I presume that you mean Serana.  There's a Serana mod I want to try, too, but I'm putting it off until I'm done exploring ToH because ToH makes so many changes to so many quests/NPC's that I have to believe that there's either a conflict, already, or there will be one in an upcoming update. 

 

I'd say that there's enough content already present or in the pipeline for this mod to make up for any sacrifice you must make with other, incompatible mods you must put on hold for a while.  My own love for the mod, however, appears to be primarily unrequited.  My game is at an absolute impasse due to bugs-- experienced uniquely by me, it would seem-- that have shut down all progress.  All I can do, now, is keep checking back to see if anyone offers a suggestion for finishing or bypassing the quests that have stopped me cold. ? I suppose I can try the incompatible mods at such time as I finally quit trying to beat this thing.

In that case, I have a bug I didn't even realize I had: I have never had a fanboy at the entrance to the Forgotten Regret.  Perhaps I haven't encountered any others because they are similarly missing?  Where can I (hopefully) find another one?

   Huntress disappeared too after mating with the werewolfs and she asked me to meet her in the Whiterun.(basically same as Elisif)

After selecting the appropriate option, she appears in the Windhelm barracks

Aela:
She just tells you where to find her (It makes sense as long as we are not a Comopanions member). A future Jordis quest will also be with Aela near Whiterun (Further in the design phase what to do and how).


Also in both cases, clones of these NPCs are used, so for Elisif she is invisible until you talk to her in Wildhelm's barracks to get her back to the palace. For Aela, she stays at the companions headquarters as long as she is not with you (Original not with mod) or is your wife at any player's house.

She just tells you where to find her (It makes sense as long as we are not a Comopanions member). A future Jordis quest will also be with Aela near Whiterun (Further in the design phase what to do and how).


Also in both cases, clones of these NPCs are used, so for Elisif she is invisible until you talk to her in Wildhelm's barracks to get her back to the palace. For Aela, she stays at the companions headquarters as long as she is not with you (Original not with mod) or is your wife at any player's house.

Ehmm... I think I didn't make myself clear, by 'suggest' I mean to improve some of the text of the mod...     Wildhelm's barracks was enough for me to find her although it was supposed to be 'in the palace' XD.

I've seen people talking about using the doppelganger NPC.  When I tried it out, before, it was one of the NPC's I could not dismiss, so I could never switch over to another NPC.  I had the same problem with the talking dog; and when the ebony whore was forcibly dismissed by a Companions quest, I couldn't invite her, anymore.

 

Are these issues only I encountered?  Are these issues others have encountered but overcome?  Have some just decided to play with the doppelganger as their only companion for the game?  Idk how to interpret what I'm reading of others' experiences.  Could someone plz clarify?
