I suppose I should have been more specific as well. Did you also, in addition to the traits, choose one of the monogender options here?

i'm having the reverse issue. I am not monogendering my humans or choosing gendered traits but I've noticed that my humans are only using the female portraits

Have you had any thoughts of adding additional slavery types? Such as in the additional slavery types mod.

Such as slave-spouse, breeding slaves, maid-slaves what have you?

Another idea is a version of the clone vats.

How about possibly some more civics? Maybe some sex jobs that don't concentrate on trade?

TO ANYONE who wants to know an incompatible mod for LV, it's Planetary Diversity. For whatever reason that mod makes the game lag like a motherfucker at the end of every month and on the 9th day of every month (24 long stutters every year). It starts around year 2280.

Something I have noticed since the last patch is that I only get one single portrait for my species.  So are your humans only using the female portraits or are they all using the same portrait that happens to be female?

The other issues I'm having is that the game crashes in loading a save file right when it starts loading the map, I'm not sure that is LV and I'm still trying to root cause it.  (I can start a game but after an unknown point I can reload a save)

I stopped using Planetary Diversity, its a cool idea, but its huge and doesn't really add much to the game except lag.

Did you use one of the Mango's origins? The modder forgot a line of code over there and made all of the species clones.

One suggestion I would make is change the S and M origin to remove the sadistic and masochistic traits or make them cheaper.

Or simply make dominant and submissive traits the requirements.

Unless I'm missing something it seems like Cow Clinic isn't buildable even with Gene Tailoring researched.

correct, this is definitely a bug. It is not a policy, and the finisher effect for the tradition tree is not mentioned anywhere in the mod files. In effect, it does nothing, even though the loc says otherwise.

Hello, could someone please help me figure out what’s causing the mid-game crash? I’m starting to think it might be related to this mod or maybe gigastructures mod

I'm not sure if this is the Lustful Void mod or Citizen's Sex Rights or Tempting Tides, but something disables all military service aside from "Exempt" (and trench wives from sex rights, though that still seems to do nothing) for all slave species with a certain number of lv traits because they are "too sexy for that". So no dommy mommy soldier slaves for me. Does anyone know which mod adds that seemingly random restriction, and how to turn it off?

Edit: Figured it out, it's Citizen's Sex Rights. Fixed it by going into common/species rights/military_service_rights and deleting the "too sexy" restriction block in there.

Is there any documentation of this mod available online? In the current state, do you just have to try and use the mod yourself?

As far as I'm aware: Basically, this thread.

Crashes when I click on a planet

I am also having this issue, I have tried disabling everything but the base mod and the two recommended mods (UI Overhaul and More Building Slots for Zones) to no avail. My game seems to run fine, until I click on any planet, then my game crashes to the desktop.

For the record guys, that's a bug in the current patch (4.0.22)

It will crash like that even in vanilla with no mods.

To quote the dev pdx_eladrin:

[We've found a bug in the Toast Manager which we believe occurs if you either exit a game back to the main menu after being in a game, or load a second game during the same session.

Out of curiosity, did the planet crash happen during the first play session you had after starting Stellaris?

If it's the bug we found, then there are two workarounds:

1. Start Stellaris, load your game, and play. Exit Stellaris and restart if you need to reload or start a new game. (Unfortunately MP resync does trigger this as it's a "reload".)

2. Turning off all toasts should also prevent it, but that's very disruptive and we're probably going to have a fix for this next week.]

Fast edit: also just in case your mods didn't update properly in the steam workshop (it gets screwy sometimes) and you use UI overhaul dynamic, unsubscribe and resubscribe to force an update. The old version of the mod will crash your game.

Paradox seems to have removed the @ap_technological_ascendancy_rare_tech variable, so every tech that uses it now can't be drawn if you have Tech Ascendancy.

I'm not sure what the "Toast Manager" is. If it's a mod manager, then I just use the base launcher on steam.
The mods I'm using are only LV and it's optional mods, UI Overhaul, More Flags, More Buildable Zones, and the full set of Real Space mods.

I have tried method one of the two workarounds you offered, and am finding no success.
As for if this happened on my "first play session", I have two other save files in Stellaris currently (I only started playing it a week ago), one save file is vanilla, and the other is only using the Real Space mods.
With the current modlist (the one including LV), I loaded into a new save file, and it crashed when I clicked on a planet. The only current "save file" I have right now for this modlist is a quicksave I made just before clicking on the planet (and soon after crashing) on one of my attempts.

I apologize if that was confusing, I'm new to both Stellaris, modding Stellaris, and Loverslab as a whole, so I'm quite inexperienced with troubleshooting this sort of thing.

Also, I just tested it and can confirm that my modlist with only Real Space mods (which previously worked with no issues) is also crashing when I click on planets.

I have confirmed that it is the UI Overhaul mod that is causing my crashes. Any modlist without that mod in it works seemingly fine, with no crashes. When UI Overhaul is enabled, the game crashes upon clicking on planets.

Yup. Still works with UI Overhaul, just make sure to unsub/resub in order to force push the update. You can blame Steam for that one.
