P.S. By the way... This mod is also not available anymore: HD Birds. I tried to remove it from a save of my actual playthrough. I think it has a lot of scripts running for what it does. Obviously, I couldn't because it left a trace in my save of more than 5600 scripts that broke my save when I tried to remove them. (I know... I know... It is never a good idea to remove heavy script mods in the middle of a playthrough, but I wanted to try ?).

I have had problems with that mod (skyBirds SSE Edition), too. The scripts get a little crazy. There is quite a bit of info on the Internet about problems with it. This is all too bad as the idea is really cool. Its neat having the birds! Aylis' guide recommends turning it down a lot, which really does help. I have chosen not to use it.

 

But I wonder what happened to the mod? Is it tied to the other missing mods? Hopefully someone is fixing it.

Looks like i have to recheck every single mod... Nexus really screws up, mods vanish and i get additional work on top of everything.

 

Seems i have to do a lost mod collection post for Skyrim too.

Hey I just got to the start of the weapons section and another noobie question came to mind. Is there a mod that handles alternative weapon sheathing in the modlist? I have been at this project for multiple days now and can't remember whether or not there is one earlier in the list.

 

I am also worryingly close to going over the ESP limit, how safe is it to merge mods?

I just found out that when you type in search bar in inventory menu, hotkeys from other mods I setup in MCM still activate. Is there any way to disable hotkey activations when searching beside unset those hotkeys?

Hi, I know everyone hates noobs, But I gotta start somewhere, im a noob to modding, just downloaded skyrim SE from steam, was cheap ;D

So looked over the massive and comprehensive guide on page1, Im lost! 99% of the options I probably will come back to at a later stage,

Is there a minimal guide somewhere, my google skills keep bringing me back here,

what is the bare minimum I need to install just to get sexlab to work,

I want to play as Male PC and bang all the female NPC's

Thats it,

I can add more later obviously, But right now Im stuck just trying to get basic sexlab to work ?

Hi everyone, anyone have any tips on matching up the neck seam from this modlist to have a better transition.  I'm just  wondering what you guys have done or what mods work in combination to get it to a reasonable  difference.  I'm currently running Aylis Skin and Velvet ENB.  What are you guys suggestions?  Thanks everyone and @Aylis, thanks this is by far the most comprehensive guide and I will always give you major props!

I realized I didn't download SMIM, I forgot it. I think that's why I was having that carriage bug? Heard it's a skyrim bug with vanilla textures, but I'm pretty sure it's because I messed up my textures somehow

Worst case it would be the first mod for a 'Skyrim SE - Lost Mods' as i found an alternative french source.

@Dude4547 This mod list will make your Skyrim look far better than a ten year old game should. If you just want sex stuff, just install Sexlab and its prerequisites, Sexlab Animation Loader, whatever animations you want, and something like SLEN to initiate sex. Look up videos on Youtube for MO2 or any other tools you'll be required to use. Gamerpoets's videos are a great place to start.

I'm having issue with SL Attraction SE. My character is female, when i press hotkey to get attractiveness value, someting is wrong.

 

Pressing to females result most females likes me, pressing to males result most males doesn't like me.

 

I didn't edit SL Attraction's sexuality slider in MCM menu. So it seems that attractiveness is set opposite to gender.

 

But when i get sex with npcs through SLEN, and after use hotkey to get attractiveness value,

females who liked me turned to not interested in me at all, males who doesn't like me turned to like me.

 

I don't know how to fix this. And SL Attraction's topic seems abandoned.. so i am asking here.

 

Another question about SL Attraction.
Do attractiveness and preferences automatically apply to all npc's, or do they only apply by pressing a hotkey? If they are applied only by pressing the hotkey, does SL Attraction not work at all if the hotkey is not pressed?

@skywalkson A couple of things to check:

* What is your sexual orientation in Sexlab? I think that affects Sexlab Attraction. Also check to see what it's set to in SLEN, Sexlab Aroused, and pretty much all the Sexlab mods. I set it manually there (and also set gender manually wherever I can).

* SLEN has a weird thing with genders. Half the time the genders are wrong when I proposition people for sex. I end up just letting ABMM do it for me. There's a hotkey to toggle gender of the PC and NPCs. (It doesn't change them physically, just changes what animations SLEN tries to line up for them.) Maybe play around with that and see if that makes a difference.

* Sexlab Attraction and ABMM apply to whoever you set it to in the MCM. It can even apply to bandits, which will put a royal strain on your system. I set it up to use the option to apply it to unique NPCs, so basically everyone with a proper name (Mjoll, Carmilla, Faendral, etc.) and not those that don't (Bandit Chief, Snow Wolf, etc.).

Totally random tip for new players (and people like me that forget every once in a while):

Since modding Skyrim takes up a metric fuckton of space, particularly with the 4k-8k textures (Skyrim 2020 alone comes in at 16GB for me), it's a good idea every once in a while to delete your old saved games you're never going to go back to. You can manually delete them, but Steam will restore them from the cloud. You need to go into steam, go to the properties for Skyrim SE, and disable the Steam Cloud backup first. Then you can manually delete them. I had some going back to 2019. Cleared up about 15GB, and I still kept a lot of them.

 

The default location for saved games on your computer is:

C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves

I am not sure what is sexual orientation. So please let me know.
If that is sex diary, current sexuality is set to heterosexual. When i change to someting else it only effect how PC like npcs.
(My female PC don't like any females, changing to bisexual makes my PC like all genders.)
SL Aroused gender preference is set to 'use sexlab sexuality', so as SLEN. SLEN's 'use gender preference' is checked.
No sex since I excaped Helgen, so there is no other Sexual stats yet.

 

My problem is when i try to see how npcs like me, they don't seem to recognize my gender properly.

(My PC is female. Male npc's gender preference is female, even if I modify my height & weight preferences or default attractiveness, they don't find me attractive.
Female npc's gender preference is male, they fine me attrative very easily.)

 

Turning on the 'Use Sexlab default sexual orientation' option in the MCM menu of SL Attraction doesn't fix the problem.
Resetting the options using 'reset' in the MCM menu of SL Attraction does not fix the problem.

 

After having sex with npcs through SLEN, they finally seem to recognize my gender correctly. All gender preference setting in SL Attraction seems to be working properly.
(I'm not having wrong animation issues currently.)
+ Also having sex with npcs through SL Defeat(prostitution) result same as above. (SLEN)

 

This happens to all npcs(unique/non unique, follower/non follower).

@skywalkson I'm abit confused about your situation. Is it something about low attraction (1), or is it about SL not recognizing your PC gender correctly, i.e SL animation not playing correct gender animation  (2)

 

if it is (1), then it is normal that nobody cares about you at start. Level up, get better gear and see if attraction changes. Also SL attraction also takes into account of your PC race, remember Nord hates Dummer.

 

if it is (2), try make a new game, minimumly change SL related MCM just enough for SL to work and test again. I fear you mess up SL setting somewhere.
