quequeg Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Well guess I too can give something back ^^ Since all of them are conversion of some sort I don’t own any of the underlying textures or meshes and credit goes in the first place to the original authors. First upload hope I didn’t mess up somewhere ^^’ Body type should be the one ashen is using – required texture is included for those who don’t have monli installed. Black Lolita Dress + different colored Leggings and drawers Spoiler Well tell me if there are any problems Edit: nearly forgot: there's a container with all of the armor parts. Just type help "ashenconv black lolita sack" 4 in the console and use player.placeatme XXX to summon it Hey Lex nice work on the dress had a chance to try it out on elle and snapped a shot for ya Looks great thank you! sorry guys dunno how I double posted =[
User13 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Is there a way to get these without crafting them? I'm interested in the fire portion of the fire and ice mage outfits. I've downloaded it, but to craft it wants daedra hearts and fire salts, the first of which is hard to find and the 2nd of which I've been slowly (very slowly) collecting for some quest and I'm loathe to use them for the armor. Can't I just type some number and have them appear as if by magic?

Think they are npcs. Didn't see any items. Is there a way to scroll up? Cuz I'm pretty sure I didn't get the full list. And then when I find it I type player.additem <id> <#>?
myuhinny Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 You have to use the page up and down buttons to find armor/items and the up and down arrows are used if you have to get multiple items from a set with the same id's but one letter/number is different all you have to do is use the up arrow then left arrow and change the letter/number and hit enter. To get a item you have to type in player.additem item id # 1 where 1 is the amount of that item that you want to get.
User13 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Thanks a lot That worked just fine. The outfit is gorgeous (even if it is for girls ). Just wish it had an armor value. Can I at least add enchants to these with no problems?
myuhinny Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Not sure on the enchant but you can use the creation kit to change the value of a item just load up the skyrim .esp and set LDW's mod to active leave all other .esp's off once loaded got to either armor/clothes and click the word armor/clothes that will bring up every armor/clothes in the game and look for ones that has a * in it as those will be the ones that were added by the mod right click them and select edit and change the value from there and make sure to hit the save button so that it gets changed.
Xocyll Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I rarely post , but I had to say thank you to everyone that posted links and such to these great armor sets. Here's my little Druid. THANK YOU Just wondering, but since Druids are typically described as living in nature far from civilization, where'd she get the lingerie? My Dryad, clothed as would be expected. Dryad race http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21458/?tab=10&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodarticles%2F%3Fid%3D21458&pUp=1 Didn't like the body, so I swapped in the x117 skeleton. Side effect - all women in the game are now small and cute. Top is one of the ones that comes with the Dryad race, reskinned with a moss texture Bottom is the Draugr Chain skirt http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23690-draugr-skirts-hdt/ also reskinned with the moss texture It's sticking out in the 3rd pic because it's phsyics enabled, which is why I chose it for the reskin. Hair is also physics enabled - not my favorite style, but DAMN it looks good when running around in 3rd person view. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47000/? Boots and gloves are standard forsworn gear, chosen because of that fungus encrusted tree look they have, which seemed fittng.
lexter Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Yeah got a like from LDW – gonna treasure it *pinning it up the wall* @quequeg: Nice screen – but pls make sure she doesn’t get out at night. I’d get scared to death meeting her Ah well back to business: Ritter Armor Custom Version https://mega.co.nz/#!t58VRIBQ!KEauzGjZoBgHCbsaulC3GSMWaj0n0AbKdobQ7uUX0OQ credits: Mesh: LDW textures: the original authors (don't remember where I got those though) there's a "just pants" version for usage with other armors as before easy packet delivery: help "ashenconv ritter sack" 4 Have fun

If those are missing it won't do as much as I know. There armor values can be changed there as well for smithing and tempering recipes are needed under "Constructible Object". Just copy an existing one and change it as needed with a new name
User13 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 I've been told by a couple of people here that I should avoid Ck for fear that I'll somehow break the interwebs. Oh, and Lexter - those 'pants only' things you're talking about, don't suppose it's avail for boys? Would make cute shorts.

I'll give it a try ^^
quequeg Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 and count me in on boy wear, I've been working on some boy toons with 8k faces to match my girls, but I'm havin a hard time with body texs things are lookin weird
myuhinny Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I'm not sure how it's done for skyrim but I have done many male to female armors for oblivion by just placing the male armor on my players skeleton and then adding a body to it like these.

Can I at least add enchants to these with no problems? They do have an armor value. Its higher than it should be considering that its only cloth. Also on simple changes like that, you can use TES5Edit. No need for the CK.
JLF65 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I've been told by a couple of people here that I should avoid Ck for fear that I'll somehow break the interwebs. The CK can be a little bit of a pain to get running, crashing if the least thing is wrong, but once you have it running, it's not all that bad. Certainly much better than the GECK. While I can't say about specific outfits, in general I've had no problems enchanting the COTS/RCOTS/LOLILABS outfits and armor. I use the mod that allows up to five enchantments, and the other mod that allows any non-weapon enchantment to be used on any outfit or armor. Let me tell you, five enchantments let's me not worry about potions and armor and whatnot. As long as a strike isn't instantly fatal, all I have to worry about is getting mobbed by a dozen enemies. ESPECIALLY when I'm also enchanting a circlet, a necklace, a ring, and a left-hand ring in addition to the outfit.
OmenSakaw Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Are there any COTS vanilla armors that aren't made specifically for the children race (equippable by adults and adult races)?I think most if not all the armor conversions here are like that, so I'm just wondering if the vanilla armor replacer have stand alone version somewhere.thanks!

If you're asking because you're looking for a 'sexier' version of the vanilla female armour, you could try: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34160/? it's not exactly the same (i don't think as the 'cots vanilla armour'), but.. it might still work if primarily you're just looking for a sexier version of the armour for adults ^^
OmenSakaw Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Actually the reason being I can't seem to apply ECE with RCOTS, which kinda limits how I want to create my character. So I made a way around this by using the Body Change mod and made one of the body set using RCOTS' body. That way I still have a vanilla race, ECE head mesh and a RCOTS body. Height can be modified with the height slider in ECE and so on.The problem now is only with the armors, since the RCOTS vanilla armor only applies to the children race, I'm still stuck with vanilla armors, despite the body is already RCOTS' body.
quequeg Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Actually the reason being I can't seem to apply ECE with RCOTS, which kinda limits how I want to create my character. All of my girls are made with ECE and RcoTs, I can't imagine good luck blending a vanilla head with the 117 but you should be able to do it now. Perhaps its a load/installation order? Also it sounds like you might wanna just try renaming and dropping the x117 skelly, there is an ECE 117 skelly here on LL I think made by Glouf someone please correct me if I'm wrong... it's a good idea to also install the 'nonstandalone' RcoTs as it has loose head bits, and ofc make sure to have custom race head morphs, avail on nexus and should be done when you do your racemenu/ECE and associated plugins. IMO, sounds to me like your best bet would be to install the Ashen x117 from the cotsbuymystuff pack, But if you look at my screenies you'll see you can make your toons with as much creativity as any vanilla race if not more, even adding facial animation, hd teeth/mouth/lips, 8k faces, 4k bodys tat overlays blah blah. As a foot note, I've got facial animation workin on my girls if anyone needs help just holla
User13 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Where would I get some of the cool body tattoos I see some of you using? I know tats are avail from Nexus of course, but will they scale correctly with a Cots or SK bod?
myuhinny Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Depends on what type of tattoo you get there are some on the nexus that I had found before and used that were just made with paint net and all I had to do was drop it on top of my file in paint net and then make sure that both the same size then merged the one down on top of the other one as it wasn't a body type .dss it was just tattoo that forms to whatever body you were using. Some tattooed are probably modified to to players body or custom made ones.
