
Very nice, I was thinking about doing the same, but I was too scared of the amount of lines we have, so I'm glad someone is picking that up. 🦝

If I may then, I'd like to give some minor indications about the voices in that zip:

Spoiler

Elenwen: sounds perfect! 😄
Ellen: I'd pick a younger/more cheerful one, if possible.

Misa: Ok then, this one is cheerful, so I'd swap Ellen's and Misa's 😝

All the others in that zip sample are minor characters, so anything is good!

Btw, if you wish you can dm me for anything else! 🦝

That's easy. :) Here's the swapped voices for Ellen and Misa. I've included two variants - "vanilla" (clones of voices from the game) and "seductive" (the same, but slightly edited to sound more... sensual, I guess?). Which would you say fit Ellen and Missa better? :)

Elenwen uses a clone of vanilla's "Female Elf Haughty" voice type. That's probably the best clone of any voice I've made in ElevenLabs - intonation and pronunciation are remarkably close to the original.

Other Elf voices are artificially created. Not long ago ElevenLabs presented so called "Voice Design" - feature that creates voices based on description. That's the first time I'm using it.

Well, you did a great job then 🙃

For those samples, I'd say Ellen the seductive (more cheerful) one and Misa the vanilla one (more formal).

Конечно! Большое спасибо за ваш отзыв! :)

I noticed that you have the time and desire to work with audio for this mod. Perhaps you can make an interesting sound for rubber clothing as well? After all, it is impossible to walk in rubber and not make sounds. Rubber always creaks and rustles with every movement. Maybe you can make a patch that gives rubber clothing a sound? I can't find such a patch anywhere, apparently no one has done this yet. I'm sorry if I came to the wrong place.

Hi!

As far as I understand, catsuits worn by the player in Rubber Facility should make squeaking noises already. These sounds are added to all catsuits (and some straitjackets) by Devious Devious itself.

Привет!

Насколько я понимаю, комбинезоны, которые игрок надевает в Rubber Facility, уже должны издавать скрипящие звуки. Эти звуки добавлены во все комбинезоны (и некоторые смирительные рубашки) самой компанией Devious Devious.

The sound is there, but very quiet, I didn't even notice it at first and it looks like scratching on a balloon. There is nothing like a real sound when walking in rubber.

@Racoonity, Serah, hi again! :)

Voiceover is finally ready.

Should be compatible with both LE and SE versions:

Voice Rubber Facility 0.75 version 1.0.7z

Unfortunately, I had to skip couple of things: hissing noises for dwemer spheres and innkeepers in Markath when talking about the Facility will use the same line (about a "caped woman") regardless of players race. Everything else should be voiced. I also had to change Alanwes voice - the one I showed previously had some problems with consistency. Misa, Ellen and Elenwen turn out rather well. :)

I've noticed that a lot of actors in this mod were assigned the same custom voice type: RR_FemaleVoice0. Because of that, voice files for different actors have to be placed in the same folder so that the game can find them. I've included a separate folder "SortByName" where files are sorted by actors. Just in case. :)

Voices in .wav format if you would like to have a look. :)

Examples, wav.7z

By the way, what would you say about voicing pop-up messages that are shown during play-through? For example, "The heat in this room is almost unbearable and the suit you are wearing makes it even worse." It will require a little editing in mods scripts and .esp file. I can make the necessary edits and give them to you and Prime66, if you would allow it.

Hi there, great job! 🙃
It's a nice idea the one about the narrator, but I think it's fine as it is, don't worry.

Ok. Just in case, from technical point of view, adding sounds to messages is not time consuming. I like playing around with Papyrus, it would take couple of hours. :)

Did you install the voice pack 6 posts above yours? If so, check your install. If not - that's the normal way here on LL, that's why you've been told to install Fuz Ro D-oh
