After that you can talk to RTBP through the Commander. The Commander does nothing directly, it just sends commands. RTBP proper does everything and is absolutely essential. Make sure to check out the readme.
BlueFalken Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Hi, The RTBP seems not to be fonctionnnal since the last update of sims 4. Is there some people who encounter the same issue ? I would like to resolve it in my game. Should RTBP be updated ? Thank you a lot !

Maverick83 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Hey CPVC, RTBP doesnt work well with Eve V9.2 body, right? Seems like breast goes way saggy comparing with Lumia breasts and also its making all the upper torso to bounce, even the back. Wanted to ask if there is a way to make it work? perhaps a config?
Ifrit158 Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 has anybody reported a bug with the life and death expansion where the ghosts arnt transparent and the texture seems bit glitchy? i ask because after uninstalling rtbp the issue was corrected and once i tried to install again the textures seemed to be glitchy once more.
NunnaYahBuzi Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 Is there way to make specific selectable WW parts compatible with RTBP? Had a boobs body part work with v.4-p6-e2(build from last year in dec i think) and then every update since it hasn't worked. If not that's g, but was curious if there was a something on our end that could be edited to make stuff compatible with the latest versions

Still working on that.  3 hours ago, NunnaYahBuzi said: Is there way to make specific selectable WW parts compatible with RTBP? It's possible that I could fix this and include it in the next release.

Hi, it looks like it's the same problem as with my mesh's. I believe this happens when the shape of the breasts is changed too much. With the latest version most of them work again. But the hanging breasts, which sag too far from the mesh, sometimes pull the shoulders down. Maybe you need to make it even less strict. The same problem can also be seen with some CC tops from other creators.

The same problem can also be seen with some CC tops from other creators. But what's very strange is that I created a mesh three times under the same conditions. I recreated the mesh again after an update from S4 Studio, with an existing Blender file. 2 variants don't work and one works. I had an RTBP version from December 17, 2023 with which all 3 meshes worked. With all other versions of RTBP after that, none worked anymore and with the last version one of the 3 meshes worked again. Maybe this information will help you.
jeno3 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 Oh yes, I would also like to mention that the updates of the game itself also influence which meshes work and which don't. So it happened that after a game update, mechs worked again, with the same RTBP version. Other CC's that worked before no longer had any physics, or became glitchy, like hanging shoulders, or one chest sagged with the shoulder, but the other remained unchanged.
jeno3 Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 You're doing a great job, please don't give up 1
jeno3 Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Unfortunately, I have to take back my statement. Most of my cc's work in the cas, but unfortunately not in the game. I'm switching back to the old version. Maybe you can still get my cc's to work with a new version of yours. I hope so so much and keep my fingers crossed
Pako Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Character shadows seem to disappear with this mod?(onyly head has a shadow) Is there a fix for that?
kamoewarrior Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Is DX11 support still coming? Ghost shader effect is broken when the game runs on DX9 3

It's going to take a bit more time than I initially anticipated. D3D11 is quite a bit different than D3D9, and I haven't completely reverse engineered the D3D11 version yet.  8 hours ago, TheLight7w7 said: i have this problem ( Can't open RTBP's log file: basic_ios::clear: iostream error RBTP requires access to it's log file, We're goin to call it quits now) , i already tried delete RBTP folder but it is'nt works, what can i do to fix it?   This usually means that RTBP doesn't have write permission to it's log file. You can try changing the permissions, but it might be easier to just delete your RTBP folder (located at "...\[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP"). RTBP will recreate the folder with the correct permissions the next time you launch the game. 5
Makkala7 Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 (edited) Hey! @CPVC Is it safe to say that the butt physics work with most meshes/presets now? I've kind of been waiting for that area to be updated since i know its been a tricky one to get right. For the new version, are there any recommended settings we should set the boobs and butt to so we don't encounter odd glitches? I miss using this mod so much I hope all is well, by the way! Edited December 1, 2024 by Makkala7 wanted to mention the author

I miss using this mod so much I hope all is well, by the way!  Not quite yet. Butts are still a little buggy, especially when the sim is in a prone position. I'll keep working on it, though. I've got a couple ideas on what I could do.  I've been dedicating most of my time towards reverse engineering the D3D11 version of the Sims 4 because I feel like the depreciation of the D3D9 version is imminent. Once I get this figured out I'll start working on other stuff again.  If they depreciate D3D9, RTBP is not going to work for anyone. That's why I have to get this figured out before working on other stuff again. 3
middlemonster Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 If you are on the Steam version, go into Properties > General > Launch Options and type -dx9
Dwjliel Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Yeah DX11 is the future, if not already the present, looking forward to trying this mod once compatibility arrives, looks like good stuff.
ReconUnitZero Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Probably need another patch for the DX9 version again. Basically the new Eve v9. body type causes the chest to drop more than usual and also isn't correctly equalized which one side is lower than the other. Same applies to some of the new clothing types that use it. Also do I need to reinstall the physics files again (in the Sims4 game directory) after the main game updates ?
xxdungeonxx1 Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 While Im also waiting for an update, I just want to say thanks to the creator of this wonderful mod, keep up the good work. 1
