Anyway to activate mods without using the launcher? I can't stand with that anymore.

The game's launcher can do the same.

I personally use Irony Mod Manager, just because it makes things cleaner.  Third-party launchers also allow me to avoid updating anything on Steam (including Workshop files), thus letting me keep a mod list static for a playthrough.  And the Conflict Solver is useful for telling you what's overwriting what, and how Stellaris is resolving it.  Although it takes some practice to understand why it presents certain things the way it does.

Thank you👍🏻

What “game's launcher”, paradox launcher? That's what I'm talking about. Thank you anyway.

It wasn't apparent to me which launcher you meant. There was a 50/50 chance you meant the Irony Mod Manager. That one can also launch your game.

It blows my mind that people actually use the default Paradox Launcher.  Irony Mod Manager has been far better for many years.

Mind you, I don't know why people use Vortex either when MO2 exists, so maybe I'm just out of touch.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the mod doesn't work for me every time (the past 4 times) I've loaded the game with the mod enabled it just doesn't work. It's like I've never installed the mod or anything. I've put the mod in the mod folder of Stellaris and booted up the game; nothing ever happens. I've included some screenshots that I hope will help explain the situation on my end with the mod. As you can see, the "lusty" traits aren't showing up. I usually find the trait halfway down the traits page, and the origins are showing either. Please Help! Thanks!

Trying the Tentacle Symbiosis start and a bit confused about managing the planet.

Can build a Milker Zone district specialization for the city district even though the planet has a Milking Pools resource district that also has a Milker Zone specialization?

Friction Tunnel Network district and Tentacle Breeding district both have Lithia specialization?

Not gone too deep in yet, but no Energy Credit related buildings.  May be related to the Friction Tunnel Network district specialization being odd.

Is there a rule of thumb for what things that effect researchers also effect sexologists?

For instance Research Supply Depot seems to apply, but Data-Driven Theorem Facility does not seem to.

All sources of upkeep and %/flat output should probably work coming both from the individual types and from all researcher modifiers. Workforce doesn't work, unless it's specifically from this mod. I'm reporting this as a bug on discord we will see if it is intentional.

Does anyone know where the mod "LV things that overwrite the base game files GO here" went? Because When I start a new game I get all the LV stuff but a friend does unless they customize the race (partly they don't have all the DLC)

did you remove the cheat trait (that gives -99 trait points)? not seeing it on my trait tab
I understand why, just wanted to ask

It's now a civic that also gives 99 picks and that you can instantly reform out of for free at game start.

bugs found:

  1. Old Gem incubation building still there along with the new one, and is broken.
  2. Ring worlds having either inaccessible building slots or is just stuck showing that notification.
  3. same with tentacle worlds and Sexopluse. (..... I was dumb there is more snuggle enforcer districts then can be directly accessed and can't be seen. have to get rid of far right district to access the other 3 of the build slots. pleas add UI overall scroll weal to it.)
  4.  on pleasure ring worlds and sexopauses have city districts replaced incorrectly leading to having to construct the new district type and waiting for the city district to deconstruct itself. (but only if going on slowest, it just becomes a extra on any other speed)
  5. thrall world weirdness.
  6. tentacle (and possibly other) LV sub districts have broken text.
  7. old xeno preserve building also still there.
  8. escort job name when looking at it in economy is broken, should look into the others too.
  9. Ring worlds having either inaccessible building slots or is just stuck showing that notification.

hopefully this comes off constructive. and continue the good work.
