Fiddlesticks Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I just finished the quests in this mod, and I have to say that, beyond a few rough points where it's hard to tell what the next step should be, this mod is remarkable! Far more clever and interactive and involving than I ever thought it would be. You start the quests with a feeling that it's all going to be inside jokes and sex gags, but by the end you're really emotionally involved, and the finale is incredibly satisfying. Excellent work. My most sincere thanks goes out to all those involved in this project.

Had to use "setstage" to force-advance that quest. - A slave for a goblin got broken, has been trained to 100+ ranks in creature, and the quest still won't update, nor does the quest-giver have the dialogue to finish this quest. Am I missing something?
fansy Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 First off, let me thank you guys for putting out a great mod! I've had hours of fun with Bravil, and will likely continue to. But could someone help me out with a little editing? I am pretty new to the modding scene, but wanted to try to get the female NPCs in Bravil Underground to utilize one of the sexy walks from a Female Sexy Walk mod. I attempted to open the Bravil esp in the Construction set, navigate to a female NPC in Bravil Underground, and modify her forward walk animation to one of the sexy ones. I then saved the esp, and fired up Oblivion. Although the NPC then used the sexy walk, the edit seemed to break the scripts for all the NPCs (or at least the few I tried)...for instance when talked to, Mia would give the dialogue for the action with Kinzo but the subsequent sex would not be initiated, and Wild Hunt would say he was going to go over and take care of the annoying man, walk over there, but then they would just stand there talking to each other. When I replaced the esp with a backed up version, these scripts would work properly. Soooo, what am I doing wrong in adding sexy walks to NPCs? I checked the esp in the CS and made it active. I opened it, and the CS gave a couple warnings (that certain objects were present in both bravil and slavetrader), but seemed to open the files. Is there a better way to do this? I greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks! fansy

However, due to the heavy use of Japanese slang (which is untranslatable) I did have to make quite a bit up from scratch....so I will take a very small pat on the back...from time to time. Santr, You need to talk to slaves periodically to get your updates. Beyond the 1st quest the updates do not automatically pop up. They only come when you talk to the NPC you are trying to break. Fansy, make sure you are opening the construction set with OBSE. If you do not then it breaks the scripts as you have noticed. Even better is to use the CS extender. I use version 51 of it (that version doesn't require you to use a beta version of OBSE) and it works great. Not the options dialogue, they will have a special dialogue outside of the normal slave trader orders dialogue that will trigger the quest updates. If you continue to have problems then take them to the medical clinic and you can wipe their minds and even make them a sex slave there.

When you've completed all requirements, she should greet you with "Ohh ... my poor body ... " when you click on her, and the quest should update. Each successful training session has only a 3% chance of breaking a slave. If you are using the latest version of LoversSlaveTrader you can change that in the .ini to something more reasonable. - A slave for a goblin got broken, has been trained to 100+ ranks in creature, and the quest still won't update, nor does the quest-giver have the dialogue to finish this quest. For the 2nd issue, are you talking about The Hots? The quest to sell a slave to the goblin den? You can use any NPC for that, so there will be no quest update on talking to the slave during training. Pick an NPC, enslave him/her, and train. You can also speak to Onan for advice on exactly how much to train, but that's actually optional for the quest. Once you've trained the NPC enough (20 times) you take the NPC back to the goblin den and speak to the midget orc. Use the "Slave Trade" option and ask "How is this slave?" If the slave has been trained 20+ times with creatures, the orc should accept. There doesn't appear to be any condition that even requires the slave to be broken. There's only 2 quest stages to this particular quest- getting the quest, and the ending message that mentions your reward. There is no quest update informing you that slave training is completed. If it isn't the mini-orc will reject the slave. If the mini-orc is not accepting an NPC with 20+ creature training then something else is wrong. The slave may not be tradable for some reason. Try another NPC. I usually use the female you save from a goblin in the Party of the Beast Tavern, she'll agree to be your slave if you save her, and that just leaves training.

Hmm, I don't think I've seen anything relevant, but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. I'll try everything you've suggested. Thanks. The female warrior (yep, Cherry) never managed to get broken, no matter how many times I trained her, so that's probably the reason I never got that dialogue from her, since I just gave up and force-advanced the quest. And as for the slave for the goblin, I'd thought that orc would have a specific quest-dialogue in the main branch. I saw the 'Slave Trade' option, but I thought it's just generic slave trading and has nothing to do with the quest. Thanks!

That is 999 times out of 1,000 the reason. Most forget to install either MBP 1.4a or MBP++ v98 (some forget to install both).

Running OBSE v0020, have Shivering Isles installed, the latest Oblivion patch, Lovers with PK rev96, Lovers Slave Trade 1.0 English Final, Lovers Creatures 1.4.1 Revised, Lovers Bitch v0.5b, and running the all-in-one OMOD with MBP 1.4a, MBP++ 0.98a, and x117++ 0.78. The only thing I may be missing is the recommended Donkey Animation pack, since I've been running Daedra Sutra, unless one of the versions of the mods I have isn't compatible?

I've encountered another issue though, in that I can't load any saved games, so I'm going to undo everything and try a fresh install. Something probably just got messed up bad somewhere. Also, as far as MBP++ goes, I'm using the all-in-one OMOD here, so unless that's not compatible, I should be on the right version.

[/quote'] If you are using the latest version of LoversSlaveTrader, go into the ini and increase the chance to break a slave: ;;Probability of becoming sex slave in a single training session set xLSTMain.PerSSl to 10 ;;3 (0~100) Default is 3%, I use 10% (as you can see from the copy/paste from my LSTGameSettings.ini). You could temporarily increase it to 100%. You need creature training (she has plenty in your game), and you need to break her. When you talk to her after she breaks and you have the required creature training, her answer to the "Are you ready to be an Ogre's bride?" topic will change. At that point the quest should update. So, once she starts addressing your PC with the Master/Mistress, check that topic.

[/quote'] Yes you can advance the quest manually, use the console command sqt to get the quest name and up it by 1 until you get the quest update. As to breaking Lady Drad, did you talk to her? After training her somewhere between 5 to 20 times with creatures you should get the update when you talk to her. The updates do not happen automatically beyond the very first quest, you have to talk to folks. Some have a dialogue that you have to select that won't be under the orders menu.

When i try to talk to her she has " i have no greeting" error. I recommend you use tes4edit and look to see what other plugin is overwriting her dialogue, then you can either switch your load order to fix this or disable that esp so it doesn't interfere.

I use the key, the loading screen pops up, and then after a second, CTD. Anything I'm missing here?
