The left and right breasts don't have identical blend weights, so each breast is going to deform differently. Examining the mesh in Blender, I see that the right breast is influenced by it's CAS bone much more than than the left is influenced by its bone. For example, at the tip of the nipple on the right breast, the right CAS bone weight is 0.578595. The corresponding vertex on the left breast for its CAS bone is only 0.5. This imbalance is consistent across most of the right breast, which is probably why it sags more. Odd stuff. Maybe there's something I can do. Strange. Hopefully it can be corrected. As for the other issue with the floating collars and other dress parts unaffected by physics on some non-eve outfits. should I link you to some of them via Direct Message to investigate ?
SimsTrigger Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 can anyone help me when i open the RTBP Commander it says unable to connect its not working for me RTBP Installer Log.txt
JaidenRccn Posted March 22, 2025 Posted March 22, 2025 Hey! Hope that this isn't a question asked to often. Everything works fine. The only issue I have is that the image for the gallery always looks wonky. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

There are some other shirts and dresses which also have some similar issue of not fully having physics, leaving a detached clothing collar or neck area unaffected by the physics. I have the same issue

jONHHN Posted March 27, 2025 Posted March 27, 2025 (edited) Been using this since the very beggining of this mod. Love this mod! But I can't seem to find any update on the dx11 support apart from a statement which a support update is coming soon, and that's years ago, is the plan obsolete? Because for my instance dx11 does give me a noticeable performance boost when I had thounds of mods installed (mainly stuttering). Edited March 27, 2025 by jONHHN adding info 2

It's been a little tougher than I thought, but I've made a lot of progress. As you can see in the above image, I've successfully isolated the breast bones on this sim. It works for a lot of meshes, but not all. Once I can reliably control the breasts, it shouldn't take long to do the rest of the porting. 5

You can try changing the permissions, but it might be easier to just delete your RTBP folder (located at "...\[MY_DOCUMENTS]\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\RTBP"). RTBP will recreate the folder with the correct permissions the next time you launch the game. I having the same issue. Deleting the RTBP folder didn't lead to success. I also gave full access to the folder for all users etc. but that also didn't work. Any other suggestions for a solution? Thank you very much

However I'm using the Sims x64 version via EA app with the -dx9 parameter setting 1

BakunyuuWaifu Posted March 29, 2025 Posted March 29, 2025 Yeah... I need that Direct X 11 version ASAP! 1
HpMpAp Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 I installed it and the transparency of the game broke, with objects disappearing, bugged ghosts... but uninstalling it didn´t fix it, changing again to DX11 did. I´ve never opened the game in DX9 before, so probably that was the problem (not the mod but DX9). Does it happen to anyone else? Graphical glitches when using DX9 but not with DX11. Is there any mod that causes that? It´s a problem, because now that I have tried it can´t come back to the rigid sims hahaha, but seems like the DX11 version will take some time.
HpMpAp Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 2 hours ago, alexlll said: HpMpAp - ReShade? That was my first thought, but I don't have it installed, although after looking it up and seeing how the game looks with it, I'll probably try it hahaha, and hopefully that fixes the problem with DX9 and can play with this mod, we'll see. Oh, and a message to the creator of the mod: The spanish version of the sims 4 uses a folder named "los sims 4" in "documents", but the mod doesn't recognise that folder and creates a new one called "the sims 4". It´s not a problem per se, but the config file that the mod creates if it doesn't detect anything, at least for me, was broken, with the parts stretching when pausing or accelerating the game. Again, not a problem as it´s as easy as changing the file in that folder with the one provided in the download, but it would be great if it was made more clear in the install instructions and the "readme", as in "if your sims 4 "documents" folder is not called "the sims 4", create a new one with that name and place the "RTBP" folder inside". 1
HpMpAp Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 (edited) I found the problem. The D3D9.dll from this mod is what is causing the visual glitches. Installing ReShade fixed the problem, but just because I removed that archive from this mod. After reinstalling it (and naming the other reshade) the problem came back. I even removed every mod except this one, and the problem remained. It´s only clearly visible while in ravenwood (it happens everywhere, but in a much smaller scale than there) and on ghost sims. The progressive disappearance of the objects when getting the camera close flashes, and the ghost sims flash nonstop when moving the camera, with their legs cut clean, instead of the usual progression. The most strange thing is that partially removing the mod (as in delete the folder in the mods folder) doesn't fix the problem, only removing D3D9.dll does. And it's breaking other mods too, at least "Long-Term Relationship Building". Edited April 6, 2025 by HpMpAp 1

But in any case, it's an incredible mod, congratulations. Looking forward to the release of the DX11 version. Edited April 6, 2025 by HpMpAp

Auron364 Posted April 11, 2025 Posted April 11, 2025 I need some guidance and what is make the game not start when the D3D9.dll is in bin. Ive installed the mod on a 8 gb Dell laptop before, no issues. I just tried to run on a 16gb version of the same laptop and it just refuses to load. Does anyone know exactly what security setting is stopping d3d9.dll from loading on windows 11? I've already troubleshot my install files so I'm positive this is a security issue.
l0ngdickj0hns0n Posted May 1, 2025 Posted May 1, 2025 The April 29 sims update stopped this mod from working. an error message pops up. I tried to snip a screenshot of the error message but windows wont allow snip to work during sims.

I uninstalled/re-installed sims4. re-set all my settings. then reinstalled RTBP and everything is now fine. sorry for the false alarm.
CPVC Posted May 7, 2025 Author Posted May 7, 2025 I'm making progress on the D3D11 version of RTBP. Attached is a demonstration. For testing purposes, every 5 seconds the location of the breasts is moved up by 0.01. The D3D11 renderer is much more complex. It's multi-threaded and there are restrictions on what you can do with buffers, likely for performance reasons. There is still much to be done. It's unstable at this time and it needs refining. Sorry this is taking so long. I wasn't expecting it to be so different. Also, life gets in the way. D3D11 Progress 2.zip 18
