If GShade works anything like ReShade, it should work with RTBP. Just follow them instructions for getting ReShade to work with RTBP and try it with the GShade DLL. Let me know how it goes. If necessary, I can make some adjustments.

(Apologies in advanced I'm not super literate when it comes to computer shit and English isn't my first language.)

I've tried the above and it doesn't work.

Something that I've noticed that differs from Reshade and GShade installations is that Reshade gives you a straight dll (d3d9.dll) file whilst Gshade gives you a .symlink(?) file.

Apologies if this has already been brought up but the 'breasts' target does not seem to be affecting my male sims, contrary to what the read me file says it should be doing. Is it a glitch on my end?

My log file is full of these:

[INFO 22:28.214] Failed to create breast simulator: Unable to detect breast type: left (-X) closest vertex is null

I'm trying to install this through the installer, but I'm getting this error message:

What can I do to solve this?

Also, does this mod also work for male pecs?

Hmmm... Are you sure you're selecting a valid RTBP ZIP file release? The installer can't seem to find "d3d9.dll" in the temp. directory.

Oh, I did not realize that. I'll look into it and see if I can get RTBP to follow Windows symbolic links. I don't think it'll be too difficult.

Male chest physics aren't implemented yet. The target descriptions are automatically generated and might refer to simulators that don't actually exist yet. Sorry about that, didn't mean to confuse you.

Do the new rigs in WW affect how RTBP behaves? I'm asking because the butts are slightly distorted on all my sims and no one can answer me why?

I had one file (vmarsdefaultbottomfem.package) that I removed and that seemed to fix the problem.

Anyway you could post a screenshot? Thanks.

In the Avi you can see how the triangle is more during certain animations that triangle appears. In some animations it is very disfiguring.

Box butt definitely IS due to the changes in WW body parts--bones, vertices changed to update, accommodate latest version capabilities .  I've had to change default female bottoms to older WW-derived parts like those authored by YOT.  less than ideal, but i hope that helps.

Alrighty, then. I'll take a look at these meshes and recalculate the constants if necessary. Thanks for your feedback.

Real-Time Body Physics is a highly experimental mod for the Sims 4 that attempts to add real-time body physics to sims. Currently, only the breasts and butt are targeted, but other parts could be added in the future.

The mod works via a fake DirectX 9 DLL that behaves just like the real deal, but injects a little extra code into the rendering loop (See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hooking). The source code is included for those that want to see how it works.

Please read the included "README.html" file before using this mod. It explains how to install, configure, and control the mod in-game.

Note for those with an Intel GPU:

You'll need to tweak a Sims 4 configuration file for RTBP to work. Go to your game installation directory + "/Game/Bin/" (the same place you put "d3d9.dll"), and open the file "GraphicsRules.sgr". Find the line that says "setProp $ConfigGroup EnableSoftwareSkinning true" (for me it was on line 117) and replace the part that says "true" to "false".

This will enable hardware skinning for Intel hardware and allow RTBP to work.

Bonus: If you'd like, you can try out the super duper, highly experimental, RTBP GUI tool that allows you to Alt+Tab out of the game and change settings on the fly via the RTBP Command Server using a user friendly GUI interface:

* Screenshot is out of date.

The RTBP GUI Tool is a work in progress and more features will be added soon. Beware that you can send values to RTBP that might break it and cause body parts to disappear.

Bonus 2: Having a bit of trouble installing RTBP? Try out the RTBP installer. Just select the RTBP zip file you'd like to install, your Sims 4 installation directory, and your Sims 4 mods directory. The RTBP Installer will attempt to automatically detect these paths, so if you're unsure, I recommend going with the default values.

Update 2021-11-18: The RTBP Installer now has an uninstallation wizard.

I'm not sure I would right now.  FEELS like TURBODRIVER is actively tweaking these meshes.  If you cemented something right now, it might be broken by the next WW update.  I feel like your mod is game-changing.  IMO, it's more than appropriate to reach out to TURBODRIVER and try to coordinate something with him.  I've heard he has a good attitude.

Thanks for your work, CPVC!   seriously!

That might be the problem. Using RTBP's "dumpSimBuffers" command, importing the .obj mesh file into Blender, and shading it smooth gives me this:

Granted, the problem could still be on my end, but let's let TURBODRIVER finish tweaking their meshes before I make any changes.

Thanks for the kind words.

Regarding my earlier report of nipple piercings not moving with the breasts, I also wanted to add that some semi-transparent, or net tops will move (breasts), while the breasts don't, and end up clipping through the top.

One other issue that I only just tracked down to this mod, is there are some weird flickering issue going on with bottoms, male and female. This is mostly evident with ghosts, and so I never noticed it until I had a ghost. I initially thought it was a texture issue with 1.89, and went through every related mod, but it turned out disabling RTBP, or butt physics fixed it. With butt physics enabled, ghost legs are fully opaque, and will flicker as the camera moves. Also, living sims when fading in and out for animations, will have flickering legs, but otherwise normal in normal play.

This won't work for me. When I install it, the sims 4 will not open at all.

Try reinstalling DirectX. That might do the trick. A few people here have done that and it worked for them. I'm not sure why it seems to work, but more than a couple people have said that doing that fixed it.

Hello friend. First of all, your work is amazing! Thank you for this mod.

But... it is not working properly in my new PC. In my old PC it was working fine, the physics looked very realistic.

But now in my new PC (gtx 1070), the physics looks weird. Plus, when the women walk they don't jiggle. Only when they stand still.

I already did the thing in the graphicrules for intel, but it still not working properly.

Please, what should I do?

Do you have a log file? Anyway you could post it here? That will help a lot. Thank you.

I tried to reinstall using the installer, but same thing is happening. The installation was sucessful, the logo apears when starts the game, but the jiggle doens't happen when they walk.

I installed the mod correctly and the logo pops up when loading into the game but nothing is happening in game. I also use the RTBP GUI tool and it connects but changing settings does nothing in game. Here's my log file.

I also ran the command - rtbp.command "forceTest" and my simulation straight up freezes.

Your log file indicates that you're running an outdated version of RTBP (v0.4-p2). Try downloading and installing the latest version. Also get the latest versions of the installer. Hopefully that helps. If not, let me know.

Your log file says that software skinning might be enabled. Just a hunch, but are you running this on a laptop? If not, what sort of machine are you running?

I am running this on desktop computer with a Ryzen 9 5900X and a 3060TI

One thing I will say is that I do use the Simp's GraphicsRules Setters for Sims 4
Also I have wickedwhims installed, Wicked Perversions, and Basemental Drugs

Ok. I downloaded the v0.4 - p3. Is that the lastest version?

Now I have another issue: the tits are working fine, but the butt is static yet. Sometimes, rarely, it moves (when the change clothes). But when walking, dancing or etc, it doesn't jiggle.

Log.txt

Also, where can I find the new version of the installer plz?

The installer can be found on the file page for this mod, here.  Look about half way down.
