So she's not so much 'aware' of being in a game as that she is worried that, because she is effectively a brain in a jar hooked up to machines, if the technology that was used can actually be trusted. Couple that with memories of experiments on the body when that was being created and you get a hotch-potch of insecurities and trauma's.

 

Saying 'no' to Ivy's questions (a lot) might have consequences on how she views you.

I' sure telling her you love her and she is real to you should calm her ?

Whenever I tell Ivy to sit somewhere or to stay. I can't get her to follow me again. When I use the Follow command she just won't. She just decides to teleport to me when I get to far away, then she just stands in place till I am to far away again.

Indeed, after a while with Ivy you should just 'get' what she asks (e.g just to be there for her and support her in her whims).

Check if you have any mods that interfere with companion behavior, AFT, LIGA of companions, etc..etc..

I am using Unlimited Companion Framework. I'll disable it, and let you know if that fixed it.

Disabled Unlimited Companion Framework and it works perfect now. So Unlimited Companion Framework seems to be mildly incompatible, at least if you ever need to have Ivy wait somewhere. I don't really even use UCF anymore after I got Ivy. Ivy is way more useful in combat that a pile of 5 normal followers that are downed in a few shots.

Pretty much this. I never understood why so many people insist on having more than one follower at any time. I mean it can go both ways: Either it makes the game way too easy since you have a small army helping you kill things, or it makes the game needlessly difficult with micromanaging your teammate's gear, health, or God-forbid their dumb AI that causes them to block doors or go missing. I suspect Bethesda already knew this so that's why their games tend to just have one recruitable companion at a time. (Here's hoping they improve this with Creation 2, meaning Starfield, TES6, and future games.) Granted, it's too bad that the current vanilla companions are dumb and not advanced like Ivy, but at least they came fairly close with Serana in Skyrim. (She's even better with mods.)

I use UCF only to pump multiple companions at the same time.And he doesn 't bother me at all ...Ivy behaves and speaks exactly the same as without this fashion.

Hey, sorry ahead of time but this is my first real post and not entirely sure the rules or etiquette. Been watching Reginald's stream on Discord and all the hard work and attention to detail has been really inspiring. So I figured I'd work on Ivy too in my own little way by creating a character preset for her when 6.0 comes out. I'm finally done working on it (and even got into experimenting with ENBs!) so I figured I'd share it. Hope you enjoy!

I've been waiting a long time for a new FO4 playthrough, since the last Ivy update. Waiting for the human voice is all I'm waiting for. Now maybe I can finally go to Nuka World for the first time & with Ivy. For now, I just keep waiting.

Yea he literally could have just pushed a voice update. So we wait ever patiently, this next version gonna be hella worth the wait though

Hey all. I've been in the hospital the past week and am recovering from a heavy lung infection (not covid).

I'm slowly getting back in the action tho. So: ❤️

Thanks for all the support. We really ARE getting closer and closer. Content wise, most of it's done. Now we are waiting for recordings and I'm running through the quests and am basically just testing, testing, testing. I'm at home with a battery of medicine and outside of a light cough, everything looks good. I have a couple of weeks off to recuperate.

 

Many people have asked me to explain Ivy's mental makeup so I made this handy little map, based on Carl Jung's 12 archetypes. If you want to know more about this, google Carl Jung's archetypes.

So I recently downloaded your mod and was very excited to try it, alas with this new reinstall and modding of FO4 I found that it conflicts with XDI (and thus Just Business). I considered waiting my entire play through for 6.0 but I was wondering whats the chances 6.0 will conflict with Sim Settlers Conqueror or SS2? Your mod looks like its had a ton of passion poured into it. You should be proud of your dedication.
