That would be an option, I personally am not into tentacles though. But I also don't have a comprehensive idea myself yet.
Reiami Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 Just reporting this as of 5/9/2025 Update 4.0 this mod no longer functions as expected and will crash the game. Hopefully the creator will get to a patch or fix soon as at the moment it seems as there will be no way to work around unless you downgrade to a lower version of the game which i do not know how to do.
js399052 Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 If you have the game on steam, right click on it and go to properties. There is a betas tab, click on 'none' and and list of versions back to 2.1.3 will appear. Simply select the one you want and steam will automatically change to that version. Â Â

I'm getting crashes- not repeatable, but still- on just base game and DLC content, no mods at all. So at this point? Any modder that can get anything to work with this broken mess is superhuman in my eyes. This is as bad as 2.2. Maybe worse. 1

That gave me a tentacle world, but when playing, all planets around my starting system are desert ones, with only 25% habitability. Is this intended, or am I just unlucky?

You got Tentacle World preference, that is the major drawback of starting with an OP world. I am not certain what level of habitability this preferance has for other worlds but I suspect they are just as bad for continental worlds.

A few non-CTD issues I've found while trying to patch up LV for 4.x myself that might be worth you adding into your own patch is: lv_policies.txt: line 355 and 338: "any_owned_pop" to be changed to "any_owned_pop_group" lv_ascension_perks.txt: line 24: change to any_owned_pop_group scripted_triggers.txt: a few "pop_has_trait" to replace as "pop_group_has_trait" (the "is_pop_category" seem okay by considering it being used in base files) That seems to be most of the common folder stuff sorted, so should main be changing loads of pop_ to pop_group_ in the event files 1

yuriski Posted May 14, 2025 Posted May 14, 2025 Honestly, it's kinda funny (and weird) that you can pick "LV Tentacle" as a race, yet when you find tentacle lifeforms on a planet, they are treated like it's something completely different.

Â You have to activate mods in the launcher, by editing the mod playlist and adding the new mod to it. Â But pretty sure this mod is not updated and working on the current version, yet. 3

To install it correctly you should have both a Lustful Void folder and a Lustful Void.mod file inside the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod folder. Then in the Stellaris Launcher go to the Playsets tab and click the "Add More Mods" button in the top right and you should see Lustful Void there to enable. The mod doesn't work for the current version of the game yet though, you'll need to rollback to 3.14 or it'll just crash on startup. Â 1

It's rough out here for scifi horny mods at the moment, Rapesector hasn't been updated in a while either and whenever I try to get mods working for RimJobWorld I get all kinds of conflicts and errors.

It wasn't an official announcement, but dev said she thinks she'll have the patch out in the next few days, and if nonthing else the 4.x update of this mod is being actively worked on 8

If you're running the latest version of Stellaris, the update was a major one. It'll take some time for Lustful Void to update to work with version 4.x 5
