Halstrom Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Having a small problem with one of the pregnancy clothing items, the Alma dress doesn't swap to the pregnant versions when my character is going through the various stages. That's because the Alma dress hasn't been added to the system yet, the meshes exist, I'll add them into next update.
Mickster Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 From what I understood of the perks included with SCR only Pregnancy uses 3 of them. The rest aren't used by any mods right? I'm asking because I don't want to waste perk points on them if they don't really affect gameplay. I checked the readme's of the mods I'm using and looked for any edits to the SCR perks and only Pregnancy edits them AFAIK. An idea: would it be possible to set up a data registering structure/script where a mod author can choose to enable the perk if needed without editing the original perk from SCR? That way you don't have to worry about enabling them for other mods yourself or the opposite which is people picking them but the perks not doing anything with their current mod setup.
Halstrom Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 There are a couple of mods that check them for dialogue conditions or in scripts, but no idea which ones now. The trouble is enabling them by edit is messy, you would have to find them all and add checks and enabling to all those mods, when you've done that we could try disabling them again. If I disable them again people will complain again and it may break some mods without people knowing why.
Mickster Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 Hmm, what about a thread that keeps track of which mods use what perks from SCR? Could be a community effort thing kinda like the link lists the Skyrim section has for sex mods. Ideally you'd want some kind of standardized way of informing users about which SCR perks have an effect on gameplay to be adopted as early as possible in the development cycle of mods.
Riderofanarchy Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 So I found the Bunker and wanted to buy to some of the gear there but none of them are working they cause invis body. Was there something I missed when installing?
RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 So I found the Bunker and wanted to buy to some of the gear there but none of them are working they cause invis body. Was there something I missed when installing? The needed resources for SCR.. There is a tutorial to assemble those files needed for Store. Use every step on that page and you should be find after creating and installing it.
nyaalich Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Don't know if you have a male or female character, but my understand is that a lot of stuff only has female textures...no male.

Use every step on that page and you should be find after creating and installing it. I halfway solved my own problem I installed the Assets.....But now one of them is causing CTD on startup and I have no idea which one. Well you installed them wrong... very wrong.. If you read the tutorial.. there are a few that will cause CTD.. For SCR assets the ESPs / ESMs are to be removed. Step 3: Verification of Installation Check the SCR Resources folder and you should only have the following: Meshes Textures Sound SexoutCommonResources - VegasChokers If you have anything else you did something wrong go back and figure out where you went wrong. If your folder has only the files I mention above and you are completely satisfied that you have everything ready move to Step 4. If you think you made mistake go back and repeat any or all the individual steps for the requirements. You are crashing because there are a few mods that you added (esp's/ esm's) that have Fallout 3 as masters. You don't have Fallout 3 in the load order and thus a crash. I don't remember which ones are Fallout 3.. You will have to check the links and any from Nexus that are on the Fallout 3 section the esp must be removed. That or if you can figure out by checking using your mod manager which one have Fallout 3 as a master.. that will work as well. Basically you need to do some leg work and find those mods and remove them.. I think it is a Bunny suit and T6M Competition Swimsuit suit mods but not sure.

That stopped the CTD and when I saw the Alma Suit working I though I did it....then every other SCR outfit I tried was the same so then that happened. I think the next step is deactivating the ESPs for each outfit and use the sexout store varient. RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Stop take your breath.. remove the assets you installed and just make a proper SCR resources folder. Your life would be so much easier.
Riderofanarchy Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Quick Question: Does using Nexus Mod Manager to install the mods cause more of a problem? Cause I can't find the SCR resources in my files....
RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Does using Nexus Mod Manager to install the mods cause more of a problem? Shouldn't however most advise using FOMM for Sexout.. Your current issues I doubt is result of NMM. It is user errors. Cause I can't find the SCR resources in my files.... That sound about right.. I would be concerned if you did find "SCR Resources" in your files.. See.. You HAVE TO MAKE..the SCR Resources Folder. I have a link in my sig for this. Go through the process. it is lengthy. If you get confused download the PDF it is more detailed. Make your SCR Resources folder.. Install it and not have to worry about SCR's assets that are from SExout Store or elsewhere again. IN case there is a problem with you finding the link in my sig.. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/414-tutorial-scr-resources-folder-creation/ Check it out.

I think that will fix the whole Invis body problem once and for all. If it is done correctly it WILL fix the invis body issue at least for the SCR resources used in SexoutStore and other SCR mods. If done completely it will also add the pregnancy bodies and armors for various versions of armors as well. Basically everything you need for SCR that isn't provided for you by Halstrom in his downloads. It has been up and maintained by me for almost two years.. (Oct 2013 start) and it has helped numerous people tame the issues with assets that SCR uses.

The tutorial's process of installation means I'll have to uninstall every asset, Download them manually, uncompress them each, make the folder, put each mesh and testure file into the folder, and then put the folder into Data...... Which is going to be...... about 2 more hours worth of work.....and it's midnight here.
RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Yep..now you get it. You are correct for best results you should remove the other assets that are on the SCR resources tutorial. However that FMOD you create (or simple 7zip to install with FOMM etc) you won't have to worry about it for a very long time going forward. The assets covered by this tutorial will not in any way harm your game play. No scripts, or anything that will damage your saves or anything.. you will only get floating heads and / or giant red triangles until you fix it. Now.. if you have everything now installed and aren't crashing.. you can postphone it's creation I advise you open the data folder and remove all the mods esp that are from the tutorial and rename the Vegas chokers to SexoutCommonResources - Vegas Chokers as it is a BSA and won't work without a proper esp linked to it. Do that and you may be able to continue for the time being to get your "Game On".. Then create the FMOD when you have a chance and rework your game folder when you feel like it.

Well....being one that has always preferred the convenience and easy assembly of NNM This makes me uneasy...... my biggest fear is I'll screw up something in an unfathomable way that causes all my characters to have floating eyes and teeth and no weapon models......
RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 That is a possibility..I tried to give you the cleanest way to go about it .. and quickly if you have a working model but there is always risk. At least make sure you have each and every asset listed on that tutorial installed, and make sure the FO3 mods aren't active / installed and you might be able to play until you do break something serious enough that requires a nuke and reinstall. At least you can get some gaming done in the mean time. If you install all the mods that are part of the requirements you will have all the assets needed. Then if you feel brave .. remove the esps and that should prevent any accidents later when you forget what you have done or need to do .

So Make a SCR Resources folder, uncompress all the files and take their meshes and textures ONLY into the folder, rename the choker esp and put that into the folder as well, and then put it into the Data folder. That's the short version right?
RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Step 3: Verification of Installation Check the SCR Resources folder and you should only have the following: Meshes Textures Sound SexoutCommonResources - VegasChokers If you have anything else you did something wrong go back and figure out where you went wrong. If your folder has only the files I mention above and you are completely satisfied that you have everything ready move to Step 4. If you think you made mistake go back and repeat any or all the individual steps for the requirements. You are basically correct. You also need the Sound files. and then put it into the Data folder. Not exactly.. however you can do it that way. The advised way is to create a FMOD or compressed folder that a manager can handle and use a mod manager to install it. This way if something later overwrites the files from SCR Resource folder and you don't like it.. you can reinstall it again. .

RitualClarity Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 So Compress the folder and then I use NMM to install them. When you are happy with the folder contents.. yes.. Most use 7zip.. The tutorial is setup to create a FMOD.. Basically it needs to be packaged correctly.. (like mentioned in the tutorial) then compressed in a manner that a mod manager can handle. If you have more questions on the SCR Folder Process you can post on that thread .. Halstrom will have to read through all this to get to his work .. lol. Wait I have a new problem, I can't change the name of the Vegas Choker ESP. You should be able to do it easy enough .. however I will send you a copy PM.. extract it and drag the BSA to your SCR REsources folder. You will need 7zip to extract it.. link if you don't have it in the Tutorial.
Riderofanarchy Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Ok Now a lot of things are working much better now. Except I might have left out some unbeknowningly. What Mods included the Barbie outfits?
