Is there a guide or walkthrough? I feel like I always hit a wall and don’t know how to naturally get to the ending quests without the console commands.

@DSHVTheres a problem with Scratcher's Follow script. Instead of removing AAADirtyStone on follow dialogue for the follow package to trigger, another stone is added instead. The follow package requires the stone to be removed from the inventory so that causes an issue that scratcher can never follow

 

I switched the scripts around and that seems to have fixed that.

For an idea you could have a dominate wolf/husky follower that views you like its bitch, the more it mounts you or the more degrading acts you do for him (like drinking his piss) the stronger he gets (like more health, more damage). And at the higher levels he could get abilities like taunting/drawing aggro to protects his bitch, reduce damage for enemies its surrounded by.

By the beard of Talos! After over 4 months of editing, I have finally completed the second, more thorough pass for my better English patch.  I went through each line of dialogue a second time, to make this, which is as complete as I can make it.  I am now happy to share it with the community.  I also made sure to verify that it actually loads this time before uploading it here.

 

There are 3 files here.  The English patch is what most users need.  The Action patch is the English patch with all action sequences removed.  It's included only for use with voice generation programs, such as 11 labs, so that NPCs do not inadvertently narrate what they're doing. I'm also including a pre zipped CSV file for xVASynth for someone else to make as it would take my potato of a computer months to generate all the voice files and I would have no way to upload them to share.

 

A few caveats:

1. I couldn't edit the text for books as those are not easily done in xedit.

2. I made it a point to assign any missing racial voices to NPCs so khajiit should sound like khajiit but without playing through the entirety of the mod and meeting every NPC in context, I have no idea if it's intentional for some npcs to have different voice types or none at all.

3. Speaking of missing voice types, many NPCs are missing voice types and I'm not sure what that will do to them with voice generation, or if it just defaults to something.

4. I only learned of onomatopoeias when I was about 80% complete with this and actively tried to incorporate those sounds at that tine.

5. This is only for the base TOH mod. I didn't touch any of the DLC files.

 

What I did:

1. Added punctuation to every line, which is mostly just periods to player said sentences as this matches how the game delivers these lines.

2. Localized the dialogue for western English, as much as I could.  So on a tip from this forum, "minet" should now be properly referred to as "blowjob."

3. Cut or moved every line of dialogue so that sentences are not cut off in a dialogue box.  It's fine when this was all text but with voice generation it grates on the ears to have choppy sentences.

4. Changed all past tense to present tense as it made sense as it's happening right now.  So it's no longer Bruiser punched you, it's now Bruiser punches you.

5. I added the Oxford comma where ever it was needed.  I'm not sure why, but failing to see the Oxford comma so often hurt my soul a bit.

 

Please note that this is all open permissions as it wouldn't have even existed without @DSHV's mod in the first place.  So feel free to contribute or update this as you please.  It would be nice if someone could finish localization of the mod's books or assign proper voice types to the missing NPCs.  And of course, I'd be nice if someone could generate these voice files.  Please and thank you!

If you want to work just with the text in mods, the ESP-ESM Translator or xTranslator are better choices than xEdit. While, yes, these are mostly used for translations, that isn't the only thing they can be used for. In the end, all you do is edit the text of the .esp, nothing more, nothing less. After all, .esps are language agnostic outside the MCMs. If you plan on continuining your text work, I'd suggest you take a look at them. They make your life so much easier.

i don't know last time i tried prison overhaul it was a year ago? beside i want to ask you, before when pc escapes prison cell and got imprisoned outcome again pc isn't sent to the same cell again that got prisoners from TOH dlc! or did you edit that part too.

Drat. I wish I knew of those earlier!  But this took up almost 4 months of my life so I think I'm totally done now.  This edit isn't perfect, but I think I made a good base to help folks enjoy this wonderful mod.  And now, I'd like to actually play the game again =D.

just a thought. I know you have a bit of a strip in your mod (Solitude), but would it be possible to make it so that you couldn't just put your clothes back on aftert, and possibly that the npc mocked you when you got stripped?  just a little while after! just like in this mod!

This mod is pretty good but the dialogue translation needs some work, the english text ranges from laughable to incomprehensible

Try my patch a few posts above this one.  I spent 4 months combing through each line of dialogue to localize it!  It's probably not perfect but it should be a much easier read.

Lmao I was just editing the books earlier. I'll try and see if I can include your patch as well, but since I also include some small bugfixes on my own(that I dont remember lol), I probably wont be able to work on yours.

I guess we could use a plugin merge or something like that, but as I said, Im doing this in my freetime and it'll be painful to figure out a way to keep just my BOOK entries from the patch. If you can figure out a merge that allows you to select just the type of INFO/BOOK to carry over then let me know, and I'll post my ESP when im done

That's pretty easy to do, I think. In xedit, you can just copy all the book entries into my esp. Its only a few clicks.

eating abscess is a case for psychopath, 

mod made buildings standing at the road in the landscape with content to avoid

quests in heavy dungeons right at the beginning of the mod, nothing for newbies
