Thats why i did not see it, it was at the very last and i skipped it thinking it was mentioned in one of the sections, bruh.


I even have glasses yet i still missed it, lol

'Cause i removed the ini from the guide!

 

That ini is for DynDOLOD 2!

Looks like the old xLODGen causes problems. It creates files for LOD32 which isn't used by DynDOLOD 3 anymore and can have side-effects. Started the next run without using those files at all. Let's see what the patch and the other mods will do without them...

 

Maybe i can drop two steps of the creation.

@Aylis Please explain: CBPC is like a bad cartoon when used exclusively; it doesn't even need 3BBB bodies. If someone can show me that's not true, I will happily shut up, I'm just sayin'. that's my experience w/smp.  There is nothing like a slow walk in Vaer w/ hydrogensays...smp!

When it comes to sexlab SMP is often enough glitchy so i prefer CBPC.

Updating the instructions for DynDOLOD 3.

 

The two folders are not needed anymore:

DynDOLOD Landscape Output               LOD32 isn't used anymore

DynDOLOD AO Output                           Is now integrated in DynDOLOD 3. You can keep it, but on a new run of DynDOLOD delete it and use the integrated tool.

 

Reworking the description Done

Updating the instructions Done

 

Who would have thought that an update to a single mod would cause so much work... Now its back to the mountain textures.

Not sure if @Aylis would be interested, but since its public i dont see why not:
Baka updated Defeat, its on his patreon (again, public and free) Link

Its way more recent and stable.  Ill be using that one since its the same but more recent.

Btw. be careful with replacers for horses. Those tend to cause problems (be it textures or compatibility).

The new textures for the mountains are way more complicated than i thought. I'll have to add new snow textures as well and then dig through all overwritten textures so the right ones will be used and several additional patches seem to be required too...

 

Another thing are the changed meshes. If the textures don't match this simply won't work and i doubt that some previously added mods will work with them at all.

 

Looks like this will be one of the mods that sets a lengthy chain of changes (and required checks) in motion and i found my work for the next week(s?).

Yep, someone already posted the comment from the guys who make SKSE. And it is even worse than i feared... It will be weeks, if not months, 'til everything works again. And some mods might get lost forever as the OA arn't active anymore.

 

FO3 already got the same treatment which broke a huge number of mods. I guess FONV and FO4 will be next should they get an update too.

I very much doubt it will play nice with JK and Sepolcri.

This is a problem with any Nemesis based mod that edits these two creatures.  I had zxlice backstab and parry sse which was my culprit.  Uninstalled, re ran FNIS and Nemesis

and then tried a sexlab scene with draugr.  Problem was resolved.  You might need to look through your mods which edit these creatures.  If you uninstall them or edit them

by deleting the parts that edit the creatures, it might resolve it.  It could possibly also break the mod though.  Change and edit with caution.  I'm also not running SKYse and don't know

if it edits the draugr or falmer.

I don't think they'll do FONV since it was another studio that did the lion's share of the work on that one. Be interesting to see what they do to FO4 though down the road. Then again, I'm still banging my head on that bleeping MCM error, so they can take their time on that one. . .

I figured out, they work again in my current game with mods i am using ^^ so i am pretty happy with my game now Thanks btw for your reply :3

I'm crashing whenever I start a game, as soon as the racemenu starts to open up and before a player model loads. I'm still pretty new to Skyrim modding, so could someone explain to me what I can do to find out what's causing this? Or does anyone already happen to have an idea what could be causing a crash there?

@Aylis Btw: I know for most people out there Odin Patches its self explanatory , but i would still add the "Page: Option" thingy under it, because for some reason that patch DOES NOT check for what mods you have installed, you have to manually tick them.

(Btw, i choose: 1: MLU - 2: AOS + ISC- 3: YOT + ISC) 

Also: Capital Windhelm Expansion - EMBERS XD Patch the one we need is "Capital Windhelm - Embers XD ESP-FE Patch for 2.2.3 and later" right? Because the other EmberXD file gives a missing master alert when installed.

No matter what, does ESM files ALWAYS go up in the load order?  You mention this in fertility mode (?Don't forget to move the ESM up.) and im not sure if you mean that ESM in general go up in the list or that this one goes up.
In general the SyncPlugins tool always does it for me but now that i check it does it only for the EsmNamedLikeThis.esm normal esm plugins not in Bold and italic dont get auto sorted.

TDLR: Do i need to push up any .esm plugin when they are not in bold and italic? And in what order? (i guess this last is just in the same as they are installed)

Crash upon load most of the times boils down to one of the following things: Wrong loadorder (plugins not sorted 'correctly'), missing masters (one mod you installed is missing one ore more of it requirements), or the good old mod installs a bunch of plugins and leaves it to the user to activate the correct one.

 

Anyway, in case I haven't already suggested that to you, you might not want to start with this guide if you are new to skyrim modding. This one from @Just Don't goes through all the basic steps in much more detail. Once you have grasp on how to use the different tools you can come back here and be amazed. Unless you wait until after the anniversary edition releases ?

It's starting to seem like every AAA company is doing the route of the fast and furious movies. Lets do the same shit over and over, because people are stupid and will buy it because cars and explosions..

 

@Apollonir CTD before the splash screen is a missing master when the game is loading all of the mods. CTD at splash screen is "usually" animation count or load error. Did you follow "pretty much" everyones advice and run LOOT (other than this mod list)? Thats a big no-no on this list. But i agree with @alaunus01in that using just don'ts guide to grab a basic understanding of what you are doing along with videos from gamers poets on youtube for installing executables and dyndolod etc

Mans, it feels terrible when Beth breaks the modding community again with AE. Worse, AE doesn't seems to add anything significant like LE to SE.

 

Btw, I having problem with animation. Not game breaking but annoying nonetheless. So everytime I start game and load save, my PC get T pose for a minute then animation becomes normal again. Any idea what could cause it.

 

Feel like heavy scripting but I'm not so sure.
