I'm not sure if this is a bug or deliberate, but I've noticed that after being enslaved in any way, bandit or spriggan, you can't be enslaved again. I tried it once with the spriggan, did the questline and tried to get enslaved by bandits. They just hacked at me until I died. Reloaded and had the same thing.

How to pay the master, if he does not go out of their locations? Even after his murder, the quest does not end there. 

 

Master will wander and sleep. Also eat.

 

A dead master will end the quest immediately.

 

If you have the SD in hardcore mode your bindings won't be removed though.

  • Minor fix to the enslavement quest removing the condition that the bindings must be "destroyed" to end the quest when not playing in hardcore mode.

question, when you flee from captor do they chase you out? (walking maybe?) because 2 of the captors didn't seemed to care... lol

 

by the way, I'm sorry for asking... but do I need to uninstall before installing new version?

Reaching Mistwatch was a real pain (got several CTDs due to constant punishments and had to shift+end so many times to avoid CTDs) and now the thugs can't go inside. From what I understand the drawbridge is supposed to be open, but it is closed and they don't even go to the lever to open it, instead they wait somewhere underneath the door. If I move the thug to the door by using moveto then he goes inside. While inside sometimes the bandits and sometimes the thugs keep attacking me. It's never worked properly so far. Oh, and when the master thug goes inside, PC doesn't auto follow him.

jbezorg, have you considered looking back at your previous releases, balancing bugs vs. features, and saying 'ok, everyone, use this one for now while I work on SD2?' Maybe even pruning some of the more broken quests.

 

I really respect your attention to bug reports and working on fixes but as you've said before, an esm with plugins will be much easier to develop and maintain. I'm painfully familiar with code that has written itself into a corner and how hard it is to just tell your users to wait while you rewrite it based on lessons learned. IMHO at some point you're gonna have to tell us 'no more' on 1 while you work on 2.

 

/goes off to install SD1 for the first time in a month so he can add to the chorus of bug reports :)

How did you free yourself?

I was impregnated by the spriggan, did the questline and was freed. Later when attacking a bandit camp I got my ass handed to me and figured I was going to be enslaved, nope, they just kept going. Since I posted that I tested it with bandits and had the same result.

1. Clean save.

2. Got enslaved by bandits in Embershard mine.

3. Escaped out the back door, ran and waited out the timer.

4. Traveled to the barrow north of Riverwood.

5. Get attacked by bandits and killed. Enslavement didn't happen.

 

 

Off the topic of my bug report, what's with all the Mistwatch talk? Is it a bandit camp set up very well for use in SD? It sounds familiar, but I can't recall off the top of my head.

I'm thinking it's a navmesh issue at Mistwatch because the thug could not path to the lever and ends up standing underneath the door. Not sure if It's worth the attention to fix it.

Allies of the master don't care about the master's slave. They choose to kept the player alive, it's their problem.

 

The master does start searching if they notice the player missing.

 

Thugs are the only group that work as a team to track a missing slave.

 

 

I'd do a uninstall / reinstall just to make sure a stalled enslavement quest is properly shut down and faction cleanup is preformed.

I had CTD after punishment scenes until deleted many non-vanilla(not presented in vanilla) tweaks(except papyrus) from skyrim&skyrimprefs ini files.

Try it.

So regarding the problem I had earlier about not being able to escape by running out of the escape-radius, I couldn't find the solution. If anyone is having the same issue, just switch to hardcore mode, run your ass off and then ask a potential follower to take your cuffs off. They will proceed to do so, then you're good to go.

I think he's talking about impossibility to pay for you freedom during indentured because master doesn't follow you out of his cell. If you exit it, clock starts immediately, and it's very hard to find necessary money to pay for your freedom within a single cell.

Anyway this is not a breaking game issue as thugs are.

I'm getting a CTD when the blindfold is put on.
Is there a file I missed somewhere?

Edit : It was the load order of the mods, Sexis was below SD, swapped them and it works now, incase anyone else has the same problem :s

Uninstalled WARZONEs and bandits and reavers still like me. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

 

EDIT: Well installed it again for some reason then tried uninstalling it. CTDs every time but disabling the esp works though. Still, bandits n reavers like me. Only way to solve this is by creating a new character?

Usually this mod works well for me but in the new updates I have been having some problems...

 

The release before 20 (I forget the date) had some of the special punishment animations start to mess up and my pc would just stand there awkwardly as it happened. Thought I'd just wait for the next version and see if the problems cleared up.

 

The newest release when I hit install sanguine debauchery in MCM it tells me to exit all menus as per normal then nothing happens. It never installs and if I re-enter the sanguine debauchery tab it still has the "exit all menus to update" message. Have tried waiting around in game for about 10 mins (I know.. not very patient haha) and using the in-game wait function.

 

Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

 

I have the same issue since I installed the 04-22-fomod-final. Waiting 10 seconds in every window while exiting the menues doesn't help either.

Is there a way to manually advance the stages ?

you can't know friendly them to you or not until they will respawn again (30 days in vanilla). go to cell without npc, type in console "set timescale to 50000 " and wait in real time

I wouldn't do that if I were you. You may end up with a sky dome which ticks like a clock.
