Sexlab Survival Special Edition Support Thread.

Recommended Posts

Hello! I have a rather... strange problem. And i was wondering, if anyone maybe encountered it: any SL survival dialogue doesn't appear in the game.
I go to the npc, and can start the conversation. I see the animation for said npc, i see that he is talking. But there is nothing. No message, no dialogue box. I can after a short reply reply to what he "said". And i can see my options normally, but nothing else. And it happens only with Sl survival related things.
Like the toll collectors, for example.

Edit: what i mean, is that there are no subtitles when npc's are speaking. And that it happens only when npc's are talking about things related to Sl survival.

So how is the Fondle feature supposed to work with this? It's checked in the MCM, but it doesn't appear as an option for any creatures.

I am using a Wabbajack pack called Dungeons and Deviousness, so it might be a conflict with the pack, but I was hoping someone could tell me what to expect. The question has been asked in the support Discord for this list, but it never got a reply.

Does the Wabbajack D&D build have MNC? and/or the creature requirements?

Also (I just reread the feature info), it only works on horses atm.

It does have More Nasty Critters (I think that was what you were referring to) and the Creature Framework. The Creature Framework MCM has MNC chosen for all creatures in its MCM.

edit: That's fine if it only works on horses. That's what I was trying to manage.

okay so you have all the requirements, and you have horse animations installed.

You have checked that Sexlab has creature animations checked? and creature content in the SLS MCM is also checked.

All of that is set and you cannot engaged with any horses?

Allow Creature Animations in Sexlab is checked. And Creature Events is checked, but Animal Breeding was not.

I did check that, but I still have no option to Fondle. My only option is to Steal a horse because I can't buy one.

are you sneaking? I think you have to be sneaking

Yep, tried that.

okay, let me look at a few things (I am not that familiar with that feature) and I will have follow up questions. MM1 monitors this forum, but I haven't seen him active the last couple of days. (He might be doing Christmas stuff or just a hiatus)

Just for reference what version of SLS does D&D install?

Hi there! I'm having a lot of trouble finding an up to date version of PapyrusUtil and Skyrim Script Extender (both are being told to me that they're outdated versions, and Nexus doesn't seem to have any newer one that I can find.)
Could someone please help me in finding these files?

Usually that error happens when one of the mods that also include those utilities are overwriting the stand alone version from the Nexus.

If you are using MO, or MO2 make sure that papyrusUtil is as low as you can put it on the left side and nothing is overwriting it. If you are using NMM or doing manual install re-install the latest nexus version and make sure it overwrites.

I have serana and sofia as followers. They respond completely normally as followers. However, SLS thinks I have no followers. And using the mcm option for updating escorts does not find either of them. Are followers using the default follower framework required?

Custom followers are a total mixed bag. Are you using any kind of follower overhaul like EFF or NFF?

You may want to post this over on the main SLS forum it is a functionality issue not related specifically to SE. MM1 has responded here in the past but he is more likely to see it on the main forum.

Question regarding the Bikini Armor MCM activation.
According to the guide, adding SL Survival.esp as Master then manual edit by adding the Keyword, along with a SSEEdit Merge Patch to allow armor to be added onto the list.

I have tested using TAWOBA Remastered by SunJeong and PUMPKIN both via manual edit and using the stickied ESP from the main page yet both failed to enable the MCM activation.
I also tested using the custom patch given by one of the users here yet it still failed and yes I have installed the requirements as well. The only time it worked is when I use Nexus Nisenataka's TAWOBA with the given modified ESP (haven't done it manually yet).

So regarding my early failures, am I missing something? Do I need Nisenataka's mod to use SunJeong's and Pumpkin's TAWOBA?

I did get an error each time when building a SSEEdit merge patch saying its not compatible with SE. Could it be that's the reason? I'm using ver 4.0.3

Yes you do need one more thing.

You need the json file from this post.

Sun's remastered mod changes the esp name for TAWOBA and Pumpikin's is of course a fully different mod all together. The chest are populated using information from a file called BikiniArmor.json and that is what is needed to be changed to make the distribution functionality work. The Keywords just identify the armors as Bikini to the mod for the purposes of applying the curse (or more specifically NOT applying the curse. ?)

I've got an odd Bikini Curse bug going on.  Skyrim SE.  I've got Sexlab Survival SE 0.629 installed, along with Sunjeong's TAWOBA REMASTERED 4.1 CBBE SE.  I've replaced Sunjeong's esp file with the keyword modified one from the SLS download page, and I've replaced the SLS BikiniArmors.json file as suggested in earlier posts.  I've built the Bikini list.

In case it matters, I have a Long Term Bikini License, just purchased, I'm primarily testing with Wolf Boots III (because I don't like being barefoot).

I can wear Bikini Armor with no trouble (not just the boots)

If I'm naked, I can view and use the quests/general stats/system menu with no trouble

If I'm wearing Bikini Armor, viewing the quests screen triggers the Bikini Curse as soon as I return.  Huh?!?!?

Taking off the boots doesn't stop the curse, but I don't know if that's how the curse is supposed to work or not.

I'd appreciate if someone had some insight into how to fix this problem, it's kind of disruptive to have to remember to strip naked any time I want to activate a quest or do a full save.  Thank you very much.

When you close the map and the curse triggers, can you go into the MCM under the license 1 tab look for the bikini armor information and there will be a section that shows what is triggering the curse. What is in that 'Curse triggered by' section?

Spoiler

ScreenShot612.thumb.png.08fd634d5417e1ecd5f92068ee6397f6.png

FYI- the reason you can't wear the bikini boots is the default for SLS is to require heels and most bikini boots do not have heels. Also the default is for heel height of 5 which is also a little too much. These heights are actually offsets used by Racemenu High heels and while they are the best possible gage of how high the heel is, they really are not actually a gage of how high a heels is. I usually turn it down to 3.5. But it can also be turned off if you want to use Bikini armor boots.

Thank you for the quick reply.  It doesn't happen when the map comes up, it happens when the Quest window comes up, the very window I use to go check it now.

Test #1, checking it before I see a problem, in case it's triggered on window entry:  "Curse triggered by: None - None"

Test #2, after I see a problem, no changes: "Curse triggered by: WOLF BOOTS III - 3B0080e1"

Test #3, after a reload and turning off the heels requirement: Curse not triggered - YAY!!!

So it was working as configured, but it wasn't checking the heels requirement until I first exit the Quest window for some reason.  OK.  I can work with that.

I certainly wouldn't mind wearing some nice heels, if there were some that were Bikini License compatible that won't get confiscated as clothing in Slaverun cities with no Clothes license.  Do you have any suggestions from inside TAWOBA Remastered or another accessible mod?

But heels or not, you've found my problem, and I can fix it and continue my twisted game with Bikini goodness.  Thank you very very much.

Boots don't require the bikini armor tag. If you have HH unchecked you can wear any boot, if you do have it checked you can wear any high heel as long as it meets the Racemenu High heel offset requirement (which I recommend 3.5 as the setting instead of the default 5)
