I followed your recommendation, played a bit and was finally ready to start a war, but found that I had no "Breed ing offensive" Casus belli. So I just claimed their capital and attacked. Started orbital bombardment but again no "Ravage" Bombing stance. There was a "Rape" something something stance, but no "Ravage" Stance. Did I do something wrong? I looked through my policies, and also only found "indiscriminate" or "selective". The species trait is working fine, I'm getting the events and planet modifiers. The civic is only working partially. 1. Yes, my species got the "Brood Parasite" Trait 2. "alien" pops are purged if "undesirable" is selected, tho I think that that's vanilla 3. Ok, so apparently the current LV build is very unfinished or something, because in \common\scripted_triggers\lv_scripted_triggers.txt # Is some form of breeder hive (submod) # ROOT = country lv_is_breeder_hive = { # Optional breeder-hive submod should overwrite this trigger always = no } } which is just what and how and why anyways once I add in the code to assign the civics brood_swarm, nymphic_hosts, and propagating_throng then the empires with those civics seem to finally get their bombardment stances and war cbs I have tested using all 3 breeding empire civics and made sure they show up, but I haven't actually waged a war yet so if anything goes wrong with that ping me again do note that nomadic breeding empires CANNOT wage breeding offensives (why? no idea, code says so) but still have ravage bombardment stance as always, file download here: lv_scripted_triggers.txt and replace \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod\Lustful Void\common\scripted_triggers\lv_scripted_triggers.txt 1

Was a bit sacred at first, since I saw the casus belli, but couldn't declare it, but after my ships were in position and I went to actually declare the war, I could suddenly use it. I could also finaly switch to Ravage, but I'm not sure if it actually works, just assume it works if I don't ping you again. Thanks a lot for the help again. Another thing I noticed was that the slave marked is always empty. I camped it for a while, but nothing. Also checked the resolutions, nothing should interfere. Any idea what could be the problem?

I had 1M+ fleet power over a world set all set to Ravage, after all armies were gone they just died, watched the species Tab, didn't even appear for one second. Capture Breeders also didn't work, claimed systems and occupied systems provided 0 pops after capitulation of the defender.

I have no idea how yours did not work, since I tested both the Ravage bombardment stance and Breeding Offensive CB on mine and it did work Edit: There is one hypothetical situation where your ravage stance might not work, is that every army reduces the amount of pops you can abduct and that you stop abducting a planet after it has reached under 200 pops So for example if you hit a planet with like 5k of army and you bring the devastation up and start killing pops or making them leave, then the armies die but you are below 200 pops then you will not abduct any pops. As for the CB not working... maybe you killed them all? To enforce the CB you actually don't even have to claim their systems or planets, claiming just gives you more pops if you win. If you did completely wipe another empire off the surface of the galaxy then I suppose the CB might not get enforced. I also looked into the code with the bombardment stances and CB and did not find any glaring mistakes. My last guess is that it requires some DLC? I have the subscription so I basically just have all the DLCs Here's the Ravage bombardment stance being used: Pops now in my empires tab: Fulfilling wargoals: Edited August 25 by MawOfSus 1

I'll just use overwhelming ground invasions for this run. Edit: Haleluja, it worked. I bought the Apocalips DLC, from which the Rading Stance originates. Got the Accencion Perk required for the Rading stance, set the Default species rights from "undesirable" to "Slaves" and then used the Ravage stance, and finally it's working! Oh right that is true, considering both use the same code to steal pops I suppose the Ravage bombardment stance is just Raiding except you don't need an Ascension perk for it The Gardevoir portraits are actually a combination of my own and Vanilla Framework Continued, since I had tried adding in my own custom portraits before and then I found out Vanilla Framework Continued exists 1

So far it's actually a quick fix to enable them on Arkships, if you go into lv_scripted_triggers.txt and change the below section: Spoiler lv_uses_standard_district = { OR = { uses_district_set = standard uses_district_set = hive_world uses_district_set = machine_world } } to Spoiler lv_uses_standard_district = { OR = { uses_district_set = standard uses_district_set = hive_world uses_district_set = machine_world uses_district_set = nomad } } and the districts will be available. I'm starting a run to test the long-term viability of this. 3
Master Don Posted August 26 Posted August 26 escorts are fully broken. saw on AI empire and it only is taking up pops, name is broken, and they do not have the building or civic for the job, or even the ethics, they are fanatic egalitarian xenophobes.
Master Don Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) invasive breeder Origen broken, trait disappeared on game start. and milking tradition perk "Cow Tend" is broken for nomads Edited August 27 by Master Don

Just did a quick test run (using console to quicken things up) and both seem to work. (as nomads to boot) For the Traits - the origin gives your founder the "seductively Adoptive Reproduction" and your other race the "Interspecies seeders" - I think in an old version you would get the "Brood Parasite" trait with the origin. Could you be thinking of that? And the Cow Tend just works for me. Maybe a mod conflict?

r5e4w3q2 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 A bit edge case, but Liquids Processor can not be rebuilt on repaired shattered ring segments if it was built before repairing. If you do the Shattered Ring start and build a Liquids Processor planetary feature before repairing the ring segment it is removed when you do so. Afterwards there is no option to rebuild it. If you do not build the Liquids Processor planetary feature before repairing the ring, the option to build the Liquids Processor is still there on the repaired ring segment. Symbiotic Tentacled Lifeform planetary feature does have the option to rebuild it after repairing the ring segment so I am guessing this is a bug/oversight on the Liquids Processor.
AquaJet Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I noticed that you can build sexopolis on the sexopolis planet you start with with the sexopolis origin, not sure what it'll do but the button is there and clickable

Previously you said it was removed at game start. Now they don't auto-add - which is it? (not trying to nitpick, but it was handled differently in the past I think) In older Versions it would add the trait in the species-creation screen, now it's added after game start. (together with a new Situation) This is my current game, playing Nomads. As you can see it was added no problem. Also I think the popups that "assimilate" other pops is gone (could be a change from a while ago, haven't played in a few years - but it got obnoxious fast, so not a bad change) - but my observation seems to suggest it happens in the background. What Civics did you choose? Maybe the problem is hidden there. And which other mods do you use? ##edit## Just noticed that the popups still happen, just not for the female version of invasive breeder? Started a new game as futa (previously futa-female) which got me the "aggressive adoptive reproduction" and now I just got my first popup telling me 100pops have been assimilated. anonanon421 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I suspect a mod conflict given you're running at least one other mod. Worked fine for me with futa and female as nomad.
plebejer Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I also had a similar problem once - I think it was something I setup at game start. I played around with giving other AI empires' species the same name and icon, resulting in them being de facto the same race with opinion bonuses. I think the problem was that some origins were duplicate? The default "peaceful unification" or something like that is one of the only origins that are allowed to be duplicate. (or at least that was the case - now sure about the current version) Or it's a mod conflict as anonanon421 said.

Dashite Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) There's a bit of an issue with the breeding-related colony Decision Declare a Planetary Fuck Fest. It seems to create a new subspecies of all pops present on the planet with the Sex Crazed trait added. It's neat but not only is it pretty unnecessary with the already hefty bonuses of the Decision, it's an enormous headache. It could be annoying for a non-popmodding empire already, but in the middle of a biological ascension playthrough where I'm going through lots of subspecies (especially as I keep teching the transformation candies) it's downright maddening. Is there a chance the Decision could be changed to not create new species or add traits? edit: and I just found out that there's a bug (been around since at least december, according to a forum thread that I found) that will cause every species modification project to change the primary/default species to whatever the project was using. So apparently all of my leaders got droned into nerve stapled milk slaves for about a month before it was reversed to the actual supposed-to-be-default species, which is funny, but, you know. Kind of disruptive to gameplay. Edited August 29 by Dashite i keep forgetting about details that provide more clarity
