Yes you can and no there isn't, the mod will detect it's been updated and reload its scripts.

Awesome, thank you, BTW, I love your mods, such a great addition to my gameplay, thank you so much. I wish other mods were as easy to update as yours are.

 

Oh, in case anyone ever asks or is curious about CWSS, Get Diry comes with a patch that disables the buffs form CWSS and fixes all the conflicts so the two mods work perfectly together. I've been using the two for a long time and it works really well, not a single crash. I the load order I've been using with great success has been CWSS, Get Dirty, Dirty Sex, Violate, Purgatory, and then Get Dirty No Cleanliness Patch for CWSS. So far it's been flawless and fantastic for about 3 yrs now, so again, THANK YOU for making some truly amazing mods that have a permanent place in my load order. 😁

Nup it's not cleaning Ellen or Heather they are both super dirty still even when I shower. I might just have to turn companion dirt off. I'm not even sure Piper or Preston are getting dirty anyway, it's just Heather and Ellen and only Heather washes. Ellen just follows me around with her death face on so every time I talk to someone I turn around and she's right there with that death glare and says "How's my best friend in the whole world?!" or "I swear there are no more crazy Ellens out there" and I'm starting to get scared 🤣. Send help lmfao.

AAF Dirty Sex only knows about the follower that Get Dirty knows about.  And Get Dirty only supports a single follower that uses the vanilla follower system.

 

Heather doesn't use the vanilla follower system so I'm not sure how she would ever get dirty from Get Dirty in the first place.  I suspect the same is true of Ellen though I've never really looked at that mod.

 

Are you using a muilti follower mod or some other mod that allows non-vanilla companions to get dirty?

Yep I'm using Liga of My Companions, it's pretty light weight and as far as multi companion mods go it's had no errors or crashes (one exception being that Bethesda left Kelloggs shit everywhere and being a dumbass I "examined" the sleeping bag accidentally when trying to find a sleeping spot for the night before reaching diamond city which triggered dogmeat running off to the "next spot" and that broke EVERYTHING until I entered Fort Hagen.....since I shot Kellogg no issues with companions!).

 

Anyway everyone is now getting dirty.....I have to go all the way home to find a shower to test if everyone gets clean also. It would be SO amazing if you could add it for swimming OR soap also, as those are more freely available in the commonwealth and sometimes all you have access too especially if abducted (and my game it takes me an hour to get home because it's stupidly dangerous even with 8 followers it's rough but I LOVE IT  ha ha).

 

Also if you're looking to expand this would be interesting to have a clean up mechanic for human resource and dairy framework type situations - dirty slaves could lower satisfaction based on price so providing cleaning objects for them could be interesting. It could also affect their submission rate and what not. Dirty slaves could produce less products in the end due to it being spoiled.

That's what the Wash Out That Cum mod is supposed to do, though More Ways of Washing presumably handles it as well?

 

Neither AAF Dirty Sex nor Scripted Cum Overlays is a washing mod.

Where did you find the No Cleanliness Patch for CWSS ? I cant find it anywehre?

Asking this here purely because the Get Dirty mod page has been locked for comments, and this is an ancillary issue related to this mod as well. My Get Dirty textures/overlay appears briefly on resetting them via the Get Dirty MCM (my character is at level "filthy"), but then immediately disappear. Other overlays appear to be working just fine. Is there any way I can fix this? Obviously if the overlays aren't appearing, the entire point of using GD and this mod as well are gone.
