Note to modders: Bodyslide support require some assets of your mod to be included, but only a minimal amount: the nif files that needs to be reshaped to fit the Bodyslide presets. Therefore, I'm opting for a relaxed approach about the whole permission issue. Your mod will always be required (unless it is a vanilla replacer, only using vanilla textures). I will link to your mod in this post, and you will be credited in the README files (unless I forget). For secondary credits, I'll be lazy enough to refer to the credits on your mod thread. If by any chance you happen to stroll by, and notice your mod has been ninja-Bodyslided without explicit permission, please PM me to let me ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Remember, for practical reasons (like myself not officially being a Nexus member), permissions can be hard to aquire.

Note to users: As always, easy with the requests, already working as fast as I can. Well, sort of. I'm aware you probably want more mods, more vanilla replacers, just more... ( http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=5916 ). Please post suggestions and bug-reports, and if you like, support Bodyslide UNP  by mentioning it in the threads of included mods (screenshots works too). Also spare me time by posting Bodyslide related problems in some other Bodyslide help thread, on Nexus or LL. Search before asking.

Note about Bodyslide preview bug: "Zap sliders do not work, when switching from a set where used to another where it is not, if both sets use the same source nif."  - Should actually say that although the preview does not work, the meshes are still generated correctly. You can verify this by Ctrl+click "Build outfit" button, and look at the output in Nifscope.

Silly to call it FAQ, when I wrote all the questions myself...

* Some sliders look kind of strange...
Yes, some of them were made without much thought. Luckily I can rescale them, reshape them, rename them, remove them, whatever seems best, with little effort. Overall I'd say it's a bit harder to make sliders for UNP than CBBE because the UNP mesh has more definition in various places. As for making smooth-looking shapes, one might think UNP's higher vertex count would help. But no, the distribution is not that great, so I often miss vertices in places where I'd like to have some. :-/
Let me know which sliders that really needs to be reshaped, or preferably rescaled (which can be done instantly) on separate axes (width, depth or height). Or ideas for new sliders to add.

*Clipping nipples!
Sorry, happens with "To UNP default" and NippleLength until I reshape these manually.
Edit: But it's been done, so they should no longer clip through currently available underwear.

* What's the "To UNP default" slider?
Some outfits (including dimon's own), use a body shape that differs a bit from default UNP (typically tucked breasts and nipples). That slider restores the high-weight body to default UNP shape (the low-weight might be a bit different, but I prefer to not add yet another slider just for that).

* Large and Small sliders are sometimes missing from one side?
Intentional behaviour. The Large slider (UNP _1 to UNP Skinny _1) is only supposed to be used in the right column. Similarily, the Small slider (UNP _0 to UNP Skinny _0) is only supposed to be used in the left column. If they are not greyed out on any side, it's because no preset has been loaded (minor Bodyslide bug).
Typically, only the hidden _0 slider will be generated from original source. The other outfit sliders are converted from body slider shapes. Large and Small is a possible exception here, but only if there exists compatible UNP Skinny meshes. Otherwise these will have to be converted too, with varying results (possible clipping). Edit: Actually, even when there are Skinny meshes to use, converted sliders seems to clip less overall.

* Do you really have permissions to post this?
No, not really. But AFAIK dimon99 has been inactive for 6 months, and impossible to contact. anano has been hard to reach too, though I sort of got permission to use LayerBikini long ago. Anyway, giving proper credit should be enough for now. The "don't ask don't tell" policy might work for a small mod, but as it grows, I hope to get some help with contacting outfit modders that are not active on LoversLab.

* What about BBP/TBBP?
BBP, and an experimental TBBP body is included. The TBBP body is weightcopied from a UNPB mesh. Credits to TroubleMaker for both.

* So... what about UNPB?
Well, there's a lot of synergy between these bodies, more than I expected considering their differing vertex count. This could become an advantage, possibly lead to a Bodyslide UNPB mod, or even a merged mod. I do need to learn more about their weighting differences, but if they are similar enough it would be a simple task porting outfits from one to the other.

* I found a bug!
Then squash it. Ah ok, I'll do it, just give me a moment... Seriously, I don't have time or patience to test everything, especially not in-game. So if any of these meshes look out of place, invisible, distorted or animates weirdly (compared to the original), please tell me.

* How do you make outfits work in Bodyslide...?

There is a new thread for Bodyslide_tools, which also contains new guides for aspiring Bodyslide modders.

The guides are not complete yet, but it's a start:

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/21327-bodyslide-modders-guides-and-help-thread/?p=516496

Of course, Bodyslide 2 is around the corner. With the included Outfit Studio, making Bodyslide outfits might be even

easier than using my scripts, also faster and with better quality. And it's useful for porting outfits between bodytypes too.

Bodyslide UNP v0.4 - README

_________________ What is it? _____________________

UNP sources, sliders, and slidersets for Bodyslide. Currently 30 sliders in total.
dimon99 made the UNP body source, and the Large, Small, and B2 slider shapes.
calyps made UNPB (v2.2), approximated by the BlessedBreasts slider.
Halo made UNPC, included as Curvy slider (older version, perhaps UNPC 2.2).

The other sliders were made by me.

_________________ Installation ________________________

Slidersets to build hands and feet are included, but
having UNP installed already helps. You obviously need
textures. Which ones to choose is up to you.

This is a standalone package, Bodyslide++ is included.
If you prefer the original Bodyslide UI, copy Bodyslide.exe
from an existing Bodyslide folder and use it instead.

You can merge the contents Bodyslide UNP folder with your
existing Bodyslide folder. It will work fine, but also make
the slidersets harder to find. Not recommended.

_____________________ Usage _____________________________

Run Bodyslide. The body sets are the first UNP sets you see,
starting with "UNP". There are more underwear options to use
as body replacer in the Mods pack. For example In DIMclothes,
you can select different options by using zap sliders.

The "Create Bodies" button will install the current set, hopefully
in the right place. Ctrl+Click will put them in Bodyslide folder
instead, if you like to open it in Nifscope.

Batchbuild is recommended for installing outfits. To use that you
have to select a preset to use when building the sets. Building
the "UNP Bodies" group makes no sense. They will overwrite each
other, and the last one in the list (Underwear) will remain.

____________________ Known bugs __________________________

Zap sliders do not work, when switching from a set where used
to another where it is not, if both sets use the same source nif.

______________________ Credits ___________________________

* Caliente - for Bodyslide
* dimon99  - for UNP (and all outfits based on it), and SFW Bikini
* calyps   - for UNBP (BlessedBreasts)
* Halo     - for UNPC (Curvy)
* DorkDiva - pubic hair meshes
* Exeter   - vanilla underwear
* TroubleMaker - weights of TBBP mesh, BBP body and SFW

If you enjoy Bodyslide UNP and some supported mod in particular,
it's a nice gesture to endorse the original mod, and perhaps post
a nice screenshot there titled "Bodyslide UNP".  :-)

Bodyslide UNP/B v0.5 preview

Bodyslide_UNP_Body_0.5_preview.7z updated 2014-04-26

First preview of many, this includes UNPB and 7B support, and most UNP/7B variants as sliders:

  * UNP/Skinny, UNPB, UNPC/M, all Sevenbase variants, and Topmodel (watch out for seams).

Oppai shapes might be added eventually, seems to be work in progress.

Good to know / issues:

 * UNP is the default shape, from which all presets are calculated.

 * UNP and UNPC has fewer vertices than UNPB, TM, and 7B.

Using a preset that matches the base mesh might look slightly better. There will be some texture

compacting/stretching on the breasts when passing this bridge. (ex. UNPB Body with UNP preset)

OTOH all sliders stretch/compact the texture compared to the original shape.

 * Topmodel only uses low-weight seams and assets. Don't use the preset unless you know what to do.

 * HDT bodies support the belly node. Only use with compatible skeleton.

Edit: UNPB HDT is currenty bugged (vertex spikes).

 * DG means the weighting is mostly a copy from Dreamgirl. Let me know if there are any problems with

these meshes, and if they animate better or worse than default UNP. Edit: this body currently has

a lot of weighting bugs. I will fix this eventually, maybe....

Presets, changes from v0.4

This is a major update, but existing presets should be mostly compatible, if you apply the following.

(presets are located in the SliderPresets folder)

 * Curvy is now the UNPC_1 slider.

 * Shoulderwidth is a bit narrower, but not much.

 * BlessedBreasts is now the UNPB_1 slider, but more accurate.

 * ButtProtusion has been uninverted and renamed to ButtOut (pun). Rename and subtract 100 (75 => -25).

Expect more changes. Sliders are work in progress. Nothing is final yet. ATM adjusting them in top-down order.

Next

Improved sliders. Trying to get a 1-to-1 bone-weight copy working.

Post your requests for modification, or new slider ideas. Or make your own slider shape.

Stuffed-Bunny: I just wanted to say Thank you for the work your doing for the Unp Body mod, Anatomically it is more accurate than cbbe but the problem is cbbe is close enough and with extras such as 30+ some sliders in operation with bbp included. It would be nice to play catch-up if we could. Once again, thank you for all your hard work and please keep it up as I look forward to your next evolutionary step forward!

Can somebody make port for this armor http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21271 ?

Could be done but... no. 54 mesh pairs when only 2 are needed.

For those waiting for next Bodyslide UNP update, you'll have to be patient a while longer. But it won't take quite as long as the last one. :)

Edit: I could use some ideas on how to package everything. A standalone mod like this gives me some freedom to choose, unlike CB++ which depends so much on other mods. Still, some people prefer all-in-one packages, others want to pick and choose.

So how about:

* body pack (no requirements beyond unp textures, and bbp/tbbp skeleton)

* outfit pack for vanilla/DLC armors and clothes

* one or more (when needed) packs to support / depend on other outfit mods

(semi-vanilla stuff like Mak's Remodeled probably belongs in the last category)

There is no real reason to have an all-in-one package. For instance if you update new meshes and the whole entire package is 152.6MB (just a number that popped into my head). And the meshes are only 35.3MB (again just a random number). An all-in-one package would make us download the whole thing. Where as just meshes updates is significantly less. I like how it is set up with CB++ if I don't what the amulet package I don't have to download it. Keep it simple but separate the stuff out somewhat for options.

Pretty much follows the current idea then: Body' date=' Skyrim outfits, custom outfits (as many as needed). Not sure what to do about footwear, it should probably be optional, but boots are affected by both fullbody and leg sliders - which may be hard to avoid using. :-/

For next update I made Thighs more complete, and reduced ChubbyLegs to better match it. Furthermore BigButt and Buns has been rescaled a bit. And Shoulderwidth has been inverted. No new sliders this time, and only a few outfits added. Next time hopefully more. :shy:

Edit: Oh, and maybe add some example preset...

for your next update can you possibly add a BBP' date=' TBBP and a version of each with butt physics?[/quote']

So to be clear' date=' the current bslide in this thread doesn't support BBP? [/quote']

Well, it seems Turbosundance has released a mesh that works with both BBP and TBBP, based on xp32's skeleton. Basically it seems to work, although ATM the seams are quite noticable. If you want to test it, get v2.1 from http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21199 , open the _1.nif in Nifscope, rename the shape to "Body", and save it in "ShapeData\UNP\UNP_1.nif". Just be aware that while the mesh might look UNP, the shape is scaled (mostly smaller, but non-uniform scaling). So the sliders won't quite work as intended, in game their effects will be larger than normal since the shape they are applied to is smaller.

:( Broken meshes are no fun. Wish people would learn to turn off that rubbish in Max. Or just use Blender instead.

so wait i could just take the UNP/UNPB body mesh that has TBBP or BBP and rename the shape to "Body"' date=' and save it in "ShapeData/UNP/UNP_1.nif"?[/quote']

Correct. But until the mesh has been repaired, the result won't be that good. Seam gaps are very noticeable. And the slider shapes have the correct scale, while the source mesh is smaller. Perhaps not too noticable, but let's say that a normal slider value of 50 will act as if it where 55. Huge difference. :P

"Broken meshes are no fun. Wish people would learn to turn off that rubbish in Max."

just to make sure I'm not doing the same... (using max)

what do you mean by broken mesh ?

This is what I mean:

post-47220-13597881352911_thumb.png

Nifscope-exported OBJ loaded in Blender, the marked one is UNP BBP mesh, the black one is normal UNP.

Because Bodyslide works by modifying vertex data, it should be obvious why the above is a problem.

i did notice that when i had the preview window open and clicked on the body it highlighted a patch in blue and i could see the difference in size. ive tried a few bodies and havent seen any seams only the breasts were deformed. i havent tried swapping the body with a TBBP or BBP one yet.
