I have a bandit chained up in front of the Legacy museum (with ZaZ) but I can't figure out where the pillory model should come from.

I find that mods that use ZaZ are sometimes a little unstable, especially if they haven't been updated for a long time. Not sure I can fix your problem, but I can at least help you trouble shoot. Few questions first:  1) What's the legacy museum? when I googled it, all I found was the "legacy of the dragonborn" mod. was that what you meant? 2) What version of ZaZ are you using? 7, 8, 8+, HDT 8+? 3) How did said bandit get chained up? Did you manually place the pillory with console commands or a mod like ZaZ helper, or did a mod put it there for you? Did you       defeat the bandit and put them in the pillory yourself, or did a mod put them there like a kinky decoration? What mods, in general, that utilize ZaZ are you using?

AFAIK pillories are furniture, so you would need either a plugin that places it where you want it (using the CK) or a mod that can dynamically spawn it on demand (which IIRC there should be some mod like that but I don't know which one it is). Â EDIT: ninja'd by kaldwin, but their post is more informative, so that's cool. Â And for the record, I do support that idea as well. Been thinking of doing a DD-related playthrough at some point in the not-so-distant future, but even with the Beast Race Refits mod I would still be restricted to felines only. Both plantigrade and digitigrade options use the exact same meshes, the only difference is the skeleton. If you were talking about something like Grimoa's Plantigrade Feet, i.e. human(ish) feet with claws/pawpads, then nope, there isn't such a thing.
kaldwin Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 50 minutes ago, Blaze69 said: Been thinking of doing a DD-related playthrough at some point in the not-so-distant future. Wouldn't mind having Lykaios/canine support as well.  As Far as I can tell. All DD stuff (that works with khajiits) works with lykaios, though I haven't tested it with DD for him. Not sure exactly how race compatibility stuff works, but to my understanding, lykaios use khajiits as kind of a "base" race, which is why I see khajiit helmet models on lykaios. There's enough similarities between khajiit and lakaios head meshes that blindfolds and most collars look fine, so patching beast race refits would probably be easier than making a new mod.  The problem comes from the fact that Lykaios have longer and wider snouts than khajiits. Also, their snout length can be adjusted quite a bit using the "chin forward" slider in the mouth section of the race menu. Restrictive collars clip for long snouts, but not short and medium ones, so that should be an easy fix. Gags will be kind of tricky. Unless someone manages to build them in bodyslide, gags aren't going to fit everyone's snout length preference. Best option is to model them on a character with all sliders set to neutral. Ball gags will probably work for all snout lengths as long as the ball is the right size. ring gags will look kind of funny on long and short snouts. panel gags will defiantly look the worst on long and short snouts. Pony gags are also do-able, but I can't remember if beast race refits changes them. (I don't use them)

It's actually unrelated to the RaceCompatibility mod (if that's what you meant). Races just have a field in their data where you can set which (vanilla) race they "inherit" meshes from; in this case, that field is set to "Khajiit", so Lykaios always use the same meshes as Khajiit do.  Incidentally, this also means Khajiit and Lykaios will always use the same meshes, so there will always be one race that won't have fitting DD gear. Guess if such a patch is made you would still have to decide whether to install Lykaios-fitted meshes or Khajiit-fitted ones depending on your mod setup and intentions (e.g. if you play a Lykaios she-wolf and expect her to end up locked tight, it will make more sense to go for Lykaios meshes, and so on).  The alternative would be to use Yiffy Age, of course, in which case "Lykaios" are actually vanilla Nords as far as the game code knows, so you can change the device meshes used by Nords/humans to Lykaios-compatible ones while leaving Khajiits untouched. Something which I definitely will update the YA DD patch for if/when the meshes are done. 2 minutes ago, kaldwin said: [...] patching beast race refits would probably be easier than making a new mod. Yep, that's the most feasible approach IMO. You simply can't account for all the chargen sliders, so it's better to fit it to the base/all-sliders-at-0 head and just warn people about it. (I don't use them) AFAIK Beast Race Refits hasn't been updated in a while and it's missing some devices, either because they were missing when the mod was posted or because they were added in new versions of DD ever since. I dunno, Bad Dog may be willing to go the extra mile and edit all available DD headgear meshes, but it would take quite some time and work (even using the Beast Race Refits as a base to save some time), so I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

The various Defeat tying options seem to work and some devices show up--if I chain him from the ceiling I get a chain--but the pillory and armbinder doesn't.

The ZaZ pack has gone through some updates since the last version of Defeat was released, and a lot of stuff has changed with the mod being taken up by someone else and the DD team deciding to remove it as a hard dependency and so on, so that may be why it's borked. I would look for a more up-to-date mod that can spawn a pillory (maybe that ZaZ Helper one?) and see if it works then.

I'm not familiar with sexlab defeat, (I use deviously cursed loot) but according to it's page, it hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. ZaZ 6 is still available on ZaZ 7's page. You could try installing one of them and see if it makes a difference, but I'd recommend finding a more up to date mod. Here's a few suggestions. None of these will let you capture defeated enemies, but you might be able to chain them up using one of these mods instead of using defeat's built in mechanics.  ZaZ helper is a little tedious, but let's you place and use every piece of furniture ZaZ has to offer. Puppet master gives you a lot of control over NPCs, but is older than defeat and doesn't have many ZAZ poses. Personalty, I use I'll take the display model. It's the easiest to use, it adds some furniture that you can't get anywhere else, It lets you tie up any non-hostile NPC, it lets you tie up yourself, and it lets you craft furniture at the forge to place and pick up again. Hell, half the time, I lock an NPC in something because they mover around too much and I'm tired of tracking them down ScreenShot5.bmp

Bad Dog Posted April 12, 2019 Author Posted April 12, 2019 Uploaded new files with fixes to the NPCs so they'll actually be followers. They show up in clothes but have armor in their inventory--swap something with them and they'll put it on. Â I tried out CBBE with and without digi feet and it seems to be working properly. Anyone else having trouble with them? I think it's cruft in your install. (Like something, maybe one of my mods, overwrote your beast skeleton with the digi version.)

Forgot to get back to this, sorry for the late reply.  Nope, there's no human feet option for CBBE, just the paws. The UNP version of the mod does have some placeholder textures that fit human feet meshes, but the feet UV is different between CBBE and UUNP, so those won't work.
