Sounds an awful lot like people get banned all the time around here. :dodgy:

For the record, only 4 people have been banned in the almost 3 years of the site.

 

All of them were given countless warning that explained the problem, then followed by 3 or 4 "2nd chances" when they ignored those continued warnings. Emily/Triratna (they are the same person) was given more warnings and 2nd chances than the other 3 people combined and then some.

 

 

awesome... thats what lord trigger happy on the nasty n has for breakfast :) (and that every single day as we all know ;) )

 

edit: wanted to like that post, cant be much fairer than this on any site in the webz, but reached daily limit.

And actually on second thought, again in the interest of transparency, I looked up the bans and realized I was wrong, there's been 5 people banned, not 4.

 

The one I missed was just a small short spat where they were given a warning for directly attacking and insulting another forum member, and they proceeded to respond to the warning by emailing me and saying, and I quote him exactly, these are the entire contents of his first 2 emails: "Fuck you nigger. -- LOL, yah like I can't just make another account. HAHAHHAHHAAHHa you stupid motherfucker. I am a god, I will always be better then you in every way."

 

I don't think anybody would blame me for not wanting to deal with that mess and jumping straight to banning them after 1 warning on that one. The other 4 have all received ample warnings, temporary suspensions, and know full well why they were banned; even if they don't necessarily agree. And on top of that only actually banned after much debate among the site staff until we all came to an agreement on going through with it.

I guess it's really just my fault for being attached to Tri in the first place. Always liked that kind of personality. I understand why they were banned, mostly to ensure that my stay here is a long one.

Now i feel like a complete jackass, the entire time i kept seeing that member banned sentence under emilies name i kept assuming it was some sorta inside joke she had posted. (facepalm) I thought to myself that perhaps it had something to do with nexus. I've observed getting the boot from nexus is a right of passage for many of the veteran LL members and that some even post quotes of their nexus banns. It never occurred to me that it was begotten here. Well here's hoping the miss does OK where ever she may be roaming.

basically, the guy called someone gay in chat, and the first warning he got:

no chat for forseeable future

no nmm for forseeable future

no download for forseeable future

no posting for forseeable future

but hes allowed to upload files again... in 7 days.

 

and by "forseeable future" those dickwaffles usually mean forever. basically he got wasted on first occasion. for bs. nice... cheeky fucknuts.

He never did anything to dissuade it so I just went with it.  It was kinda obvious after a few PMs I was chatting with a dude.  It takes all types and this IS the internet after all.  If he wants to identify with 'Emily', so be it.  :P  I didn't care, the person on the other end was straight from The Land of the Weird and I dig that, in small doses.

It was pretty obvious to me the façade of Emily was an invented identity fabrication for attention after the previous accounts banning and many seemed fooled, Emily even forgot about the referring to themselves in 3rd person thing quite a few times too. This whole thread was just a call for attention,  they knew where the line was, were warned of the consequences but still crossed it.

"Emily" was always pretty clearly presented as a sock-puppet. I thought Triatna was female simply because he tagged himself as such on his DeviantArt account. Well, he's not exactly the only gender-bender in the hentai community ^_^ 

 

I hope he still makes mods. It would be a great pity to lose such a dedicated weirdo.

Emily The Strange was actually an obscure comic book, I think by Dark Horse comics.  Emily is also supposed to be a member of a fictional band.  Much like Spinal Tap, only in illustration only and not as funny.

I think whatever gender we choose to identify ourselves with in the internet is valid, for it represents what we truly are under our meat suit.

All as long as it's a fictional alter-ego and you don't use it to deceive people in RL and get things from them.

"He" decided to identify as a girl, Emily, a creation from a book and assume the mantle of Strange. "He" was on "his" right I guess... And did talk of Emily on 3rd person...

And it's a bit exaggerated but there are also the Rules of The Internet. Specifically, #30 "No girls on the internet" XD

Fuck, I say I'm an ancient vampire mage and alchemist. And nobody can deny it. Maybe it's even true... Who are you to deny it?

 

After seeing some things... I'd say creativity comes with madness whether it presents itself on the form of a dreamworld and scheme-breaking ideas, enlightenment and insight to see the things's truest nature through a different glass... or in the form of a twisted dark reality of fucked up shit. Mania and Dementia are both part of the same plane of Oblivion under Sheogorath's domain...

Ahem! Now I can't speak for Triatna. Perhaps he's really a sicko who wants the putrid stuff he described, but an awful lot of people (e.g. me) like their porn to contain stuff that they would find highly offensive and/or traumatic in real life. Hence all the rape/incest/underage/heavy SM/infidelity/etc. in smut. It's not endorsement of the real thing. Rather the contrary.

"he" "she". BAAA! IRL I'm as redneck of a dude as any guy can get but 90% of my Skyrim Avi's are fem. Mayhaps it was wrong of me to assume Emily was a female but i stand by my assumptions  :blush:  :P  :D  :lol:
