Fun mod. Request, if you plan to add more?

I was thinking of npc called "Robbie" that you/and everyone other character can tell to simply fuck off, and is a bitch of every guard in Whiterun.

I kinda wanted to try this mod with the English patch, but I noticed it won't work with the merged version because the .esp has a different name.

 

Does anyone know what all is in the merged version? If I have to choose I'd at least like to know what's what. If possible. ?

@DSHV the better english link on the page links to the previous post with older version instead of the finished patch.
While I'm at it, thanks a lot to the english patch author, lovely to see this addon finished.

Just a note for posterity: While messing around with xVASynth, it turns out that dialogue in brackets is already ignored. So my "action patch" where I went in and painstakingly removed those wasn't actually necessary for me to do.  It might have been helpful though with other types of voice patching though, but I wouldn't know.

Guys, about the quest in Thalmor Headquarters, Solitude. 

I have process to the stage where "spy on stormclocks", there seems to be nothing change and with or without the note doesn't seems to progress. It is not finish or just some bug? Or did i miss something?

Lmao I think there were several Bruiser Dialogues that aren't in square brackets.

Ah, you're right. I remember several lines where I had to add those in.  I also remember changing Bruiser's gender neutral pronoun to it's name so it's no longer "Orc hits you" and instead, "Bruiser hits you."  It sounds better and works for bother versions of Bruiser.  So hopefully this exercise was useful for folks.

When you ask Hundal in the Kennel if he wants sex with a woman and he talks about sharing it with his dogs no animation starts. The consol just shows an error that some thread hadn't closed properly. I have the right animations installed.

How can the old hunter Sebastian but a chastity belt on the player but not notice that she is not a dog? And the ZAP belt is missing textures.

3. Speaking of missing voice types, many NPCs are missing voice types and I'm not sure what that will do to them with voice generation, or if it just defaults to something.

4. I only learned of onomatopoeias when I was about 80% complete with this and actively tried to incorporate those sounds at that tine.

5. This is only for the base TOH mod. I didn't touch any of the DLC files.

 

What I did:

1. Added punctuation to every line, which is mostly just periods to player said sentences as this matches how the game delivers these lines.

2. Localized the dialogue for western English, as much as I could.  So on a tip from this forum, "minet" should now be properly referred to as "blowjob."

3. Cut or moved every line of dialogue so that sentences are not cut off in a dialogue box.  It's fine when this was all text but with voice generation it grates on the ears to have choppy sentences.

4. Changed all past tense to present tense as it made sense as it's happening right now.  So it's no longer Bruiser punched you, it's now Bruiser punches you.

5. I added the Oxford comma where ever it was needed.  I'm not sure why, but failing to see the Oxford comma so often hurt my soul a bit.

 

Please note that this is all open permissions as it wouldn't have even existed without @DSHV's mod in the first place.  So feel free to contribute or update this as you please.  It would be nice if someone could finish localization of the mod's books or assign proper voice types to the missing NPCs.  And of course, I'd be nice if someone could generate these voice files.  Please and thank you!

how do i install this?

Hey, i played many times with this mod. Now i reinstalled skyrim and i cannot see any names of npcs from the mod and only [][] symbols. I changed my ingame voice/texts from german into english via the skyrim.ini. Everything works but this mod. Has someone experienced similar problems in the past?

Sounds like you installed the SE version of the mod over the LE version of Skyrim.

I was having the same problem with AE too, I realized I passed the cap on plug ins awhile ago and got my mods back down to 255, so that might be something to look into, I also switched to the merged patch by throat deep here

 

 

So either of these things may fix the square letters issue.

Hey, thanks for the answer. I have only 190esp/esm that was not the problem. But the merged version fixed it, thanks :).

Some feedback - Pursuit of Shadow - Darkwater Crossing. Can you edit the quest so the amount of forced sex scenes is reduced? I was pulled into a Sexlab scene, no less than 7 times, without any option to skip them or pass.

 

I'm currently at Windhelm and the quest is getting more detailed and actually funny too!

Maybe. It uses the original, base mod as a master which is renamed in the merged version. So you'd either have to rename the merged version back to the base mod, which shouldn't affect anything but could if any formids were changed, or try and open this up with the original mod then forward any changes into the merged version.  Really, the easiest thing to do might just be to make a new merged version using it.  It's easy to do with the various merge tools out there.

I told him something mean but the text went too fast, I couldn't read it. Screen went black, later I found Sigmund dead in the market. I assume that thug killed him? I got some of my money back from Sigmund but I expected a note or something to tell me where to go next, the quest didn't advance for me. It bugged out or do I need to do something?

^ This just happened to me... since I had loaded an early save where test the 'breathe' of Sourmilk's quest, I knew it was Nightgate. BUT, there is no dialogue to ask Hadring... just the special drink... ?

Ok.... well the Hired Thugs option does not work for Sour-milk. Only the marriage or wife swap options work.
