@Aylis FEC is now working for AE. I'm 50/50 on this one. Sometimes it just looks cartoony, sometimes it looks great. But it's available.

Hi Aylis, will you still update the SSE list or is this the final version? I saw the last update was 2021 and I wonder if there's any mod(s) that got updated and might no longer work with something on the list?

I still haven't updated to AE because of DAR. Is it worth moving to AE? Thank you.

Looks like SSEB will stay with the last update as i simply don't have the option to have two installations of Skyrim at the same time. Right now it looks like this:

Updates is only for the mods of FO4 and Skyrim.

 

As you can see going AE was sort of a one way ticket for me and with the current prices/inflation here i can't upgrade my system for the forseeable future (i simply prefer to have some food on the table ?).

 

For the last question: i can't really answer that. I didn't buy the upgrade (aka i only got 'Skyrim AE light') but so far we have around 120 less mods than in the guide for SSE and it looks imo better.

 

The drawback is the increased demand of the game. My old Radeon 570 is on the edge and only using some tricks allows me to play the game at all.

I would go ahead and move to AE. You're going to have to eventually, the list is going to be focused on that, and an update to DAR will eventually come along.

There is still one GPU left to win. Not quite as good odds than the time I won mine but you will not have to wait another year for it to ship.

Also a version of DAR works on slightly older installs of AE, like 1.6.353 (currently running that version myself)

I am still on SE for now, but couldn't someone update only up to v1.6.353, still use this guide, and still have DAR? Then update the game further when/if DAR updates? Then you have both AE and DAR (and likely several other mods that have only updated up to v1.6.353).

Also, I think that SkyUI and Racemenu are not supposed to be ESLed (at least according to ESPFE Follower - Eslify facegen and voices's page), though I know some people do it anyway.

On a new game they should be fine, its only if you are continuing a current save that it may cause problems, same as if you esl any mod mid game.

Two notes for people who might have FPS issues, use Dyndolod with low preset, it will increase fps.

Also in ENB SSAO_SSIL lower Resolution Scale to 0.40  and Source TextureScale to 0.30 ... i see no quality loss but i went from 30-35 fps (with micro freeze) to 45-55 steady

I'm new to modding Skyrim and I find it very hard to get into even after watching youtube tutorials and reading pages and pdfs of documentations  

is there a way to just download a premade mod list with all the essential nexus and loverslab mods?

Hello, its my first post here.

I've followed this guide (great job Aylis, truly amazing) a couple of weeks maybe months ago, and most of the stuff went smooth. But it kinda bothers me that I cant get neither lip sync nor facial expressions to work in SL. I've spent some time today doing research but no progress, I even downloaded SL Ahegao hoping it will help, but no luck, I just ended with something like this:

It doesn't matter if I turn on lip sync alone, facial expressions alone, or both at same time I got no effects. Is there a quick fix, or I did something out of order? I kinda don't want to start from scratch, cause it took a while to install and configure everythig. Lipsync during dialogs seems to work just fine.

I believe I've seen all in one package for SexLab Skyrim LE, but if you want to go this way you still need to prepare some stuff, cause it's only AIO for SexLab I believe, and still LE not SE or AE.

IMO you gonna get best results if you'll go mod by mod, cause if you go multiple AIOs packages you will face conflicts between mods which you'll have to figure out on your own. My first 3 runs with modding were on my own, and for the 4th time I went step by step with this guide and I can tell you I couldnt get such great results and stability doing stuff more or less randomly.

TLDR: I suggest sticking to this guide, reading comments of author, reading installators of mods, and most importantly: patiance, if you want results it gonna take time one way or the other.

Ok standard disclaimer first. I am not the OA nor do I know them personally, I am a sometimes minion who will post to either 1. stir the shit pot. 2. explain things as to why aylis does not do x or y. 3. test some really way out there mod that was randomly found in the darkest regions of the interweb without going to pirates bay.

The original post creator @Aylis does not and will never condone her list being made into a AIO, There's issues with packing and unpacking that many gigs of files, automated sites like wabba upload all the mods to their servers and then you redownload all of the mods in order etc, and this does not give the authors the recognition they deserve. This mod list will take about 14 hours to download, on the first page you can see screenshots that show what a decent (not top of the line) computer can do with this. If you want easy @JustDontmade a wonderful post on just getting some sex going in skyrim. it's all of 10 mods at the most, does nothing for improving visuals, and can be done in less than an hour. If you wish to have skyrim rebuilt from the ground up with everything tweaked, changed and re-written with space to play custom races (i still think @Trykzmakes the best ones) and actually not have something on ez mode, then welcome, we will do our best to help with anything from opps i messed up to what do you guys think of mod xvy. responses will usually be done in a day even if to say, we can't get this to do what you are having issues with. There is a youtube channel GamersPoets that will give you short and easy to follow steps on installing mods, or even longer tutorials on installing certain mods that are usually just a pain in the ass to install. And since i am currently playing around on world of warcraft.. For the Hoard. (that would be ` player.additem f 555555555)

Just a quick question as I am running very late getting to work. Did you turn lipsync on inside lovers lab? its on the animation page.

It may have done at some point but now it does not, it downloads from nexus or here or wherever the mods are hosted.

Ye, I did; accually yesterday I was messing around a bit with versions, settings, and other stuff and I figured out I got face expressions without even toggling expressions on in SL. So I turned off all of expression mods and tried lipsync without them aaaaaand still no luck, I just recieved soulless blank stare with closed mouth. Also I might have broken something cause I believe BJ animations were working smooth before and I spotted that they are now played with closed mouth -_-. Just came back from my work and gonna try fix at least BJ animations in a moment.

I believe it was when it started, they may have realized how very quick server room runs out with 20 copies of the same mod

ok facial expressions while you are doing things and facial expressions during SL scenes are two different things, for one you have a facial mod for things like hungry, cold, seeing your enemy etc. Swapping SL versions "shouldn't" break SL in general, but if you are going down in version, I can see where version 4.5 had bug fix SHT and 4.4 had the bug SHT and now you no longer have the fix for said bug, and you were number 999 of 1000 that experienced that bug. Installing creature animations has shown to be problematic, with issues ranging from missing meshes\textures (they ain't got no boner) to facial expressions not resetting so your pc is running around with a wide open O after the horse in the stable decided to get frisky.. Or your own damn horse refuses to carry your ass until you.. pay up.. So all creature stuff was removed from the build for general use, some people don't mind the problems and keep it in, but they have generally fixed the issues in their own builds and personally i go by "if it ain't broke (to bad) don't go adding problems by updating a sketchy mod and finding more stuff that breaks". So I would go back to the last version of all the sexlab mods, and delete your scripts mod you had to create when you started the game, and try again. re-downloading and re-installing usually isn't the fix, other than making you spend 14 hours+ contemplating if modding is for you. Or at least question if you reAAAALLyyy need that 3d potato mod, or 4k gold coin replacer..
