Honestly, I suspected as much. While not as "full featured" as BV, Sacrosanct is much more lightweight, and offers quite a bit for vampire players. Perhaps give that a try.

 

I did find that when I was testing this with BV, that the BV version I tested with was 8.2 Dunno if anything significant changed with 8.3, but that may have something to do with it. If you really want to use BV, maybe grab 8.2 and try that instead.

I got BV and Sacrosanct working together perfectly after a little experimenting and realizing that I needed to re-install race comparability.  Hell I even got 3bbb working with it after reading that whole override folder situation.

I do have one question though, is there any easy way to get rid of the long nails?  They're just not for me.  Thanks.

looks like it was removed. the flying and all it's requirements are what was shown. you will need the fnis pcea first. then you overwrite one of the preinstalled mods with flying.

Is there a specific place in the load order this needs to be?

 

Cause after using the "I am a vampire" start in Alternate Start, I have only some of the powers from Better Vampires and feeding does nothing to either advance my vampire rank or restore blood.

it's the spells that restore your blood, magika, and stam. Claws of Molag is a grab (useful if it's the last one or you can grab and throw the closest attacker away).

Soul Burn is your drain spell, that is what restores.. well.. everything.. 

summon mixed army calls a 25lvl gargoyle, a 15? bone archer and a lvl 5 deathhound to act as a small army. (you can summon 2 groups) or summon gargoyles for 3 gargoyles, clattering bones for 3 archer types and deathhounds for 3 of those. in your not quite shouts section you also have wings of coldharbour which is flying. (it's slow but instead of needing to go around the mountain, you can just go up)

when you feed, how many different feed options do you have? (i have like 5) i also use better vampires AND sacrosant, 2 of the feed options are for sacrosant (feed and lethal feed) i have 2 options that just say feed (one is the normal feed, the other is for player succubus quest) feed DD (feed deadly drain(another mod)), if it still doesn't work, in Better Vampires under maitenance you can reinfect yourself, wait 3 game days and it will kick off with the in-game vampire needs.

I only have the one "feed" option. I only use one vampire mod at a time, since using Better Vampires and Sacrosanct together is guaranteed to mess something up down the line. And considering I have a tendency to redo characters when something breaks, I don't risk using multiple mods overhauling the same thing.

 

I'll try the debug menu and see if that fixes anything.

Do we enter without problems or are we attacking?
Does Valerica continue to regard us as a half vampire? A bastard?
Where does she see us as a thoroughbred vampire? Like a girl from Coldharbour?
Does Harkon change his speech when he sees us?

And finally, I saw on the mod page that we can transmit the Sanguinare vampiris to someone. How do we do it and can we do it on everyone?

A simple banal and vulgar vampire, a master vampire, okay.
But a vampire lord like Harkon?
It’s still not the random Joe. He is one of the most powerful vampire lords.
In addition Serana and her mother are daughter of coldharbour, so, if a simple daughter of coldharbour can do it, Serana and Valerica could have done it both.
However, this is not the case. Valerica went to hide in the Cairn of the Soul and Serana was locked in a coffin in the darkval cave and it took the appearance of the Dovakhiin or adventurer to defeat Harkon.

Well, Perhaps a big picture concept..

Vampires come from Molag....  I would assume there are no vampires that could best Molag.... (i dont have proof, but he is a daedric lord)

 

I dont think it a  stretch to say "any daedric lord" could beat any vampire?

 

Even if it is, perhaps Molag got tired of Harkon and wanted a chance of scenery  hence empowers you to best harkon?

 

Or

 

substitute any daedric lord just wanting to screw with Molag by having his champion bested?

First. Serana and Valerica are not BORN as a vampire. They are closer to the adopted step-siblings. Think Blade. Born as a vampire straight out of her momma. Then goes through the ritual. So how do you vampire a vampire?

One way, and you can see where me and trykz had this discussion some. She is a direct DAUGHTER of Molag. If you run with that, Molag performs incest on his own daughter in her own ritual. So rather than getting a single drop from molag, she shares HALF of her DNA with him. She was raised in coldharbour to age. She would have had the benefit of being taught by her father, in that she would be cruel, heartless, and absolutely unforgiving of any transgressions. She is the closest Molag Bal would have to walking Nirn and wreaking havoc on everyone and everything. She is the Daughter of Domination. Her spells reflect that. she can rip a dragon out of the sky and keep said dragon pinned to the ground while she drains it of life. she can call upon a virtual army of gargoyles, henchmen, and dogs. And if they die. Just summon another group. I think from an RP view Sillius might have the right of it. Harkon sat on his ass for thousands of years doing dick all. Molag got tired of his shit. Enter his heir apparent. Daughter can single handedly destroy the entire Dawnguard, She can decimate Harkon and the entire court without even chipping a nail.

She IS a born vampire from Coldharbour. Daddy may not have been Molag. I don't know the canon on are vampires sterile in skyrim. Her Daddy may have been one of the Daedric servants of Molag who diddled a vampire. Either way her DNA is not ever found on Nirn normally. If you go with this, Her mom was a prisoner in Coldharbour, did the deed with a guard. Got knocked up, had the girl, girl grows up in the same prison her mom is in, Mom shows her how to be compassionate. Goes through the ritual. Molag sees (i mean he has to know his guards rape the prisoners) an opportunity to show Harkon just how much of a pussy he is, he allows her to go through the ritual (maybe even requests her) she survives and suddenly shows up in Nirn without a memory, without a clue, and starving for the first time in her life. (no need to feed in oblivion except for pleasure). it's however you choose to play it. It's an open game.

OR.

She is Molags Daughter, he performs the ritual on her because he does in his own way love her deeply, and he pampered her. And Malacath and Clavicus gave him shit for it. So to throw a big ass finger in their faces he sends her to Nirn to show them she isn't a little bitch.. Again.. You choose how she came about, You choose how she came to be on nirn. She has no memory from before the end of the ritual.

Pretty good, I think you keep forgetting one thing.. BORN AS A VAMPIRE... not turned into. has always been one. from birth. Possibly the only one in existence. Probably thousands of years old and ages very very slowly.

When I use it on a dead npc or a dead monster, it says "... to resist Redemption".
