Real-Time Body Physics (DirectX 11)

I think creating a batch files to fix CC/meshes will save you a lot of time instead of making them individually compatibles

For some reason I am not getting butt physics for my sims. When I test it using the RTBP Commander there is physics, but during actions/walking, there is little to no physics.

If you don't use reshade, you can use dxvk by following the instructions for reshade (i.e. rename the dxvk-d3d9.dll to reshade.dll).

I had the same problem. Use older versions RTBP.

Batch files? Like from the DOS age? I'm not really sure what you mean, exactly. RTBP is written nearly entirely in C++. RTBP does interface with the Sims 4 via the Python programming language, though, because that's what the Sims 4 uses internally for its game logic. (Wikipedia Article on C++), (Wikipedia Article on the Python Programming Language)

I can do that. In fact, everytime I play the Sims I do it through DXVK, because I'm on Linux. What operating system are you running? If it's Windows, I'm curious why you would want to use DXVK on a Windows machine.

i mean a batch file as automation so people can run a script that will make their CAS items compatible with your mod automatically instead of having to make them compatible manually.

i work with python for sims 4 so I’m aware of that lol

If you are working with C++ it doesn’t matter, you can still execute a batch file

unless a batch file can’t do the trick for those CC and you need to adjust them manually. But if you use the same data as fix there is no reason for it to not work

Not him but on Intel's new Arc GPUs you pretty much need DXVK to have good DX9 performance on Windows.

Hey! Do you by chance have a older version of RTBP? Or know where to get the last version from?! :)

Is the download link dead pls?

also from what i read on few pages seems it doesn't work? or...
it looked quite neat in the video

The file which can be found on the "Download This File" button is there and appears to have everything necessary for this to work.  It has and does work for me.

I can tell that most of the problems people are having with RTBP are due to incompatibilities with mesh mods. That's why I've been working on better ways of analyzing meshes and detecting the correct vertices to work with.

With the current method, if the tolerances are too loose, the wrong body parts can be targeted (you know, bouncing shoulders). If they're too tight, a lot of the meshes won't work because they don't line up that well with the default meshes.

I'm hoping I'll find a way to fix this without having to personally add support for every custom mesh mod out there.

I love the mod, i love what it does and the optional customisation the the cherry ontop.
If there is any way i can potentially assist in anything even debugging just let me know.

A small note, i attempted to disable butt physics but the game still glitches the butt. A good mid way update right now could be to properly allow people to disable the butt while you work on potential fix.
Even a simple "breasts only" alternate download would be nice to have.
Scratch that, seems my setting got reset? seem to be disabled now. Odd.

I apologize if this has been covered somewhere. New to the site and still figuring things out. Installing this mod prevents my game from launching. It will launch when I remove the dll and RTBP folder from Bin. Using the EA app.

Does this work on MacOs or just windows?

Just Windows out of the box, but theoretically it could be run on MacOS with a bit of work. If you're computer savvy, look into Wine, DXVK, and MoltenVK.

Are you doing this in-game or in Create a Sim? If you're in game, is the game paused? By default RTBP does not simulate when the game is paused. You can change this by enabling the "Simulate When Paused?" option in the Commander.

To make this change permanent, you need to click "General" -> "Save Current Settings".

You didn't install the mod correctly. Read the included "README.html" file before using this mod. It explains how to install, configure, and control the mod in-game.

TL;DR - Put d3d9.dll in The Sims 4\Game\Bin

Since they have a log file, I'm sure they've installed it correctly. This problem is likely on my end.

I've enjoy using this mod very much. I have gotten a lot of entertainment out of it and I appreciate you for sharing your beautiful project with the community <3

I currently have mixed issues with the mod working properly on the female butt. It seems like the skin details are creating a layer that is separate from RTBP layer. On some females, disabling butt details and using WW body select to choose MAXIS override works. But other women in the neighborhood remain quadruple cheeked up. To be clear, the physics are working, however there is multiple ass layers.

Okay so I got some working and some are not working and I really don't know what to say, I have to mess around with it more. Anyone else encounter this issue?

The sims are in the same CAS, with the same/similar slider mods. I honestly think some of them are just broken now..
