I was doing some troubleshooting, and I found that if I'm facing the person I initiated the group dialogue with the position will show up correctly in some animations, while for others I have to be facing the npc's back(standing directly behind them). I think that anims with penetration I was standing behind while those that were mainly oral I stood in front. Hope that helps.

 

Also I tried rapers with all other mods disabled and the problem persisted.

Hang on, you're confusing me. Rapers doesn't know anything about 3ways, and doesn't start any. How can a 3way be incorrectly positioned when it can't even take place?

 

The only positioning bug I'm aware of was introduced when I added the functionality to fixate position and orientation on the player (when present), instead of always on actor B. It was affecting 2 person and 3 person anims, but at this point, I can't remember if it was always messed up when the player was involved, or always messed up when only NPCs were involved, but it was one or the other.

Thank you for the fast answer. I see I need to do some reading.

What I don't understand is the relationship between sexout and sexoutNG. The guide relates to sexout.

 

I've only installed SexoutNG. No Sexout. No CommonResources. And no additional plugins. Just cycling through the animations using the console so far.

Using Breezes and Type 3 Beware of Girl bodies.

Sexout and SexoutNG are "the same thing" these days. Initially there were two different threads here, one for the original sexout by UDLR, one for sexoutNG (my fork). Loogie unstickied the old thread once most of the mods were updated and would only work with NG. Both of the mod files are Sexout.esm.

 

Let me know what you find. I suspect a conflict with another mod.

So I want to start by thanking you all for your amazing work! Kinda inspired me to get back into modding again (once my new comp is rebuilt) and hopefully I will be able to contribute to this rather amusing project.

 

With that said, I so far am getting some odd errors recently. From SCR20120131.3, I started to get NGSAN errors only with the supermuties (9.5, then 9.2 a day later). I updated today to 206, and the NGSAN 9.2 has spread for me to Cazas, Coyotes, Gekkos, and Centaurs too. Unless the anims had been changed and not posted in the OP, all of my files should be in the right place and up to date.

9.2s again? Argh. This is irritating the hell out of me. I will try to find time this week to really dive into it and try to figure things out. What mod is causing the sex leading to the 9.2? Is it combat rape from rapers.. normal rape from rapers.. the 'creature love' mod? Something else?

Are you using SmallerTalk's new functionality to talk to creatures to initiate sex with you as the giver? Most (if not all) of the critter animations are you as the receiver, critter as giver and you'd get all kinds of 9.2 NGSAN errors if you aren't using a supported positioning of critter and human.

Are you using SmallerTalk's new functionality to talk to creatures to initiate sex with you as the giver? Most (if not all) of the critter animations are you as the receiver, critter as giver and you'd get all kinds of 9.2 NGSAN errors if you aren't using a supported positioning of critter and human.

I only just upgraded smallertalk today, so this wouldnt be applicable to my earlier errors from the supermuties (from thursday last week I believe). Ive been using the combat rape, which my char should be the receiver (unless theres something shes not telling me :P ) and up until this week never received any of these errors.

 

*edit: I should mention the 9.2 is also from a clean save, while the 9.5 occurred after upgrading an older save file (turned off the mods I upgraded, opened older save, created save w/ them off, then turned the mods on).

If I do a clean install of NG .52, it seems at least some settings are not being set properly; NG override apparently off, clothing/redressing settings blank, male NPC body blank (I'm using Breeze's), camera delay set to zero, possibly others. If I have sex with a female NPC without changing any settings, the female NPC gets stuck with a "No Weapon" and "nude body" in their inventory (setting/resetting bodysuit and redressing settings prevents this).

 

If I do an unclean upgrade from NG .49 to .52, the old settings are retained I think.

You need to give it time after the first run, the quest scripts don't run immediately; it'll take 5 or 6 seconds for them to run the first time and set the initial values, longer if you have lots of mods. Entering any "menu mode" (loading screen, pip boy, console) pauses the clock. It's not initialized until you get the notification message about the version.

- Creatures appear to be working fine, testing limited. I tried Cheyenne and some of old lady gibsons dogs, and meansonofabitch (supermutant). All worked fine, though (as usual) the dog eyeballs did pop out of their heads.. heh.

 

- 3ways seem to be working fine with 2NPC + Player, character is not facing the wrong way. Tested with random NPCs + player, did not look at NPC-only 3ways.

 

- Some MCM settings ARE not being set properly initially. I'll have a fix out tonight or tomorrow for this, sorry about that. Seems to affect bodysuits and undress/redress options, maybe others as well. This is certainly due to the new version numbering vars + me being an idiot.

There are somehow two orphaned dialogs in sexout. GREETING (no changes, but it's there) and SexoutSexDoctorBuy. No clue how greeting got in there, but it shows up all green in FNVEdit. The doctor one is for the removed doctor NPC and quest. Going to delete them both in the next release.. how they got missed and what they're doing here is a mystery to me right now.

Just tried letting a clean .52 install run for a good few minutes but got no version notification. Sorry, forgot to mention I'd tried leaving it for around 30 seconds before.

The version notification is only in the console now, it no longer pops up in the corner. You should get a message along the lines of "version system changed, settings reset" or something like that if you try it from a sexout-clean save. Did you get that message?

Getting 9.2 errors again for coyotes near canyon wreckage travel point. See pic below for console readout, because this time its giving a formid looking bit with the error. Also geckos seem to not be picking an animation when trying a rape.

No I just got the messages for added stuff like the reset gun (no messages with unclean upgrade). Stuff in the console looked okay.

For the supermuties, it seems only the ones in Black mountain are giving me the 9.2 error. Mutie in west side, and Jacobstown work fine. Also tested on Dogs (Cheyanne, Violetta's fiend guarddogs, and the junkyard lady) and these seem to be fine, but Coyotes are still giving a 9.2 error.

I was wondering if NG's gay & bi lists could be pre-filled with the NPCs identified in Sexout Orientation Express. I'd rather not use that because the newer versions seem to assign orientation to random npcs, which is a feature I don't really want, and it would eliminate requiring an extra mod to be loaded just to fill in the lists with the few npcs we actually already know to be gay or bi. Don't mean to step on Jaam's toes - I just think it would be simpler.(Adding new npc's would obviously still need express or whatever else may come along.)

 

I realize you already have quite a to-do list, pride. But if you're good with the idea, I could get you an esp to do overrides with, keeping the work to a minimum.

If you want to provide the esp, I have no problem getting it merged in. Others are much more familiar with the nitty gritty lore details on that kind of stuff than I am, so I haven't made any attempt at doing it myself.

You could ask the orientation express creator to MCM that mod and provide options for how it works instead.
