the current download is not 0.4-p4 its 0.4-p3

I was noticing that myself yesterday after I posted the new version. I always check to make sure everything is correct after a new release, but for some reason the download button kept giving me v0.4-p3. That's why I didn't post an announcement here. I was worried something was wrong, but I decided to give it some time.

I'm getting v0.4-p4 when I download now. I'm sure this issue is on LoversLab's end, some sort of cache thing, I imagine. If you'd like me to host the file elsewhere, I can do that, just let me know. However, people have been having problems with v0.4-p4, so you might want to hold off for a while until I can get the kinks ironed out.

Hello, your mod is incredible and I appreciate the time and effort you invest in it, just as a comment, I just downloaded the mod and after installing it the screen goes blank and the game does not load, when removing the folders and file of the mod the game loads without problems, I think we mentioned that we wait a bit to download the mod again, thanks for your attention.

So, any feedback on v0.4-p4? Are you able to download it now? Does it work? If not, I'll revert to the previous version. I don't want newcomers downloading something that doesn't work and set up a bad precedent.

v0.4-p4 doesn't contain many new features, just tweaks, bug fixes, and performance improvements, but I thought I'd get you guys up to date on what I have done. Please let me know if it works at least as well as the last release.

Thank you.

Works well, and massively appreciate this awesome mod; I enjoy tweaking the settings to my liking. I didn't notice any problems with P3 or P4, except I'm still having problems with nipple piercings and certain tops, which are remaining static while the breasts move, causing floating piercings (Noir and Dark Sims 4), or clipping shirts.

Good night friend, I am sorry to inform you that what happened to the previous user happens to me, when I start the game it stays on a white screen and does not allow me to load the game, I installed the previous version (03) and the game works correctly although I have the problem of butt and breasts that look weird (which I guess was resolved with the new update). Thank you for your attention and I look forward to the update

Hello,

Thank you for your efforts on this great mod.

Looks like something with d3d9.dll seems to perturb the launching of the game on my computer.

I tried with the same files except the d3d9.dll, with 0.4-p3 dll the game launch fine but with 0.4-p4, white screen and nothing else.

Send you the logs, don't know if it can helps.

Best regards,

Thanks for the info. Any way you could test this DLL and see if it works? Thank you very much.

The game starts with this dll.

Thank you very much.

Excellent. Commenting out one unnecessary debug function seemed to fix everything. I've updated the latest release with the new DLL.

G'day CPVC

RTBP will not load at all now with GShade.

Followed your latest instructions for install noting * 'GShade compatibility. No need to rename anything'.

So followed install instructions;

Move "d3d9.dll", and "RTBP" to your Sims 4 installation directory + "Game/Bin/". It should be in the same directory as "TS4_x64.exe". Currently, this mod only works with the 64 bit version of The Sims 4.

Copy the folder "RTBP Mod" to your documents + "Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/".

**To use ReShade with RTBP, rename the ReShade "d3d9.dll" DLL to "reshade.dll" and place it in the same directory as "TS4_x64.exe".

**Applies to Gshade??

Computer specs are;

Device name    g(ee) LAPTOP-C9OQSEXC
Processor    AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics            2.90 GHz
Installed RAM    16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
Device ID    4CHDE936-4C8E-4DY4-89AE
Product ID
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch    No pen or touch input is available for this display

Thanks for your time.

I would like to buy you another beer (or two!) if I can get this resolved....?

Hi! Just wanted to say that the installer didn't manually detect my Gshade installation and I had to manually rename the dll file. Everything runs like a dream now with the latest update. Thank you! ❤️

Hi Guys,

is this triangle still there for you ... ? i had this issue since day one and I was hoping it will get away with the new version but it's still there ... like always even if I create a new sim from scratch. it is really annoying af

So my Gshade installation seems to be different from others (?)

But I found the 'GShade64.dll' in the default directory:  C:\Program Files\GShade

Then I *copied* that over to the bin folder, and renamed it 'reshade.dll'.

again, it's not a physics problem, it's how the meshes are weighted. You have to export the mesh, open it in Blender, edit the weights, export and then re-pack. It's always going to happen because you're not changing the weights

Thank you so much for taking the time to get back to me. Awsome! BTW our file structures for Gshade appear similar....

I take it that all still working well for you? ?

Oooh! I think I know what the problem is. My apologies to all you GShade users. I think I made a few assumptions about GShade and how it works that turned out to be incorrect. I think I need to update the RTBP Installer. I'll try to get that fixed as soon as possible. Once again, sorry about that.
