To use the mod:

What is modified so far:

  Hide contents

Character Bustups:

- Chie (Shadow, Winter Casual, Summer Uniform, Summer Casual)

- Yukiko (Shadow, Winter Casual, Summer Uniform)

- Margaret (Velvet room secretary)

- Marie (Velvet room emo girl)

- Eri Minami (The step-mom you meet at the daycare)

- Sayoko (The pervy nurse)

 

+ 13 Persona Sprites

I think he don't know that it not work on school uniform.

I confirmed work Chie and Yukiko's plain clothes and shadow. 

Marie's clothes is transparent.

Yup works fine since the winter uniform isn't modded (which he might not of known) but the other ones such as plain clothes, persona's and shadows work.  Excited to see more of the outfits edited.  Also, love the dark nips on Yukkio.

The new art doesnt work in dungeons it just uses the default on for both yukiko and chie

Hello! I have lots of experience modding P4G and would love to see this mod come to fruition. I have experience with texture edits, dialogue changing, bustup replacement, and pretty much everything needed for a mod like this. I'm new to this site, so I'm not sure if it's possible, but if you need help with something you can send me a PM and I'll give you my Discord tag. There are a few common issues that I know people have with modding, so I'll address them here:

 

Duplicates: Many models and textures in this game are duplicated across literally hundreds of folders. I haven't tested the mod, but if you have replaced every single duplicate, cheers.

TMX: TMX is basically a PNG but ATLUS-style. You can use Amicitia to convert between PNG and TMX.

Invisible/default textures: WIth the latest build of the game, some replacement of textures is known to be broken. If you are planning on using/testing/making a mod like this, then use either Revision 2008 or 2023 (Denuvo-less). I'm not sure If I can link the exe file for 2023 (the exe is the only change between the 2). The latest hotfix (Revision 2033) breaks some mods, so I definitely don't recommend it.

 

One final thing, we have a P4G Modding Discord Server, and people are ready to help all the time, so give a shout there with your problems (just don't post porn there................)

Personally I have managed to edit persona skills / resistances but model and texture modding arent in my reach.

Tutorials over at g_banana dont feel quite accessible to me.

Feel free to share any interesting edits if you feel like since the modding scene is a bit slower for the game.

That's sad to hear since I've actually written a few on there . I know the texture edit one is a bit confusing since it assumes you already know a lot of stuff about modding the game. Theres a ton of textures in data00002/tex2/model/npc, so you really just have to figure out which ones you want to edit.

Its just the game modding process is a bit convoluted.

Most games that have mods just require the users to drop a file somewhere in the game directory.

P4G however requires a tutorial just to setup the game to apply mods.

I am thankful that modding is possible at all actually!

I'm glad that the Mod Compendium exists, since it really is just like you said, dropping the mod into a folder, pressing refresh in a noob-friendly program with a GUI, and pressing "Build" to add mods. It automatically merges your mods in a priority that you set (though it doesn't merge the individual files together) and it makes it really easy to enable and disable mods with just a single check box. Someone wrote a guide for it, which is one that I think is actually much more comprehensive than some others. You still have to set it up for modding, but once everything is working it's really smooth.

Sorry to say, but I have to stop working on this for a while. Life's thrown one too many curve balls recently and I just don't have the motivation to play the game, let alone mod it.  I might get back to this mod one day, but for now, it's not getting updated. ?

Hey, I can understand life getting to you and need a break or stopping entirely. We all appreciate what you've already done and hope that one day, when you are feeling better, you can back to it whether it's a month from now or a year from now. Until then I only have one question. Would you be okay if someone continues your work?

I'm okay with people continuing my mod and bundling it with their mod, modifying it, whatever. It's up for the community to do what it wants with it.
