CaptainJ03 Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 An oddity with the "Run Lola Run" quest (2.1.13 on AE) I cannot tell Mistress that I already have what she wanted, but "I'm on my way" - and the next moment she says: "nice, immediate service."

Do you recall which item it was? (For "Nice, immediate service!" it should be alto wine or private reserve.) Actually, the specific item might be irrelevant, though I can look if I know which one. I think you saw a timing issue that can affect any topic that has more than a few possible responses. For this one, there are 19. The one that's available to you is determined by the specific item and whether you already have it. For other mods, I've sometimes noticed that I see response A for a second before it switches to response B when the conditions finish evaluating. Unless I click very quickly, that doesn't really matter. I'm guessing that this is what you saw with this quest. Edited August 15, 2025 by Hex Bolt

I saw it twice (I don't report one-time glitches, this is still Skyrim) and IIRC it was Alto Vine in both cases. I don't recall having to fetch Private Reserve once.
BlauMachtSchlau Posted August 15, 2025 Posted August 15, 2025 is there a way to fufill the contract by earning your owner a certain amount of gold? like he payed 10k to get lola from the slave market so lola gotta earn 20k or something.(combined with the gold "sharing" feature)

No. Unlike most other mods that involve player enslavement, your owner here is mainly interested in your obedience and keeping you as a slave. Gold is nice, but it's secondary. Besides that, the slave owner is not particularly kind or charitable but is smart enough to understand that a slave who can earn that kind of gold should be kept as long as possible.

LickerOfSpoons Posted August 19, 2025 Posted August 19, 2025 If anyone wants to customize the Kneeling pose for when asking to serve, i went through the trouble to figure it out (absolutely no modding skills) and its not hard, after seeing the "dogeza" option in the MCM menu and knowing that was referring to a GSPoses pose, the dogeza option points to GSPose #294, so i browsed GSPoses until i found the one i wanted (375 in my case) Then i went into the GSPoses mod files ...\GSPoses SE\Meshes\actors\character\animations\GSPoser and simply renamed pose#294 to 375 and vice versa, essentially switching their number identifiers so Lola would point at the pose I wanted Since GSposes has so many nice poses i figured someone else might also want to pick a custom Kneel so hope this helps 2
nopse0 Posted August 19, 2025 Posted August 19, 2025 (edited) In the "Roleplay" MCM settings, I have set "Speech reduction rate: 1.00" (the maximum), so I would expect, if I have a submission level of 10, my speech skill would be reduced by 10. But the "Active effects" menu always shows: "Reduced Speechcraft | Submissive Slave | "You are less persuasive as a submissive slave. Your speech skill is reduced by 0 points". It's never reduced more than 0 points, regardless of submission level. Is this so only for me, or is this a bug ? Edit: Hm, strange, now it suddenly works, submission level 6.8 => speech skill reduction 5 points. Does this only works in steps of 5 ? Edited August 19, 2025 by nopse0
Hex Bolt Posted August 19, 2025 Author Posted August 19, 2025 1 hour ago, nopse0 said: Does this only works in steps of 5 ? No, though it does round down, so 6.8 would become 6. It is a magic effect, so it's possible that resistances or perks (especially from mods) might be influencing the final amount to some degree.

Yes, this could be it! I am playing as an altmeri this time (with requiem), and this race has +20% spell effect strength and enchantment effect strength, maybe this also reduces negative effects by 20%.
gegging Posted August 20, 2025 Posted August 20, 2025 Is it possible to disable the function that auto deletes followers that are invalid/gone from the simpleslavery integration list? I'm currently experimenting with randomly generated followers, and it's tiresome constantly having to re-enter the data in the json.

Why not just back up the file and restore it whenever you generate new buyers? The validation function serves the dual purpose of sparing players frustration when nonexistent buyers in the list cause problems, and it saves me from having to investigate baseless "doesn't work" bug reports. 1

sinivii Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 I tried to change the name using JSON Plugins as Operand described in the old thread, but after importing the new esp the game crashes on "New Game" or "Continues". The original esp works fine. Is this no longer a doable method? SE/AE

Try the filtered import step again and be very careful about enabling only the specified fields.
Anunya Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 Yeah, can confirm. I followed the steps and initial steps did not result in a crash.
sinivii Posted August 21, 2025 Posted August 21, 2025 (edited) Welp, got it working. Seems there were two capital LOLA's in there that didn't like being changed into non-capital letters. After I changed those to all-caps, it imported at works fine. This normal? Anyway, it works now. Thanks. Edited August 21, 2025 by sinivii

No. I have no difficulty converting the all-capital "LOLA" instances, nor has anyone else noted a problem with it. Are you sure that you carefully followed the steps described in the two links on this mod's description page? If you're using Notepad++, did you try the macro posted on the previous page? I'm glad that you got it working, but your experience is not normal. Edited August 21, 2025 by Hex Bolt

Yeah I've been pretty thorough the past hours, and in retrospect I don't think the capital thing was the problem. My game didn't allow me to start a new game until I hit continue, but didn't load a save because I pulled back (due to missing mods), THEN I hit New Game and it loaded up just fine. I remember having this problem with Skyrim LE way back in the day. I don't know why this happens, likely modding shenanigans, but it works now, and I ain't touching it for another 10 minutes. Why didn't it happen with the original esp? Beats me. Then I'll probably fuck up something else because let's be real; who actually plays this game and rather spends all their time modding it till it's an unrecognizable abomination till you feel you have enough mods and stability only to leave it to collect dust and never touch it again. Gudulba Posted August 26, 2025 Posted August 26, 2025 As I haven't played this wonderful mod for quite some time (have been sent there by Simple Slavery), I can't remember if this was different the last time I played: when asking the mistress "May I be of service, Mistress?" and her replying along the line "Certainly. Enough. Stand up.", nothing happens. No task is given, nothing. I admit I have just started the submission. So I maybe have asked here four or five times now. Is this expected behaviour? On the other hand, she has initiated some teasing by letting plugs vibrating, so the mod is definitely working one way or the other for me.

If you do stand up, the scene completed successfully, but the story event didn't trigger an event. The latter should never happen (that's why the mod has unconditional events like zaps and dancing). You might try it in an isolated place with no other characters around. If you use other Sub Lola add-ons, it's possible that one of them received the story event but dropped the ball and did nothing. You might just have a glitched installation that reinstalling might fix. 44 minutes ago, Gudulba said: I admit I have just started the submission. So I maybe have asked here four or five times now. Hex Bolt Posted August 27, 2025 Author Posted August 27, 2025 (edited) New book cover. This was one of those "I'll bet I can do this in 15 minutes" projects that took, well, way too long. Getting book art to work right is weird. I had to use a bigger hammer. Edited August 27, 2025 by Hex Bolt 10
