I'm really enjoying this mod, although I'm not that far into quests. Thanks for the hard work. I'm glad I stumbled onto this site!

 

I have two questions. 1. I read elsewhere on this thread (or maybe the LoversSlaveTrade thread) that you should release slaves once you are done with them. Does that apply to NPCs like Ardaline? I enslaved her in the Mages' Guild and trained her with a slave I happened to bring along. When she was finally "addicted to pleasure" Varoni (sp?, the quest giver) happened to show up so I just gave her to him, completed the quest, and they started screwing on the bed. Should I have released her? What about after you sell slaves? Or is this only for particular quest NPCs I haven't come across yet?

 

2. When training non-quest NPCs, it sometimes take an extraordinarily long time for them to break. I had one with 73 human and 45+ creature training progress and he still asked me "what the hell do you want?". So I tried looking at the script - is it just a random 3% chance an NPC will break every training act? (Actually I don't think that particular script is even triggered each training sex act, so it might in practice be lower.) I was surprised because the number of times the slave had sex with humans and creatures didn't seem to be taken into account. Does anyone who reads scripts better than me (and I have no scripting experience and little programming experience) know? Note: I enslaved this particular NPC by raising his disposition then offering him the Golden Mead, and using the enslave spell on him while he was unconscious.

If you think your load order is good then post it and I will take a look. Also make sure you are using slave trader v91beta and NOT v1.0.

 

Version 1.0 is bugged and while I do have a fix for it from Icecold29' date=' I have not had time to test it and to work up a list of the changes\new options.

Ok, for starters move these files at least above your bashed patch:

Next, I am assuming that you have all the other MBP required files merged into your bashed patch right (MBP 1.4a and MBP++ v98)?

 

When you built your bashed patch did you deselect all lovers esm and esp files? No lovers plugins except the sexual organs ones can ever be in your bashed patch or it will break their scripts.

 

After you have done or checked the above, try starting a new game to test if things work.

1. You don't need to do anything more for Ardaline once you have given her to her new master. Several folks "have" released slaves but it is not required and should only be attempted if you are having problems proceeding. I played all the way through all quests and did not release anyone.

 

Now for the non-quest related slaves that you take via slave trader - I do recommend releasing any that are set to respawn. I actually recommend that you do not take respawning NPC's as slaves (like bandits, necromancers and the like) as they will spawn another copy of themselves after three days if they are out of their home cell. This can lead to save game bloat and even save game corruption.

 

2. The NPC's level and stats are taken into account but I am not sure "exactly" how lovers decides how many training sessions it takes to "break them" - I do know that there is a range but how that range is determine I haven't looked into yet. Some of the training sessions with the quest related NPC's will take that many training sessions (if not more) to achieve the task. It makes zero difference "how" you enslave them on the breaking that I have ever noticed.

 

Glad you are having fun playing the plugin, it was a hell of a lot of work translating it but I think it was worth every minute.

If you don't get the key when talking to him then you either have a bad load order or a corrupted version of BG underground (provided that you have read the scroll prior to talking to him).

 

Post your load order and try installing a fresh copy of BG underground's esp to see if that fixes things.

ok i tried all of that my load order matches the one you gave me, i even started a new game still the same no training option problem, also i do seem to get some speech options with my slaves that are just random symbols (kinda like if your computer doesnt have the right language pack)!! could that be part of the problem.

 

if your all out of ideas i might just do a full reinstall

 

if i follow this installation guide will everything work

Well it really does sound like your lovers is fried. You should not be seeing any untranslated symbols with slave trader or bravil underground. I suggest you reinstall your lovers files. I am sorry that you are having such a nightmare.

@skynet424: Yea, that load order won't cut it. You can't expect to throw plugins into oblivion in any old order and think they will work. Oblivion is load order sensitive. The way that oblivion works is that if there is a conflict then the mod that is lowest in the load order "wins" the conflict.

You can't ever have any lovers plugins below these:

If you do, then you are breaking the scripts and your game won't work right.

You can't have both of these. You must only choose one or the other.

Yes, that should set you up nicely. After doing these steps, I recommend making a backup and then install lovers with PK.

I decided to try Bravil Underground as it had been sometime since I'd last played it. I've come across a bizarre issue.

 

 

 

As you can see from the screenshot, something has gone terribly wrong. Some women are missing their upper halves, some are merely headless. I've triple checked that I have all the prerequisites properly installed, and am unsure as to why this is happening. The afflicted NPC's also demonstrate the "I have no GREETING" bug.

 

A few males are also affected, notably in the "Alexi's Stolen Goods Store." While Alexei has suffered a decapitation, his companion Lana has her head but no hands to speak of.

 

I see similar NPC's aboveground from 2chLives walking about Tamriel without any sort of similar issue (and they are also quite dependent on MBP to function). Any guesses as to why this would be happening, just in the Underground?

Jackdaw, make certain you have installed MBP++ version 98a (what you are seeing is what I ran into when I first started translating the mod as I was using MBP++ v96a). The previous versions of MBP++ just don't cut it. The good news is you should be able to install version 98a right overtop of your existing MBP++ version and overwrite as necessary and be ready to go. As always, I do recommend making (and maintaining) a backup prior to making any major changes "just in case".

You need to disable: LoversAdultPlayPlus.esp

You already have the SSP version of adult play plus so this one is not needed.

 

You load order looks fine now and should work correctly with a new game.

 

 

If you have any problems with lovers, I would suggest that you drop all of the esp files down to just above your bashed patch.

Joburg won't affect training since it's a different plugin. There really isn't a way to continue training while the player is in a different cell.

Yea, as MadGod stated joburg has nothing at all to do with this mod.

 

All training must be done while you are in the cell with the NPC being trained. If you leave that cell, training stops. Best thing to do is set the training on continuous and watch a bit of TV, read a book or go grab a sandwich.

 

I am working on an update for this to speed things up a bit but it won't happen anytime soon.

oops i had already disabled it but it had crashed didn't realize it had reenabled

Well, I don't know what to tell you. Of the thousands of folks that have downloaded and played this so far, everyone else has recovered their gear. Are you certain that when you built your bashed patch that no lovers mods (other than the sexual organs ones) were enabled? If the lovers mods get included it can break their scripts. If all else fails, try dropping bravil underground under your bashed patch and revert to an earlier save game to see if that helps.
