Thank you, I'm trying out the latest spreadsheet for AE. Would the 1.6.640 version work or do I need to downgrade it to 1.6.353? I tried to look for the version requirement but can't find it.

No need to downgrade, the spreadsheet works just fine with 1.6.640.

And now it's back to not working. I feel like I'm losing my mind. How is anyone getting the NordwarUA bodyslides to work? I'm only running the VAP Female slides. It's applying the helmet, so I know the load order is fine, but it keeps defaulting back to the original meshes and textures. Do I need to manually delete the CBBE slides? This is so frustrating.

 

Edit - K, it just isn't working with Vanilla Armor Replacers. I've gone back and disabled mods until it starts working again and the conflict is ... ISC? What? I see a lot of patches between the two but haven't found anything.

 

@Aylis_Temp Can you check this? Spawn a set of Ebony Armor. I also noticed for Unplayable Faction Armors you have a bugfix for WACCF, but that isn't in the list. Did you mean to point to the LotD patch? I know you were testing that one.

Ooops forgot to add WACCF. Put it on top of the group 'Armor and Weapons'. Fixed here

 

Uploaded 'Zeroed Clothing'.

 

Chasing down a visual bug for the last 10 hours. Looks like MM doesn't like parallax and caused the problem. Will be removed

 

Found a texture pack with parallax that offers different resolutions for the textures. Now everyone can have great textures that the used PC can handle.

 

But now i'm off to bed. Almost falling asleep sitting here...

The new version of DynDOLOD works better than the old one. No idea what Sheson did (i'll never understand scripting :() but he put some magic in there. :)

 

Way less errors and it is faster now.

My old Radeon 570 is getting to its limits. But i still get playable FPS even with all the visual improvements (by using a medium texture pack (2K) and reduced trees).

 

Reworked a few of the smaller towns and villages. There is only one left but i can't find the mod i wanted to use anymore... Disregarding the missing mod i got all changes to Tamriel in. There are more options on Nexus and i decided against most of them as they either got bugs, didn't fit, or were simply overdone. Sometimes less is more. ;)

 

Moved a few mods to prevent hidden bugs.

Switched to a bigger texture pack. More options for the resolution of the installed textures, parallax, and fixing quite a few texture/mesh conflicts.

Fixed a few issues with SMIM (like getting it to use our installed textures). Even small things add up.

Starting the real work on the bodyslides. This might take some time...

@alaunus01 I guess so. The only thing that I have that I know uses it is Sexlab Tools, which won't work without it and does work in 1.6.640 with it, so I guess it's stable.

 

@Aylis_Temp Have you checked out a set of Ebony Armor? I've still got vanilla textures/meshes with it until I turn off ISC. Just wondering if someone else has the same behavior.

I'm using my own. I'm not going to sweat it, I really haven't noticed much difference in sound after taking ISC out. Literally every issue I've had with Bodyslide immediately disappears with it off.

 

Took some pictures climbing High Hrothgar. This game looks gorgeous now.

I remember posting on this about a year ago, it was complicated but I got it to work back then.

 

I'll try digging up my old posts on the subject. Hopefully nothing major changed in-between (don't think so)

Nope, i overlooked those in the spreadsheet. Just skip them.

I really think the "Patches" section needs to be added back in. Or at least have the line like for Holy Poly Head to reinstall the mod for the JK's patches. You end up being told to move patches that it hasn't installed because the auto-detect FOMOD doesn't see them because you haven't gotten that far in the list. So a patches section or a note to reinstall the JK's patches after SDA, Palaces, etc. Just my two cents.

I already found a few updates for mods. Those will be immediately integrated into the guide. The bad thing is that the spreadsheet is already outdated... Again!?

 

I'll also have to ditch 'High Poly NPC Overhaul'. Checking some NPC we got the same black face bugs we (aka me and Thorsten) reported years ago, Not a good sign for that mod. Atm the best solution seems to be BB's NPC Overhauls combined with the standard overhaul from HPH. The author slowly reworks all NPC and they work perfectly with the next mod.

 

A new mod for the skin blew me away. Race-Based Textures (RBT) works extremely well and combined with BnP - Female Skin and BnP - Male Skin it looks really good. The age groups are more spread out (instead of the three the game normally has) and older NPC now look right.

 

Sadly this doesn't seem to work well with Pandorable (you don't want to see a buggy Aela, right?).

 

But i do like the more realistic approach anyway.
