I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but facegen files with this seem to have custom hair and no textures for them. I think they're maybe KS? But the textures these facegen files want aren't in the typical KS texture folder. Instead, they're in places like "textures\VHR\MElf\blackout.dds" or "textures\actors\character\character assets\botox\hair\sky120.dds"

I assume the latter requires the Botox mod, which I really don't want, and the former, I have no clue where it's from. I suppose I can grab the textures from botox, but what about the ones I don't know where they're from? There are no listed requirements for hair textures...

I'm using the merged version, if that makes a difference, though it doesn't list any texture requirements that i can see either.

No, this mod doesn't use any custom textures for the characters. Can you check if its from some other mod instead? Also, unless you unzipped the BSA, you would not see the assets anyways, so its likely that you downloaded the appearance mod which is from a different mod author.

Npcs included in this mod won't follow me, there is no follow me dialogue option and they just stand where they are. I was able to get the Serana Dialogue Addon version of Serana to follow me but that's it. I use NFF so I guess it might be incompatible? But it looks others in here have used it so idk. I had to teleport Argis to me every cell to finish his quest bc he wouldn't follow me and now the kid near hunningbrew who starts the main quest won't follow. I'm able to talk to him and after I tell him I'll take him to my home the dialogue just stays the same and he won't follow.

I just finished the "New Home for Homeless" quest and collected my reward, but there's no dialogue to recruit him as a follower.

Interacting with him triggers "generic" dialogue, but it doesn't even open a dialogue menu.

I use NFF and that works for me. It seems that the issue lies with your installation

Opposite problem here: Fattig's following me everywhere rather than staying put with the woman he really wanted in the house I provided to them.

I do have the fan of my character following me around now but there isn't any dialogue option for him to follow me, he just does on his own. I still don't have an option for Pirve(the kid near honningbrew) to follow me. I also did the quest with the homeless man behind bannered mare and he has an option to follow me so I don't get it. Certain npcs just seem to be broken for whatever reason.

There's a subquest where you have to talk to solitude residents and show that "fattig's your new master" but it doesnt show in the journal. That may be why he's following you

Irrc you have to threaten him to leave after asking "Are you chasing me?" to get him to stop.

But I have a question does having aaatohendingbad 101 get some unique dialogues or something? For example Adrianne I got a dialogue for her to make something painful for PC. Is it this mod or Public Whore? If its this mod does some more dialogues like that exist??

I don't think he was following me when I first got that, only after I brought Elizabeth.

I'll try telling more people, but honestly I'm tempted to slot the bastard and brush him under an iceberg.

I could be remembering this wrong, but I don't think Pirve is supposed to be a follower.
And if you're referring to getting him to follow you to a place to live, I don't think you really need to.

Just "adopt" him and wait a few days

I think any patch that doesn't match the update version would break the game somehow. I couldn't figure out why, and couldn't be bothered to.

No it isn't included in the Elevenlabs patches. It's a separate patch that edits the dialogue to better match the target language. The grammar patches don't work with the newer versions as Alturistix pointed out. So don't use the grammar patches unless you are on an older version of the mod.

Domi told me: "Now we penetrate your dirty peasant holes," but the animation that loaded was me and her brother taking turns to cane her arse.

Yes, check your versions (merged not combinable with non-merged) and disable any mod's patches. Also, if you change a voice type on that is not supported by followers, an NPC will lose the vanilla follower framework. An NPC can also refuse to follow if they have a low disposition.

Only with Forgotten Regret's NPCs. Adrianne's dialog is like something out of the Real and False Heroes quest.

Yes, the mod is guilty of this. There are mods that allow you to choose animations and position of the actors.
