This happened to me once too. I went back up the hill and retraced my steps, I tuned into WIVS radio, listened to Ivy's count down, then the quest flashed up on my screen and the voucher was there.

Hello, still loving Ivy after all this time and incredible that all of the new advancements in machine learning are giving you new opportunities.

One thing that's getting me though is the teleporting, I like that she teleports over but the effects are driving me crazy. Is there any way to disable? I think she uses the vanilla teleport effect so I'd be happy to disable that as well.

 

Edit: Actually it was in her explosions data, I was just able to remove the sound and light effect and it has all of the great functionality withou the added noise.

Hi All..was hoping somene might help me to get IVY 6.0 to start on my PC...I have tried to load on new game a few times using Vortex..with no other mods enabled....to no avail, just wont load..any suggestions? have been looking forward to exploring the Commenwealth with her....is it cause am using Vortex (no probs with the other mods from NMM and Lovers Lab) am at my wits end..please help...,

Make sure the mod is actually enabled. Can't say anything else without more information.

I noticed she has a strong dislike for me using power armour and hates me every time I put a suit on. I am very new to fallout 4 (first playthough) and I am unsure what this "ivy hated that message" means. I would rather my companion does not hate me for using the armour is there a way to ease her into contentment with my usage of the armour? Before you ask me to simply not use the armour I do already use it sparingly to preserve my cores but also because I am playing a stealthy character but some encounters are just too hard for me without the extra protection.

Without spoiling too much, the reason why she hates it is due to story purposes. I don't know how far you are with her relationship yet, but at some point she's supposed to reveal to you as to why she doesn't like power armor. I will admit that I am curious to see what happens if you keep it up though. Like will she literally stop being my companion? I've always wanted to try a BoS power-armor wearing playthrough with Ivy, but I've never gotten around to doing it lol.

So that means she will never be ok with the armour?

Ok so I have opened Ivy up in xedit to try and figure out a a way to remove the power armour hate and first of all I just want to get it out there that I really do enjoy the mod and I mean no offence by modifying it.

 

Now I am new to xedit but from what I can tell is that in vanilla the relationship value changed by hate is controlled by a global variable called CA_Event_Hates and is a Float type. When I took a look into Ivy I noticed that under global I can't find any Float variables. I did find a CA_Ivy_Hated under the message section but that seems to not be something that changes values.

 

Could someone please give me a hand with this I would be very thankful.

It's just a message for lore purporse and has 0 influence on your relationship with Ivy.

What did some of us do ... installed armour mods that have almost as high protection values as power armour.

?

When I started writing my Fallout 4 blog story a few months ago and Ivy plays an important role in it - I went very deep into her backstory.

(we are both "constructs" of the Institute - are specifics of their respective stages of development - so have a common thread of fate).

Not to put spoilers ... it takes quite a long time to find out the reason for Ivy's reaction.

Try to find the entrance to her place, it's very close to Vault 111.

Move companionIvy_quest.esp to the bottom of your load order.

Hi Reginald. I just started FO4 a couple of weeks ago for the first time (going through a backlog of steam games from sales, you get it I'm sure), and I added Ivy partway through my first game after I maxed out Piper and Cait - there is still enough content to build affinity with all the DLC and extra mods floating around. I was blown away by the amount of thought and effort that went into this mod. I just completed Stein's Construct (got the good ending without looking at the spoilers, but it did take me a few tries to avoid those damn lights). She's one of the most immersive companion experiences I've had in any kind of RPG - really excellent job. 

 

I mean, I have notes, too, but it's all personal taste or such nitnoid stuff that it's not worth mentioning. A truly monumental effort. Thank you for the experience.
