Yup. The actual mesh data in game doesn't line up with exported rigs. The only way I've found of determining bone indexes is by analyzing the mesh through geometric queries.

At this time it’s not possible. I haven’t been able to isolate the model matrix. There’s currently no way to determine where a sim exists in 3D space, at least one that I’ve discovered.

I’m not saying it’s impossible, but at this time it’s not feasible.

Damn. Mad respect. So you only know the coordinates of the vertices relative to a sim's mesh root position?

Correct. I do have access to the model view projection matrix. If I can isolate the model part of the matrix, I'll know exactly where a sim is in the world.

Hey, I have not been able to get this mod working for the life of me. I've used it in the past but one day it just stopped working (assuming cause of a patch). I've since updated and tried everything to get it to work. Installed it manually using the read me, installing using the installer. I've manually changed the GraphicsRules.sgr file, I make sure to run it in DX9 and yet i still get this message in my log.

" Unable to connect to RTBP's simulation server: [WinError 10061] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
Attempt 10/10. Retrying in 10 seconds. "

Could I see your RTBP proper log? The one you posted is the simulation client log.

I think this should still be enough for self-collision though, right? That could be interesting mainly for breasts. A few fat colliders can go a long way simulating how they actually have a fixed volume.

I'm having a similar issue. I've used this mod in the past but recently reinstalled the game. Also installed it manually with the readme, automatically with the installer, changed the graphicrules file. Nothing. Every single attempt it says unable to connect in the commander. The installer log says everything is well and good and it's installed properly. I have reshade and followed the instructions in the readme, renaming its dll file to ensure its compatibility.

Hmmm, maybe I missed something? I haven't played in a while, so I'll update my game and see what I can figure out. Thank you for your log file, it was very informative.

Oh, you did a simulated install. That doesn't do anything, it just lists the things it would have done had it not been a simulation. Make sure you don't check the "Simulate?" checkbox when installing.

Maybe your log file is an older one? From before when it was working fine?

I did update my game and everything is working for me.

I believe I have the latest version installed. I installed again with the installer without checking the simulate button, to no avail.

Bummer. Do you have a log file you could post?

I wasn't actually running the right sims4 application I was running TS4_x64.exe by mistake you need to run TS4_DX9_x64.exe even if you add -dx9 to the shortcut and change it to dx9 ingame it doesn't matter. RTBP only detects TS4_DX9_x64.exe

Hey not sure if this is much help but I had the same problem but I was able to get it to work by going to the in game options and check the box "Direct X 9" then restart the game. That should get the tool working.

So, assuming you have a legitimate copy of the Sims 4, your log file is going to be at "C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 4/Game/Bin/RTBP/Log.txt".

The body replacements could be causing the problem. RTBP's vertex selection methods assume the default meshes are used.

Please can anyone help me when i open the RTBP Commander it says unable to connect its not working for me

The Sims 4 needs to be running and RTBP needs to be correctly installed. In the Commander, you can click "General > Start the Sims 4..." to start the game. The Commander should connect eventually.

Been trying to get Butt physics to work during WW animation, but it doesn't seem possible as it remains static when I use older, more stiff animations; the breast however seems to move.

EDIT: correction it does work, but during animations where the butt is moving a bit fast (old and stuff ones in specific), there isn't any jiggle effect instead it's a random small jiggle even if the sim is standing in a no movement idle animation.

Wanted to check in if there's any hotfix for Eve.9 issue from earlier, as most new shirts or dresses I download from SMsims use the current Eve.v9 chest mesh which have the same problem with the physics, causing one of them to droop lower than the other. There are some other shirts and dresses which also have some similar issue of not fully having physics, leaving a detached clothing collar or neck area unaffected by the physics.

Not yet. This mesh is kinda funky. The left and right breasts don't have identical blend weights, so each breast is going to deform differently.

Examining the mesh in Blender, I see that the right breast is influenced by it's CAS bone much more than than the left is influenced by its bone. For example, at the tip of the nipple on the right breast, the right CAS bone weight is 0.578595. The corresponding vertex on the left breast for its CAS bone is only 0.5. This imbalance is consistent across most of the right breast, which is probably why it sags more.

Odd stuff. Maybe there's something I can do.
