However, when sex is executed through SLEN, Defeat, and ABMM, the attractiveness of npc toward PC changes to normal. Seems SL Attraction is the only one that not recognize gender correctly. It is weird that execute sex fix the problem. But I can't make my PC have sex with every npc I meet. All animations seems working fine, no problem here.
Guest Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 So... i tried to edit npc's gender preference. Editing through SL Aroused(force it to straight, gay, bi) does not fix the problem. It has no effect on attractiveness at all. But. Editing through SL diary(after marking actor) does fix the problem. It has effect on attractiveness. I could change the gender preference of every npc I meet, but that's too troublesome. I finished all the mcm setups as soon as the bound hands were released from Helgen(I am not using 'live another life'). I tested the attractiveness of Hadvar, and there was no problem at the time. This is my third new game through. First game seems worked fine. Second/third game is having problem that i mentioned above. The difference from the first game is that SL Aroused's option 'Purge dead' is turned on. Of course, there are some other differences too. So I guess the SL Aroused's option 'Purge dead' breaks the SL Attracion's functionality. Mod says that option is purging dead actors and 'unwanted actors'. But I don't know exactly what unwanted actor means. I guess i have to test it on new game again.

Like between CBBA 3BA and BHUNP which one of them compatible with the most NSFW mods and has the most amount of skimpy outfits made for them. I know that OP uses 3BBB but is there an objective reason that they use it or is it just personal choice. Thank you for your time guys.

A particular modder may make a skimpy outfit for only one format, but usually somebody else will alter it for the other format. I think it's really just a tossup. IMO, I would go with 3BBB. Plenty of skimpy outfits, and it's more technically impressive so you're getting the most out of the outfits you do decide to wear. 1

SLEN, ABMM, SL Aroused (I mentioned the 'purge dead' option), SL Attraction, etc. all worked fine. The real problem was in assigning hotkeys to target actors in SL, SL Aroused, and SL Attraction. Here is a summary of my mcm settings. (should not set like this) Hotkey for targeting SL actors is inactive. The hotkeys for targeting the actors of SL Aroused and SL Attraction are different. In this state, when trying to check the attractiveness of the NPC towards the PC, the SL stats of the NPC are not set properly, so the wrong value seems to be output. As the NPC had sex at least once, the SL stats were set properly, and the NPC's attractiveness toward the PC was then displayed correctly. For that reason, I changed the settings to: The hotkeys for targeting the actors of SL, SL Aroused, and SL Attraction were left as default or assigned the same key. In this state, the functions of SL, SL Aroused, and SL Attraction are sequentially executed when trying to check the attractiveness of NPCs toward PC. The NPC's SL stat is set correctly, then the SL Aroused setting is applied, and finally, the gender preference setting of the SL Attraction is applied correctly based on the previous settings. Therefore, in order to prevent bugs from occurring, the hotkeys for targeting the actors of SL, SL Aroused, and SL Attraction must be left at their default state, or at least all of them must be assigned the same key. Looks like this should be added to the guide. (So that no one, like me, suffers from not knowing about these things.) Spoiler By the way, thanks to this guide, I am enjoying Skyrim very new. Most would say: CBBE, 3BBB, then 3BA in order of their evolution and increasing sophistication. @skywalkson Welcome! Thanks for reporting your detective work. I think it's a confusion that could befall anyone. It's very rare that in-game hotkeys can and should be shared by multiple mods. This is not obvious - HK conflicts are usually to be avoided. Originally, iirc 3BBB was a basic 3 breast bone cbbe derivative for cbbe textures. acro748 then posted the 3BBB Amazing (3BA) body here on LL along with the (now abandoned?) 3BF body. Eventually, possibly w/ encouragement from ousnious, the whole thing got unified and moved to nexus. The principal difference between 3bbb and 3BA was the addition of an anus to 3BA.

I had beautiful couple of hours of gameplay before I experienced first CTD, which is a good result from what I've been able to understand. Also, I am looking for stability as I want to play the vanilla quests mostly and sometimes deviate to something more 'fun' (i haven't play skyrim ever - so this is first playthrough). I have couple of questions, as an inexperienced modder, I am not sure I did understand everything correctly. 1. When installing patches, do you install them as a separate mod and give it a ModName + Patch, and you let is sit below the main mod in the left pane? Or do you 'merge' with the original mod. I did the latter mostly - e.g. when installing a patch, the patch name picked up by MO2 was the same as the name of the original patch, I allowed it to 'merge' with original. When the name of the patch picked up MO2 was not the same, I allowed it to install as separate mod. 2. Has anyone got the Devious Devices to not have messed up bound hands/legs animation (e.g. devious device placed on PC but the arms are not 'bound' during idle /walk animation and the hands are invisible). For me it seems like DAR is always replacing the bound hands when walking/running. I have extensively searched this thread, as well as much of the interwebs and found people having similar issue, but no of the suggested fixes seemed to help. I have been rebuilding the FNIS and NEMESIS after each attempt I made. Has anyone made it or should I just skip DD altogether? 3. SL actor positioning - this I also searched and learned that it is difficult to align the actors vertically. For me the actors are usually humping a bit too low. I changed the player scale to 1.0 and I think it helped a tiny bit, but far from perfect alignment. 4. xLODGenx64 - I currently play with all of the output from dyndolod/xlodgen disabled, and the game works fine. I have problems generating Ambient Occlusion, I am running out of RAM very quickly during the process --> The generation starts going, the RAM is suddenly jumping to ~15GB (I have 16GB installed now). Then it starts throwing 'Out of memory' errors. I have obviously searched a lot (i expected this to be caused by some memory leakage of the xlodgen, but cannot confirm that). Stuff I can chime in on: 1 - Generally if the list has it in a separate entry you should install it as a separate mod. The only time I ever merge anything is if the list either tells me to or there's a patch added/updated and the mod author explicitly tells me to. Otherwise, it's a separate line. MO2 will automatically name your mods according to the main mod from the page where you downloaded it. For example, from the Armor section of the list, if you installed Gigadeux's Armor and then installed the Bodyslide for the armor, MO2 will default the name of the Bodyslide addon to "Gigadeux's Armor Set" (the main mod on that page). You have to click the drop-down and tell it to name it "Bodyslide CBBE" (the actual name for the addon). This has gotten me in trouble with downloading patches before. If a new version of the addon comes out, you have to remember to click the dropdown and set it as the name of the addon. If you don't, you'll overwrite the main mod with the updated addon, in which case it's not going to work. 3 - You'll have to use the hotkeys to get everything into better alignment. Fortunately, Sexlab remembers the changes you made so that the next time the animation plays it'll be in line. In some cases though, clipping can't be avoided. 4 - Make sure you're running all of your DynDOLOD mods using the 64 bit version (both 32 and 64 versions are included in the main install package). Sometimes even then you'll have issues, but if you make sure to run the cleaner batch file Aylis provides then it should help. If that's still not working, post your system specs. You can always ask for help on the DynDOLOD forums, but that place doesn't seem very new-user-friendly to me. --- Unrelated - It's not part of the list, but a lot of people use Nether's Follower Framework. It has now migrated to Loverslab following the Great Stupidity over at Nexus. I've decided to try it out again. I still nervously await the day when a mod is taken down that I absolutely can't deal without. 1

Also how can I control the camera properly during sex scenes and align the actors to avoid clipping? I'm sorry if I came out as a noob, but this is way more complicated than Wicked Whims
rjrc Posted July 6, 2021 Posted July 6, 2021 to control the camera during sex scenes you can check Free Cam in sexlab - animation settings, and then use mouse and keyboard arrows. All animation controls and hotkey to align actors are in sexlab MCM settings

Thanks for the really amazing guide, I'm brand new to modding skyrim and I learned QUITE a bit while trying to get this all set up. I was really impressed by Aylis screenshots and could not wait for my game to look that good. So far, everything is working pretty good for the most part, but I have two big questions: 1. Everything is pretty dark at night/in dungeons. I'm not really sure how to navigate the lighting mods or ENB settings to adjust this. Are there any recommendations? 2. I really don't quite get how bodyslide works? I'm interested in having some wider/stronger bodies for female characters, but I don't really know how to achieve that. Most presets seem to be pretty thin. Would anyone have any "stronger" body type presets to recommend, and instructions on how to load/use them with bodyslide? (Using all the CBBE and body types in Aylis's guide) EDIT: Also on starting the game i get the error dynDOLOD cannot read Dyndolod_worlds. EDIT3: Okay, I think I finally got it fixed. If you simply change your female body to incorporate some huge assets they will clip through those standard patterns. Bodyslide takes all those patterns and makes them fit your body (when done correctly) Which solves the clipping issue. Now morphs is where the magic happens. These allow those costumes to still fit when you fiddle around with the various racemenu body sliders. Which is a quantumleap. Because it allows you to deviate from your standard body without changing all the other NPCs (that rely on the same body) at the same time. Probably not the best explanation but I hope it gives you some idea how the sausage is made. 1

I think it includes prebuilt bodyslides for a while now. The preset you picked (and you start out when creating your character) will get applied to most NPCs too. The changes you did during character creation (by moving around those gazillion sliders) stick to your character only and thanks to morphed bodyslides will not clip. If by any chance you loathe the existing preset (especially the high weight ranges) you might want to pick a different one. Depending on what you pick you probably have to do the bodyslides yourself and that is something you might not be comfortable with yet. Yes, skyrim modding can be scary, here is a little nugget of madness: racemenu has a feature mostly nobody uses that can randomize the appearance of all the NPCs using those morphed bodyslides. MADNESS I say!! *weird cackle*

For 1. this is pretty much by design for this build, it gives a bit of realism (in a ~pre-civilization way), if you can hang in with it, you'll find that many nights (like when the moons are up) aren't really so dark and the sky can be amazing.. As to 2.: You might look at Sonja Lodbruuk Preset . To run it in BS, set the Outfit/Body to: CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing and (first) set the Preset to: samsbodypresetgaming. Run a Batch build with Build Morphs checked after making sure you have all the Groups you want to include checked (I'll leave the details of this to you and google). Once this is done (I'm told) you should probably run another Batch build and, when the list pops up, right click it, select uncheck all, and check only the five 'CBBE Amazing SMP Object -xxx' bodies, and then complete the Batch build. Finally, to build your nude body, go back to Outfit/Body: CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing and set the Preset to: samsbodypresetnude. At this point, I'd recommend adjusting anything you don't like in the Preview and then clicking Save As on the upper right. Give it a related name like samsbodypresetnude v2 and save it. Then just click Build at bottom center of the window. There are many ways to do things in BodySlide (& Outfit Studio), this is one. Give it a shot if you like.

Yea, some of the stellar views are incredible. which I do appreciate. Its not a total deal-breaker, but if there was a way to adjust it a bit I would definitely be happy. Maybe i just need to find a bedroll mod to make the wild nights pass easier. EDIT: Actually if I could just make the interiors brighter I would be happy! Especially buildings. 2. Woah, if I can tweak some of the details that looks like a pretty good base! Thank you for linking it. I appreciate the details on how to work it as well, hopefully I will be able to get it up and running. I'll have to test if it works on already made characters.
