boredwilhelm Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Hey, this list is actually nice, I think I will work on getting that. My question is; where would you put Milk Mod, Player Succubus Quest and ERF-Succubus?

My question is; where would you put Milk Mod, Player Succubus Quest and ERF-Succubus? From my own testing, most of the sexlab mods can go in the sexlab section. As for where exactly in the list, that depends. Core mods (mods that are required for other mods to work) I tend to put closer to the top, while other mods tend to be closer to the bottom. Usually, I put them in so that Horrible Harrasement is the last sex-ish mod in the list. When I was testing it, MME was nearer the bottom. ERF and other SOS addons I've historically put either near the bottom or under the strapon mod. If it is a requirement, i'd put it under the strapon, otherwise you can put it nearer the bottom. Player Succubus Quest, assuming I found the right one, is a ESM, so I would put it at the bottom of the ESM list. Have you been having problems with these mods? 1
asebw Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 I'm currently trying to make dungeons darker without actually turning off the lights. So, you know, there are actually shadows and whatnot. Anyone know of any good mods that might be able to help this along?

Good general rule of thumb in modding is if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it. Just be glad it works ?. Optimizing is a different story, one I will not go into in this post. Long story short, ESMs go at the top of your list, pure esls go under them, and everything else stays in the same order, including esps flagged as esls.
asebw Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Luxor finally put his mods back up in a 3 part mod pack (Skyrim HD, check it out here). I've done some testing, and it's looking pretty nice. So, for those of you who are interested, here is how the list is modified. Bear in mind, i'm still testing some stuff, so if anyone has any suggestions, lemme know. Removed Mods When Luxor first started his compilation of Skyrim HD, he pulled all his old mods off the nexus. Those who are new or starting fresh haven't gotten them, but those who have been following this list for awhile should remove his old mods. Every mod I found missing in the list so far seems to be represented in Skyrim HD. The only exceptions seem to be the alternate stone and grass patches for Solitude and Windhelm. I don't know yet if those are compatible with Skyrim HD. They are currently a low priority on my list of stuff to check, but I will get to them eventually. Spoiler Textures and FX: Beehives 4k 2K Clutter Texture Packs Dusplies HD Fire and Frost Impact Decals Hand and Vendocarts 4k Hanging Moss HD Castle Volkihar HD 2K Caves and Mines UHD HD Clay Deposits HD College of Winterhold HD Dwemer Ruins HD FarmHouse HD High Hrothgar HD Imperial Forts HD Mammoth Cheese HD Fort Dawnguard HD Markath HD Nordic Ruins UHD Raven Rock HD Riften Ratway HD Ships HD Sovngarde HD 2k Snow Elf Ruins HD Solitude HD Solitude HD - Alternate stone walls Soul Cairn HD 2k Whiterun HD Whiterun HD Alternative Grass and Stonefloors Windhelm HD White Water HD Practice Dummies HD Farmhouse HD Along with Luxor's old texture mods, some of the other texture mods can also be removed in lieu of Skyrim HD. This part I am still working on. So far, Noble Skyrim and it's SMIM patch are the only ones I've taken out, since Skyrim HD basically replaces them. I will update the list as I go. Spoiler Noble Skyrim Mod HD-2K Noble Skyrim Mod HD-2K SMIM Installing Skyrim HD As far as location in the mod list goes, all three parts should go in Foundation, at the bottom of the list just before the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. This may be changed at a later date, still testing. The things to lookout for, are in Luxor's installation instructions: 1. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A MANUAL INSTALLATION. This is 8 gigs of textures and other stuff. I suspect that if you try to remove this manually, you might end up having to re-install Skyrim altogether. I can confirm that all three parts can be installed in MO2 with no issues. From the comments on the Skyrim HD page, Vortex looks like it can handle it too. I suspect the manual installation may have been an issue with the original versions of the files, but the current ones are working fine for me right now, so again, I do not recommend a manual install. 2. In the requirements, Luxor has several references to SSELODGen. For those of you not familiar with this mod, it is essentially an alternate to TexGen. It is not a hard requirement to get Skyrim HD working. Using texGen as normal will work just fine, so do not feel like you need to use SSELODGen. In Closing I don't know what happened to Aylis and if he/she will be coming back to update the list at some point. I am hopeful that Aylis will eventually return, but, I think what was started here should not be left to fall out of date. The main purpose of this post is to replace what got removed by Luxor. If you like it, use it. If you don't, then don't. Hopefully, this will be helpful for everyone, both those new to the list and old hands.

Guest Posted November 29, 2019 Posted November 29, 2019 The "A Quality Worldmap - Luminosity Compatibility Patch" has been removed but someone has reuploaded it here
yeeeetfella Posted December 1, 2019 Posted December 1, 2019 I installed everything from the list in order and my game will not launch, is there something I did wrong?

For me that is the pain due to steam/windows forcing the update through even though steam was set to not update the game. Which worked fine until windows did an update and rebooted the pc, and I came home to find that steam had updates se for what ever reason, even though it should not have done so. ?
jaeos Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 FYI you can roll back your skyrim here is the guide EDIT: just make damn sure steam is running when you do this (i personally never shut mine off and have skyrim set to never update but sometimes it does it anyway)
Santr Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Noob question about SL physics: how do I get penises to properly align with orifices in animations? Already running: - SKSE - XPMSSE - FNIS - CBPC - HDT-SMP (with aers's dlls for 1.5.97) - SOS SE - CBBE Special SE (BodySlide) What am I missing from this list?
Berserkologist Posted December 9, 2019 Posted December 9, 2019 There's a lot of really cool stuff in your guide, thanks for sharing! I'm thinking of hybridizing http://www.lotdplus.com with the recommendations in this thread. I have a feeling this is going to be a long project
Guest Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Hi, Great modlist, I found 1 issue though. You recommend using Ethereal Elven Overhaul (+ SE patch) & Bijin Skin CBBE. I found that together they cause neck seams for the female elfs. The issue is that the head textures of EEO are not compatible with the Bijin body skin. I'm new to modding, but i found an easy 'fix'. (Removing the EEO custom textures) 0. (Be sure to also follow the instructions on the Ethereal Elven Overhaul SSE patch page.) 1. Delete the texture folder in the Ethereal Elven Overhaul main (oldrim) mod. 2. Delete The "ethereal_elven_overhaul - Textures.bsa" file in the Ethereal Elven Overhaul SE patches mod. 3. (Re)install the 2 mods @Aylis Might be useful to put this in Troubleshooting/Tips or link the comment? Edit: I found other issues with EEO, it is (as mentioned in the mods description) not compatible with NPC overhauls. Some overhauled elves have mismatched body/head textures (with & without my fix). I decided to uninstall EEO, elves still are very pretty because of all the other amazing mods! For your own character you can just use the RaceMenu sculpting tool to smoothen+deflate the default chin.
veggeata Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Having trouble getting the mods to work. It doesn't seem to be an SKSE issue as the supported version matches up with my skyrim version. The order of the mods is exactly the same with some omitted. I'm unsure how to troubleshoot the issue. Just making sure I did things the correct order 1. install mods in order 2. Run DyndLOD tex 3. rar and install output 4. Run DyndLOD 5. open and rar and install output 6. Run FNIS with Skeleton and Gender Specific checked

The guide says to just copy the folder into the mods folder of your mod manager. You should probably provide more info to what's not working. (Crash, Visual Glitches, ...)

I was able to fix it by taking out SL Dialogues. I want it though and it's a bummer that it's not working. Did a quick search and someone had a problem with it before as well.

crybabylaser Posted December 13, 2019 Posted December 13, 2019 One of the better mod guides I've seen for SE or LE. Your categories are a road-map for manual load ordering.
Shiisha Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Probably somebody else asked it too, but what should I do, when i an starting DynDOLOD and getting an error that says "Installation error detected. Overwrite.esl should not be in the load order. RTFM to not make things worse."? Edit:I accidentaly downloaded an older version, i edit again, if it won't solve the problem. Edit2: No, i still have the same problem. Edit3:i found the solution, I had to delete all overwrite...file form the mods folder
Guest Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 @Santr If it's off, you're still going to have to play around with SLAL and save your changes in order for it to look more realistic. You're basically cramming together two meshes that originally were not intended to go together in the vanilla game, so there's got to be some fiddling.
Lenore Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Nice work but doesn't load for me either, glad i'm not the only one.
