Kanutten Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 Just a small problem, Skyrim AE slutsresume, when doing slutsrun the quest doesn't update after talking with the carriage driver, so need to setstage 20 before leaving the area. An idea (something similar might exist, havent used the keept below feature since the mod was new). If the character is in a contract, have reached the kept below level, and gotten the tag with inscription. The owner should be so sure aboute the characters commitment, that when the contract ends she/he will threaten with the release of the character, and the character would need to beg and promise the earth and moon to be kept.

Unfortunately, Submissive Lola no longer detects the collar as being equipped, nor can I "re-equip" the collar, as it seems to be invisible (despite showing as equipped in my inventory). Possibly an issue with SL Defeat, but I wanted to check here in case this was already a known issue and there is a solution?
shiagwen Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 (edited) So i started a new game again, short way to riverwood, became svens slave, asked to earn gold in earn gold mode, get 1 client to do again. downloaded 46 from downloadsection, thanks you still have it, overwrote 48 with it, which you should never do, loaded last quicksave, where i just became svens slave, asked for eaning gold in client mode, get 8 clients to do, which was the max i made in mcm. so all ok. this is the evidence, that 47 is broken, not my installation or my game. 46 is working,, even when overwritten of 48. and for now i sta with 46. Exact same thing happens when stripped with Drink, Eat, Sleep and Bathe. So not only SL Defeat. Some Mods must not recognize newer versions of DD. Or something else along those lines. 1

There had been trouble with SLUTS Resume in the past, but I thought I had that fixed. Did you mean exactly "after talking with the carriage driver"? The Road Trip quest doesn't update until you're actually pulling the cart. Just talking to the carriage driver to take the job is too soon. Did you give the quest some time to update? This mod checks every 20 seconds for a change of quest stage in SLUTS, so you should wait at least that long for the mod to recognize that you're now pulling the cart. Assuming that those things were not the problem, if it happens again could you run "GetStage SLUTS_MissionHaul" and report the result? This sounds like the problem that happens when a mod uses UnequipAll, which bugs Devious Devices items. Last month, I reported the problem in the DD development discussion. Apparently, there's already a fix in the DD 5.2 beta for SE; presumably, it will be included in the LE version too. Since DD 5.2 isn't here yet, you'll unfortunately have to clear the problem manually. Save your game, then place all your items in any container. Run "player.inv" in the console. Note any items that don't have a name but ignore xx040F0C (DD's Device Hider). Use RemoveItem to remove the unnamed items one at a time, checking after each one whether you can reequip the collar. When you can, you've found the problem item. Reload your save and remove just that one item. I took the time to provide that to help narrow down the problem. I've noted that you're having trouble with that quest, and that a seemingly impossible condition occurs with the starting client count of 1. However, I've tested that quest many times, in both modes, with and without RP, in different locations, and it always works. If I can't recreate a problem, and if there's nothing obviously wrong with the quest logic, I can't fix it. It's significant that, so far at least, only one person has reported this problem. Prostitution gets a lot of use, so if there were a serious flaw, there should have been many problem reports. Without more data, there's really nothing more I can do for a problem that might or might not be unique to one player's game environment. Is anyone else having a problem with the prostitution quest quota? 1

Some Mods must not recognize newer versions of DD. It's that generic stripping of all items bugs DD items. Hopefully we'll have that fix when DD 5.2 rolls out.

Kanutten Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 First time i pulled it from whiterun to windhelm(reload), second from whiterun to the bridge near the meadery before doing the setstage, 3. soon after i talked with the carriage driver. I will run the getstage and report. Might take some time.

Whenever you have time. The internal structure of SLUTS Resume is much more complex than that for Redux, and I might have missed another valid stage number.
R34x Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 So I really like all of the features of this mod, but I hardly ever use followers, could something like this work: If I install a multifollower mod, and in inns and key locations of every hold I set NPCs as followers through some customized dialog I create in an esp, can they be set into an idle wandering mode in those locations where they interact with my PC via this mod's ruleset? On the surface it seems like it could work and is something I could do myself, but just wondering how idle followers would work? Thanks for this amazing mod btw, it's 10/10

No, because the design assumes one "owner" follower. You could sort of do it if you leave the relationship purely voluntary (no contract) and leave enslavement (and dismiss the follower) whenever you decide to travel to another area, then submit to a new follower in the next area. You'd be free to adventure as you like in between, but you'd still get the "guidance" you need when you reach a city and ask a new follower for a strong hand. 16 minutes ago, R34x said: I hardly ever use followers I understand. I really dislike followers. They're stupid, get in the way, and make the game too easy. The game balance can be mitigated with mods like the Difficulty Balance SKSE plugin (LE and SE), having the follower level up slower than the player, and some self-restraint about not using the follower as a pack mule (this mod has a setting for that), but the other problems remain. I added a fix for exactly that in version 2.0.46. Are you possibly using an older version? I'd hate to think that I messed up that fix. Kanutten Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Been a year without a computer to play on, so have just installed skyrim and have only played with 2.0.47. Only thing i found was ::SlutsQuest_var = none and ::Sluts_Count_var = 0.

A variable didn't get initialized. If you do "sqv vkj_mcm" in the console, what is "useSluts" (no colons on this one). It should be 0, 1, or 2.

PolskiHusarz20 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I would like to suggest a function that might be especially useful when combined with SL Survival - chance that follower demands PC to become his/her slave. NPC should refuse to become follower unless PC agrees. This would create a nice connection between Submissive Lola and SL Survival (via escort needed to leave a walled city mechanic) without making any depedencies between these two. Obiously there should be exceptions to this mechanic: housecarls and spouses.

That would require modifying the vanilla topic for recruiting a follower, which would conflict with any framework or custom follower mod that also modifies the topic. To maintain maximum compatibility, I've avoided doing things like that. Another difficulty is that the process assumes that the prospective owner is already a follower, so this would reverse the order. There is an option to have the follower ask you to become a slave. If you assume that your character plays along for fear that a refusal might cause the follower might leave, that's very close to what you suggested. Edited January 29, 2022 by HexBolt8

No. The playmate could be a Devious Follower or a very dominant personality -- one who might even have plans for putting a collar on your owner. This mod avoids making any assumptions about the power relationships between the followers, other than that the player character is not dominant toward any of them.
