I don't know because I use a replacer but looking at the archieve on Nexus I'm wondering if the KnightUnderArmor would be the same spec as engineer's? ...

unfortunately no... knight under armor is totally diffrent outfit than engineer outfit
Dense uses knight under armor and engineer oputfit is used for example by Teegan

Check the upload date - this conversion is for FG 1.8+

The V1.4 is the version number of that mod.
