I'm having the same problem but I don't have the vanilla frameworks continued mod, were you able to find any other mods that might have caused it while you were investigating?

I am on it rn, I am very much sure its caused by mod conflict from one of my billion of other mods not LV itself. I will let you know when I got more

I booted with just LV and got the same issue. It seems to be affecting multiple mods

For me it was the "Citizen Sex rights" check if you got this one as well

I do not have that one either. The only ones i have from loverslab are this mod and mango's lewd diplomacy but when i shut of lewd diplomacy i still get the infinite blank message boards. The rest are on steam workshop. Also thank you for taking the time to look! I really appreciate it!

For me, blank events issue was caused by "Multiple Origins" mod from workshop, and when i checked id of blank event, it was cstorms.1520, that is cosmic storms DLC event. I do not understand how it works and what devs should have done to break that part of game in that way. And for "Multiple Origins", it seems to be a common issue, so there is the fix submod in comments. So, guys, try to find something in your workshop subs.

I updated the mod after having not played since a very long time and all it gives is trade no pop growth.

The growth is 100% working. Tooltips are wonky, so it can be hard to tell. I didn't think it was working at first, either but you can see if you check total output and after a few months go by your growth will skyrocket exponentially with the upgraded building. Like, 100k pops by year 30 insane growth. I had to disable the building to keep unemployment and lack of housing killing my economy.

Found major bug in event files.    The adding of traits in lv mod

 

Also the sexbot event chain is not pausing time causing a run error.  It should be forcing you the user to close it to prevent error.

I had that error as well from one of the workshop mods, check out your origins mods. I had to disable most of them and they disappeared. Stuff like Multiple Origins and so on

Good evening. Russians Russian translation I downloaded a long time ago from the Russian website of the mod version 3.12, but the site seems to have been blocked. I've moved the translation to version 4.0. everything seems to be working. but there is some English text, as I have only translated additional features in the form of government.

Second bug fix and balance patch released!

 

This is the first phase of the balance pass. Next update will look at trait balance specifically.

 

Am working on a steam release (lol), probably this week!

 

Work on TD will resume meow.

Are you using this mod? Cause the 9 building slots are from that mod not this one. If you do and still don't have 9 slots then make sure that mod is below LV in your load order, as it's possible Lithia did what they said they might do and removed the accidental dependency LV had for that mod in the new update, but however they did it is resetting the building slots to their vanilla values if LV overwrites the building slot mod. Or at least, that's what I'm guessing the problem is if you do have the building slot mod, not actually sure what the problem is though as I've been putting off playing with LV until it's properly updated and balanced for 4.0 nor play with any building slot altering mods.

Ran into infinite blank events too so I did some brute-force testing cause my modlist is small (and I want my kinky 4seX game!). In my case it's More Events Mod alone that seems to cause it, and the error log is showing events for MEM having errors (e.d.e.n protocol, surveyor probe, etc). Log attached for debugging purposes to hopefully be able to fix this. The other mods which are confirmed working are NSC3, Planetary Diversity+sub-mods(minus exotic worlds and more arcologies which have not been updated), real space + new arcologies, and UI overhaul dynamic.

Can confirm, virtuality is much less broken now, many thanks.  Quick question though, one of the milking tradition perks still says it's adding jobs per pop.  Is that accurate or have the tool tips not just been updated?

 

Two other observations.  Let me preface this by saying I am running the BPV mods.  Terraforming an inhabited planet into a tentacle world results in some wonkiness.  All buildings (including the capital) get wiped and the district options for lack of a better word get confused.  If you sit on the planet screen and let some time pass you can see them refresh/change a couple of times before settling down and the capital build eventually comes back.  Not sure how to better describe it.  This isn't specific to the last update though, I saw the same thing happen on an earlier 4.0 playthrough.  It is specific to terraforming though.  Planets that started as tentacle worlds are fine.

 

My other observation is district upkeep on the shattered pleasure ringworld, again playing as machine, or I guess more accurately Sexbot upkeep.  Sexbot's energy upkeep is 6x the energy upkeep of Experimenters which seems high in principle.  It's not a big deal on tentacle world starts since you have Stimulator drones from the Friction Tunnel districts to meet your energy needs.  Pleasure Ringworld however has no comparable district or other access to those jobs.  Since you also don't have access to vanilla energy districts or their buildings, that makes for a pretty rough start energy wise.  I don't know that's necessarily a bad thing, but the upkeep just seems a bit off to me compared to other LV jobs.

After repeated testing, I can confirm that this update has caused the Knights Templar's jurisdiction in the Origin Space Station of the Poisoned Holy Knights to disappear, and it is no longer possible to construct.

Anyone have any ideas on how to play Wilderness lewdly? It's something I want to try but first time I tried it the early game was very normal and I don't think there's a way I can start with the lewd production policies. Also unsure how to do energy credits with sex jobs. Usually I like playing the tentacle planet origin and dumping a ton of sex jobs output bonuses into the starting species, but I can't do that with Wilderness since they're both origins.

Maybe once the 4.0 balancing and bug fixes are done we could get something like a lewd alternative to the wilderness origin where biomass gets replaced with cum, we can start with a focus on sex jobs, and make it benefit more from pop growth somehow.

Maybe a tentacle themed wilderness variant that lets us sacrifice pops towards upgrading a monthly cum (biomass) production modifier on individual tentacle worlds. Like a Synaptic Lathe but for cum (biomass). You could take all those extra pops you're breeding or those useless, fuckable xenos you capture and let the tentacle planet drag them down into the warm, squirmy mantle, never to be seen again... but they'll be pumping out loads of cum for you to use every month~
