First, let me introduce you this thread: It has all the basics of getting around and using LL. The IV Entry on Posting will show you how to use a spoiler (among other things). That's why I wrote it. If they are not showing up in Bodyslide under the circumstances that you describe either Bodyslide or DD is not properly loaded. Since you've redone Bodyslide I suggest you try reloading the DD mods. At its basics Bodyslide is a simple tool and will pull up any armor/clothing mods it finds in your load order. This means it is not finding DD in your load order which means that one or the other is "pointed" in the wrong direction.

So you are saying that even though my game can boot up and function, that my DD mod load order is screwy so Bodyslide can't feasibly find the files? Because I went on a scavenger hunt and was able to manually find the files somewhere but haven't moved them to be safe and not jack things up. Do you know what order they should load in? I have my mod load order shown on the OP- I dunno how I would rearrange them

I have my mod load order shown on the OP- I dunno how I would rearrange them The order is not important at this time. Vortex (and MO) work with virtual files (don't ask me to explain it because I can't - I'm an old NMM user). So, when you place things in Vortex they have to get "pointed" in the right way, that is, at the right virtual files. I wish I could explain more but you would be better off with any of a number of online helps for users of Vortex. I expect you can find some really useful stuff in that regard on Nexus since Vortex is their mod manager.

So, to conclude- this is MOST LIKELY an issue of Vortex placing my files in weird locations, causing them to be unreadable to bodyslide yet still somehow (to a minor extent) function. So any further help I should seek should be with someone regarding Vortex over on Nexus? Thank you for all your help by the way- I feel for the first time in weeks like this is actually fixable now heh
Andy14 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Open your preset.xml. For example CBBECurvy.xml - or whatever It's in folder SliderPresets in BodySlide. The first lines are the groups, followed by the slider settings. If in groups not DDA etc. available, you can insert all you need manual. Run Vortex, BS etc. allways as Admin. Example - LULA Peset: Available in 5 groups/projects. <SliderPresets> <Preset name="LULA" set="Default Body Spine1Fix"> <Group name="DDa"/> <Group name="Flames Outift"/> <Group name="MyOutfits"/> <Group name="Pinup"/> <Group name="SOS"/> <SetSlider name="AppleButt" size="big" value="34"/> <SetSlider name="Armpit" size="big" value="41"/> <SetSlider name="Arms" size="big" value="80"/> <SetSlider name="Belly" size="big" value="35"/> <SetSlider name="BellyDetail" size="big" value="13"/> <SetSlider name="BigBelly" size="big" value="6"/> <SetSlider name="BigButt" size="big" value="22"/> <SetSlider name="BreastGravity" size="big" value="-30"/> <SetSlider name="BreastsSize" size="big" value="120"/> <SetSlider name="ButtShape2" size="big" value="18"/> <SetSlider name="CalfSize" size="big" value="58"/> <SetSlider name="CalfSmooth" size="big" value="34"/> <SetSlider name="CamelToe" size="big" value="2"/> <SetSlider name="ChubbyLegs" size="big" value="9"/> <SetSlider name="DMRA" size="big" value="6"/> <SetSlider name="DoubleMelon" size="big" value="27"/> <SetSlider name="FeminimeHands" size="big" value="56"/> <SetSlider name="HandShape" size="big" value="11"/> <SetSlider name="InnerThighs" size="big" value="46"/> <SetSlider name="KneeAndElbow" size="big" value="49"/> <SetSlider name="Muscels Arms" size="big" value="48"/> <SetSlider name="Muscels Legs" size="big" value="37"/> <SetSlider name="Navel" size="big" value="70"/> <SetSlider name="NiceButt" size="big" value="13"/> <SetSlider name="NippleDistance" size="big" value="10"/> <SetSlider name="NipplePerkiness" size="big" value="11"/> <SetSlider name="NippleSize" size="big" value="100"/> <SetSlider name="Nipples" size="big" value="67"/> <SetSlider name="PerkiNippel" size="big" value="19"/> <SetSlider name="PuffyNipples" size="big" value="17"/> <SetSlider name="SaggyBreasts" size="big" value="35"/> <SetSlider name="ShoulderSmooth" size="big" value="100"/> </Preset> </SliderPresets> PS: Oh, i see. You need groups. ? So create a group before. Click on Group Manager top right. Enter a name for this group and select projects (what you need) on the right site, click add and save. Or choose a group and make the same.

If the files aren't there then reinstall the mods that are missing. I would just install the BS files manually to be sure. I'm assuming that you have either CBBE (noticed you have this), UNP or some other body replacement installed. This is important because the mods will use one or the other - meaning that if you have files for UNPB and have CBBE installed, then the groups won't show. At least I think that's how it works. Also, many clothing/armor mods you may find do not include BS files. You will either have to find a conversion or try to do it yourself. Many are converted already and you just need to find them in a few threads here or elsewhere. Spoiler
LunarMorgan Posted April 22, 2020 Author Posted April 22, 2020 Right.. so after hours of toiling around with it, trying to move files, reinstall things, get bodyslide to function where I can even see the outfits and files.. I've effectively decided I'm giving up... much as I hate to say it, this is way too damn complicated and I'm just not getting anywhere with it no matter how much I may wish I could. Thank you everyone for trying to help, I am so sorry for wasting all your time. I really appreciate your efforts to help me.
