I got a 100 bounty in Solitude, for engaging with an NPC in Falkreath.  The NPC was a boatman selling travel.  He was added by a mod that has nothing to do with sexual anything.  A screen said that I was being reported to the guard for stealing a client from Dibella's brothel in Solitude.  What did I do that constitutes stealing a client when I'm in another hold, it's from a SFW mod, and I have freelance prostitution enabled?  Is that just a feature in the mod, that I've been lucky enough to avoid in several playthroughs?  I am not a member of the brothel, but I haven't had that problem before when not being a member of the brothel.

 

Edit:  I currently have licenses to practice in Whiterun, Falkreath, Morthal, Winterhold, and Solitude. Eliana is the person reporting me, I didn't catch her last name.

That should only happen if you are in a brothel and don't work there or if you somehow get someone from the brothel to follow you out. That's the intended behavior, and I've never seen otherwise, so I'd probably need as much information as you can give me about exactly what you did to see if I can make it happen for me.

I'd acquired the licenses from Falkreath, Markarth, and Whiterun.  I went to Solitude to get the prostitution license there.  Prior to going there I hadn't engaged in any prostitution, or gone into any of the brothels.  During the quest for the Solitude license, I told my companion Jennifer (The Seven Wonders of Leyenda mod) to wait by the well in Solitude.  I got Kella, the girl at the Winking Skeever, and the girl in the temple to agree to do the party.  I didn't bribe any of them.  I went to the brothel in Solitude and paid the madame there for one of the girls to do the party 250 gold.  I didn't want to be bothered with the girl in Dragon Bridge or her family.  After finishing entertaining the ambassadors, I went to Falk Firebeard for my payment.  Then before leaving the Blue Palace, I teleported back to Lakeview Manor using the Amulet of Homecoming from the mod with the same name.   I then slept the night in Lakeview, and went out to turn a few tricks in Falkreath Hold.  First I went to the boatman at Half-Moon Mill, and got this message.  There's also a little shack up on a hill SW of Half-Moon with hunters, same message  The boatman is added by the mod Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul.

One thing I did that was different than before was use the Amulet of Homecoming before leaving the Blue Palace.  I don't normally teleport out of the castle, but leave through the door and see the other girls running away from the Palace.  I suspect that might be the problem.  I'll revert to a save before seeking the Solitude Prostitution License.  I'll try the following.  Turn a trick in Falkreath, and see if I get that message, then I'll do the Solitude quest for the license, and leave the Palace through the door.  Afterwards turn another trick in Falkreath.  If that doesn't work I'll get the girl in Dragon Bridge instead of hiring a girl from the Solitude brothel.

Okay, I did the same thing mentioned above, but this time I didn't teleport out of the Blue Palace.  instead I left the palace through the door, saw the girl from the temple run away.  After leaving Solitude, like I normally did I teleported to Lakeview, slept for 8 hours.  Then I went to Half-Moon Mill and offered my services to the boatman, there were no problems.  I'm guessing that the teleportation caused it.  Maybe the mod doesn't consider the girls to have left the palace if you don't exit through the door.  The girls had left the Palace the previous time, when I was getting the bounties, and I could interact with them.

There is something wrong with the punishment for public sex. She was at her partner's house, to which she was even given a key, but she was still reported. This is Gerdur's house in Riverwood. Sex with Ralof after such adventures seemed to suggest itself. And there was no one in the house at that time, but Gerdur accidentally came in and reported (. To be honest, I don’t understand how this system works.

It's not Ralof's house, and he's not a member of the faction that owns the house. I'm assuming your character isn't, either. I don't have any good way to support not treating it as public sex if you're with a relative who doesn't actually live in the house.

 

It's not enough to say that if the player has a key it's not public sex, because you might have stolen the key. And even if that were enough, I don't know if there's any good way to check if there's a key in your inventory that fits the lock of a room you're in right now.

Can you make it happen every time you use that teleportation? Even if TAP thinks you're still in the Blue Palace you shouldn't be getting messages about stealing clients from Dibella's Garden.

This is the very first quest, the beginning of the game. When you escape from Helgen, you are given the key to the house of Gerdur, you stay there and then go to Whiterun. There weren’t any guards there at that time, it’s unclear who this Gredur ran to complain to, and she’s also called a friend)

I understand, but I don't see any reason to think it isn't working as intended. Just because someone is a friend doesn't meant they'd be OK with you entertaining clients - or having sex with their brother where they can see you - in their house. There is no requirement for guards to be around, any more than there is a requirement for guards to be nearby for any other crime.

 

To an extent I agree that reporting you to the guards is an extreme reaction for a friend, but the reason you are getting reported is that it isn't your house and it isn't Ralof's. The fact that you are friends with the owner or have the key to the house, or that the owner is Ralof's sister, doesn't enter into it. It's not his house, and it's not yours. As far as TAP is concerned, that makes it "public" sex.

 

I know it's not strictly public, but think of it more as getting reported for having sex in an inappropriate place. It's just easier to call that "public sex".

I turned it off. There is simply nowhere to have sex until you buy a house in large cities. And in the villages sex is completely closed. Sex in taverns is unacceptable for me, there are a lot of crowds there and everyone goes and watches it, sometimes they even stand next to it and say something, if it doesn’t happen in bed, then they also stomp on top). Prostitution without a license has an iron logic, but public sex is essentially only on the street, in taverns and in the houses of jarls. I don't think private houses are public houses.

For the sake of others who might be reading this, if you are having people come and watch you during scenes in taverns, that's from something else you have. I intensely dislike spectator mods, so I can tell you with absolute certainty that TAP isn't doing that.

 

You can have sex in private houses if you are having sex with someone who owns the house. You do not have to wait until you buy a house. There are also plenty of places to hide away. You can even have sex in otherwise public places like the Bard's College when you are a member of the faction that owns the place, as long as you're near a bed. But if you're having sex outside you run the risk that someone will walk by

 

The part of this that you're not liking is that you can't go into someone else's private home and have sex there with someone who doesn't live there. That's fine. You don't have to like it, and I provided the option for you to turn it off. But aside from extremely rare situations like Ralof in his sister's house when he doesn't live there and isn't a member of the house faction, in almost all cases this simply stops you from just popping into someone's home and using it as though you own the place. You even can do that as long as you aren't seen. So all in all I simply don't see this as a big flaw in the public sex rules.

This is vanilla behavior) They simply walk around the tavern along the route given by the AI. If they call near the player, they stop to say something. They always do this, they are always intrusive, that’s why there are mods that can shut up NPCs for a long time.

 

Regarding public sex as a crime, there is no problem with that, it can be turned off. It was just unexpected.

Unfortunately, due to poor vanilla mechanics, having rented a room in a tavern, you cannot lock yourself in it, even if you close the door, the NPCs will still open it and sit next to you on a chair to stare at you, while still telling you something, so I don’t bother sex in taverns).

I've got a small issue with Jagar in Dawnstar. It's not game breaking problem, quest goes on without problems, just Jagar animation are skipped...  No idea what couse this, SexLab can't add/find this actor, there also was a thread that Jagar is not valid for this animation, whothever ainmation was triget. SSEEdit did not find any conflicts with TAP, SexLab doesn't either.  I've tryed reinstaling all SexLab connected mods, start a new game, MCM settings sets on default (tryed lots of other setups aswell), no effect...

Other actors work just fine, Jagar is one excepcion (so far). SEEN's options also works bad, animation is trigered, but "I will ride on You" option i picked strats solo masturbation of my PC animation, Jagar just watch .

Any idea what can couse that pour ugly soul to be denied of pleauserness of my gorgeous PC hot and wet womb?

Thought that is solving the issue, couse it worked on other NPCs which skips animation, but I stared a new game after uninstaling SLEN and when I get to Dawnstar situations with Jagar heppends again...

So, afterall, if someone wiser then me grt any idea?...

Does it say anything else near where it says "They are not a valid target for animation"? Those messages come from SexLab itself, but it should usually tell you exactly why it can't animate the actor. Can you see a message starting with "ValidateActor" anywhere?

Nope, but i did not follow all command text when animations works...  But as i wrote before, all other animation with Jagar works, just this one does not. And that is no biggy, just skiped anim, quest goes on further as should be. It's just annoing

I think I found  what was wrong. Had to reinstal game and all mods, but this time  without  Flower Girls  and also back to Sexlab 1.64 instead of P+. And Jagar can have fun again...

Nothing to report at the moment. I've got some really high priority other things to do right now that are keeping me from spending much time on TAP development for the time being. Hi I really like your mod, very well done job, and the story is just ?, I been using it for a while now, I notice that benjen is not asking me for sex since update 0.14 (is there a command or can i do something to fix it? "bendemandsexforplayer" dont work for me it ask me to be in the faction) I didn't mind being asked if not working because I didn't get near the brothel to being ask in the first place, also i would like to see if there is a form to increase the approach from the clients, i like more to be approched than "ask for it"

I may be misunderstanding you, but if you don't work for Benjen he will not demand sex from you. He used to do that before 0.14, but that was a bug and not intended behavior.

 

I have it on my list to increase the chances for approach from clients, but I don't have an exact idea when I will get around to doing that. Other people have asked for that, though, and I will look into it eventually.

Dont worry english is not my native language so maybe the misunderstanding might be my fault, I meant that benjen is not demanding sex, even if I working for him, first I though it was because it was an unlockeable feature only IF you do one or two missions for him but  nop, nothing.

 

Also Im glad you have that option on your plans, may I sugest a toggable option for it also a time per approach like the one in public whore??
