wip Real-Time Body Physics (DirectX 11)

Ive had it for the last few months, worked totally fine. The other day i downloaded "Cats and dogs" and now its completely broken and freezes after I start the game. The watermark doesnt show up either. I dont know if I did something wrong or i wasnt supposed to download that update its just strange. I deleted it about 3 times and reinstalled it and still get the same issue. Anyone know why or can help?

I recently had to re-install sims4 on a new windows install. I tried installing manually and have had no issues in the past but RTBP nor the RTBP config are installing correctly or working. I tried running the RTBP installer. And still not working. I feel like I remember the .dll is now placed in the sims4 documents folder? And no longer in the bin folder? Is that correct, because the installer is still putting the .dll in the bin folder. I feel like I remembered seeing that at one point amongst the updates. Or maybe I am just jumbled up and confused. Either way I need some help getting my bouncing back! Thank you.

RTBP's d3d9.dll needs to be placed in the bin folder. It needs to be neighbors with "TS4_DX9_x64.exe". For RTBP to function at this time, you need to execute "TS4_DX9_x64.exe" or ensure that the game is launched in D3D9 mode. D3D11 support is coming soon, but for now, you'll need to run the D3D9 version of the Sims 4.

This is just a demonstration of my progress on porting RTBP to D3D11. I've gained complete control of sim meshes and can read/write to them anyway I see fit.

Thank you that was it. I had to load the game without mods to get in and find the setting but got to it and enabled the DX9 options in the graphics settings and now it is fine. Thank you!

anyone have a good preset for butts? I'm trying to make them move a lot, chest work fine but the butts dont really move 

edit: butts dont move at all, but everything else is fine. Idk what im doing wrong

U using DX9 or DX11? also it might be the shitty rewards ui that fucked up every mod under the sun pretty much. If you want all the rewards, find an unlocker online, open a new save, make sure it works, disable online features in the settings, save and exit, remove the accountdb.package file (I think that's what it's called) and relaunch in offline mode, and check if it works then. BTW you don't need to delete the package file, just move it somewhere else. If you need any help with that part, chat the sims4 subreddit, they have a troubleshooting post you can check

no idea which one im using i just had it installed and it worked pre update

in the graphics settings, if the dx9 toggle is off, youre in dx11, and vice versa

The GUI tools can be placed wherever. The installer is used to install RTBP and the Commander can be used to communicate with RTBP. If RTBP is installed correctly, the Commander can send messages to to it and change settings while the game is running.

 

Make sure you extract everything. The other files in the archive are necessary for the GUI tools to function.

 

The GUI tools are completely optional and you don't need to have them to use RTBP. If you can install RTBP manually and edit your settings file manually, you don't need the GUI tools.

Hello, Whats new in this version? Been working really nice with the other one but i like all updated, just dont want to mess with my .ini settings. Is there some big changes like vertexs, forces, or something that would modify settings? otherwise i will update to this version but keeping my ini settings

Same, was working fine until yesterday, updated the game to the latest version and it stopped working, also tried reintalling manually and with the installer and nothing, not even the watermark shows up , plz help

Double check if your game is running DX9 in the game options. The watermark seems to show up in windowed fullscreen along with the commander if already in game options changing things.

Hope this helps. Have updated my game, along with mods and RTBP is still working flawlessly.

Yup dx9 wasnt checked. This was my issue.

i installed rtbp 2 days ago and whenever i pause or go to cas all sims ass's get distorted like they have a cone extending from their butts. is there anyway to fix this?

Turn off butts in settings.

 

Is it possible to make it so that when the game cursor moves across the chest, it starts to swing?
