Id love to see this resurrected or them allow someone else to start up development again cause this mod has so much damn potential its crazy to me that it wasnt finished

They've said countless times the mod isn't dead but just very slow in development. Although it would be nice if perhaps we can get some WIP teasers or screenshots just to show that yes the mod is still being developed.

Guys, keep dreaming. You don't really believe that anything else is going to happen here except for the usual noise. Yes, the mod was really something special and had the potential to become one of the best story mods on this platform. But when there's been no update at all after three years, you have to be realistic and accept that nothing more is coming. For my part, I'm grateful that such a talented modder as prime666 started developing this. The best thing that could happen to us fans is for another talented modder to either ask prime if they can continue developing this mod or develop a similar one based on what already exists. Well, for my part, I've long since given up on anything else happening. Thanks, Prime, it was a really nice story!

Well, that's not true... because this mod is essentially a continuation of a much earlier project - with the express permission of the original author.

From my purely personal perspective (and I've been advocating this for two years now), the idea should only be continued -> if one completely abandons all old "clothing" models.

Yes - this mod is about latex - and 10 years ago, these "models" may have still worked visually... but the "virtual fetish scene" has also evolved significantly.

Even the "dusty" DD devices have received a visual overhaul - and what you can currently find on various Patreon pages (by authors who are also active on LL) is very clear.

This isn't just about fetish clothing - but also about bondage devices (e.g., "DM3" here on loverslab) that aren't ZAZ.

In addition, one or even two mod authors can't cover everything due to their own skills - creating stories or dialogues using CK, in particular, requires a great deal of patience.

Ten years ago, mod users willingly struggled through buggy mods... because there were simply no alternatives - and they were still grateful to the mod author because they could indulge their "perverse obsessions" in a game.

But those days are over in many ways, and we have to adapt to them... as programmers, aka mod authors, and as players.

Tôi chỉ vừa chơi bản nó này và tôi thấy khá hứng thú với nó  nhưng thực sự là tôi chả có tí kinh nghiệm nào , có quá nhiều thứ phải làm mà chẳng có chỉ dẫn nào :((( ai có thể liệt kê ra những gì cần làm giúp tôi với

hhh sorry i forget it .I just played this version and I'm quite interested in it but I really have no experience, there's so much to do and no instructions :((( can someone list out what to do for me :>>> tks u for reminding

thanks a lot for replying, i just found out about skyrim and this mod recently.i got stuck in almost every place,from costumes to mods that only run a short distance.typically after talking to the receptionist.i was tied up,but after getting out of the chain i couldn't open the door to go out even though i used tcl command.not sure if i have to wait for npc or do something else.thank you again for replying,sorry english is not my native language so if anything is weird please ignore it

I'm not sure which part of the mod you're referring to.

 

What was the name of the receptionist?

 

Normally, if a scene gets stuck, try Skyrim's "wait" for an hour or two and it would resume.

 

In the Rubber Facility, the NPC might need to walk to your location, before the scene can continue.

If you're truly new to using mods for games like Skyrim, please stay away from this very, very incomplete mod... strictly speaking, it's something that's only (feels like) 10-15% complete.

You'll have to learn a lot of things to get things in this mod to function even rudimentarily... the balance between your own work (aka your own free time) and the enjoyment you gain from playing is so poor that it's sure to lead to deep frustration.

 

With 20 years of experience using mods for games, I'm certainly no longer a beginner - but after several months of intensive work on it - to be able to play at least the little that actually works - I'm keeping my distance these days.

Why?

Please leave my above post on this page.

 

Experienced mod users can certainly make use of this "torso" mod, as they have the skills to overcome the various pitfalls (e.g., clothing).

In addition, some improvements that other users have created for this mod (such as the cbbe conversions for clothing) are buried deep within 130 forum pages.

I don't get it. The fire is lit, the valve with the broken pipe is closed, the orange valve is open, but the red button doesn't work. Isn't that "the left most button on the Console"?

*Edit: I found the problem: the fire wasn't fiery enough. The boiler and the books needed more fire magic, with multiple "Boiler Update" messages appearing in the process. After that, the red button could be pressed and worked as intended. For anyone wondering what "close the door to the boiler, next click the button that opens the sliding wall for the three buttons" concretely means: After pressing the red button, go to the button-array on your left and press the second one from the right to close the secondary boiler door. You can then press the rightmost button in this array and open the combination door.

If you want a complete mod, @quykiem201193, try Trappings of Fate. It's quite long but very well developed. Or Laura's Bondage Shop - again, quite long, but very well developed.

Not to be rude to this project but as it was stated this mod was made as a continuation to a previous itteration. Can anyone else do the same ? At this point we have 30 page of people waiting if we work together surely we could make something

Don't wait for this mod to be finished, start new similar projects if it interests you and are able to. Meanwhile other DD mods have come out or gotten updates too.

I have tried but havent found success in finding tutorial that are up to date on how to mod. Plus no there isnt really any mod that add story quest. Many mod add functionality which is great but im a sucker for story quest where i happen to get bound. Major plus for the latex too. There is few but very few. (DCL, trapped in rubber, Embonitorium ; its the horse mod i forgot how to spell it, Trapped of fate )

I fully agree with you, there are not a lot of devious quest mods (maybe include Deviously Vanilla in that list). So start writing a devious quest, once you have one planned out, implementing them (or finding someone who can) should be (comparatively) easy

For this rudimentary mod to ever become an attractive one, knowledge in many different areas is required. Alternatively, one could decide to use other mods as essential foundations (prerequisites).

 

1) Certainly, the structure—that is, the rooms—is the most developed part, but the existing rooms don't actually generate any action.

 

2) So far, I only see a very rough concept for what should actually happen in the "facility"... but the entire project hinges on this. It's generally impossible to accommodate every expressed wish... some users want to experience everything as "passive victims"—which is only feasible with complex scripts... and woe betide anyone if something goes wrong—then it's game over!

 

3) This mod is supposed to revolve around fetishes like "latex," "bondage," and "dominance"... in a computer game, the appearance of the characters should reflect this. Therefore, attractive outfits are necessary, and these must be adaptable to the body systems used by the users. And about 90% of these users use 3BA – and NOT unp! If you want to go all the way with modern technology -> UBE

 

And without a project coordinator, you can forget about all of this!

Personally project coordinator is one of my strong suit and i also know how to 3d model but thats the problem thats my extent on knowledge which doesnt cover all that is needed for a mod as you both said it.

However, all of this is (in my opinion) pure "paperwork" as long as the current mod developers don't declare their approval... or state that they have no problem with other mod authors starting a parallel project.

If we use them which honnestly I do enjoy his clothing and there was this ressource i have share age ago with furniture too that could be included. Also I had dabble in converting clothing from body to body last year so I might be able to help for conversion. Either way we should probably move this discussion on another topic
