You can actually extract them from the new SoD BSA file, if you have BAE or another program.

How are you figuring out which mod crashed your game?  I am having one now, once I leave the abandoned shack.  I try disabling the sisters but that didn't see to me the culprit

since it is leaving the abandoned shack for the DB its going to be a world space mesh, start with foliage mods and shut them off at say 10 at a time until you do not get a ctd. once you have a non ctd (you turn the ones you turned off back on) then your problem is now limited to 10 mods. and you turn on 2 or 3 at a time. once you have it now you are down to 2 or 3 that cause a ctd, shut them off one at a time, should take you about an hour if you're quick enough (at least that's how i do it)

still getting a CTD on dreamworld. so i'll just give up for now, not sure what else i can do to fix it, have all the dd patches, replaced the marble skins, so /shrug, its a dead mod for me until i decide to get back into trying to make it work, you said it was the shackles and even replacing those with exact copies from zaz didn't work. so i'm at a complete loss as to what else i could even try to get it to work correctly.

Do NOT get the update for 'Lightweight Water Overhaul'! Version 2.0 breaks the surface of water...

Odd I did that (disabled 10) and then re-enabled a few at a time and now I have them all with no issue :(

Odd where was your water like that, so far mine is ok, but I started with 2.0

Hippius has somewhat the same issue, but couldn't even get into the game, nuked the load order and is now not having any issues with the same mods that just randomly started crashing.. all i can say.. Gremlins

Wasn't it. Using the older version didn't help.

 

Standard fixes don't help too and RWT is even worse in that regard…

But now to a few things that did work:

 

Updating Status to 'Release 1.2.9'.

@Adviser69's recommendation works great. Thanks for that. ?

 

 

REMOVED mods:

Killable Children                                                - Screwed around with way too many other mods. (Done)

SexLab Random Sex SE                                     - Alternative works fine, we switch an ESP for a Semi-ESL and get rid of 'a few' scripts too. (Done)

 

 

Added mods:

Anna's Proudspire Manor                                          - Great improvement (Area Expansions). (Done)

Arousal Based MatchMaker                                       - Replaces 'SexLab Random Sex SE' (LL). (Done)

Cathedral Snow (SSE or VR)                                       - Fixes the rocks (Area). (Done)

Dandelions - Realistic Dandelion Seeds - 4K-2k-1K  - Now i know what the floating white fluff is supposed to be (Textures). (Done)

Female Mannequins SSE                                         - Finally one that is not affected by arousal (Override). (Done)

NPC Body Scale Randomizer                                     - Works great after tuning it in the MCM(Override). (Done)

Player Blink Fix                                                           - One small thing i really missed (SKSE). (Done)

Sexlab Horrible Harassment Expansion SE                - Skyrim is a dangerous place (LL). (Done)

Skyland Watercolor                                                   - Very nice textures (Textures). (Done)

every single one of them has the same black head. i'll double check the mod and read i probably missed something

Thats most of time that some of the files for the head have been overwritten by another mod. Try extracting the two files of the 'facegendata' in meshes and make those a separate mod.

 

Btw. what did you mean with dreamworld? Sanguines place from SD+?

Loving the help and how its always being updated. I had a bit too much fun following the "Your scientists worried  too much about whether or not they could and didn't stop to think whether or not they should" mentality and played around with skyfem, making all NPCs female, it worked until i decided to join the companions and it seems to have broken female werewolves. So i uninstalled everything and now im going back to having males in skyrim. This is great to help me set back up, and even find a few new things to add that you've added to the list.

One quick note, you replaced RLO with Luminosity, but dawn of skyrim - Riften requires RLO to work. So you might want to mention that. I'm still in the middle of installing a couple other things then i'll have to Dyndolod which hopefully won't take long, but all i'm planning on doing is having luminosity overwrite RLO and see if that works.

 

Edit: Dawn of Skyrim - Riften requires Relighting Skyrim SSE, not RLO. Still might want to make a note of it.

yes ma'am dreamworld in SD+ his little play plane. i will double check my load order but i have it where the old mannequin mod was

i did try an extract of the bsa, (i overwrote the skin with another skin to check something, i got blue bodies, no heads at that point, reinstalled the orginial bsa files, MO doesn't say something is overwriting it but who knows. i did notice the mod has zero hand references in the files, just body and head, shouldn't make a difference but eh.

I don't think MO2 notices it when a file in a BSA gets overwritten (which is always the case when a loose file is there). Could also be the textures. Sister Senna got facetattoos when the textures are missing, so it could be a similar Problem.

 

SD+ was working here (i know thats not very helpful ?). I had it just above Dibella's Sisterhood. I'll retest and add it in later (bugfixing comes first).

 

 

Regarding the bug with the water: no solution (yet!). It seems that this spot got the wrong texture but it is not the textures per se (running without the big texture packs atm). There's nothing there which would explain why this spot is different. Seems like getting rid of this bug will take a while longer…

 

Before i go completely nuts and it is not just a cache issue.

But i've finally got rid of an anomality which was bugging me for almost a month now. €: And another one. Now the bug with the water is the last big one i know of.

Updated post #513 with the fix and the two mods i've been testing for some time now:

NPC Body Scale Randomizer. (Done)

Cathedral Snow (SSE or VR). (Done)

Dandelions - Realistic Dandelion Seeds - 4K-2k-1K. (Done)

 

Added an entry for 'Ancient Falmer a snow elf race SOS plugin' to 'Mods worth mentioning' and 'Bugs'.

Bit of a newb question, one I've been getting mixed information on. Is it better to mode original skyrim or the SE version?

I've written a very long list for SE... Make a guess what i prefer. ?

 

On the serious side. It is up to you:

LE when you want more mods.

SE when you want a game that doesn't crash (as long as you don't make a mistake or got a broken mod).

 

I got Skyrim since day one and i definitely would not go back to Oldrim. Even if i miss a few mods from there… ?

   Yeah, the crashing part is something that has not been mentioned in the stuff I've read so far. I've actually got both (more recent additions), but I've only used oldrim so far to play the Enderal mod. Curious to see what in more details what mods you have setup thus far.

alot of LE issues with crashing was memory lock. if you want to know more there are threads on stackoverflow that will help you understand the math(if you need help). (LE is 32bit SE is 64 bit) so the memory lock is gone in the second game.

Yeah, I've had enough of those types of problems from back in the windows XP days. I'm just as happy to use Skyrim SE.

Updating the file 'Noble Wood'.

 

Now there should be no differences in quality anymore and fixed a typo which made parts non-active.
