So the program still runs through the whole process and then you only copy of the textures folder or is there an option for it to only generate the texture folder?

DynDOLOD got two steps:

1. Creating textures for the LOD (~20 mins)

2. Creating the LOD and checking for changes through mods (~35 mins)

 

With the changes you only have to redo the first step as only some textures changed.

Updating Status to 'Release 1.2.8'.

Just found out that i got DD for Skyrim SE completely wrong. In FO4 enemies can actively use the devices on you, here it is a framework which can be used by other mods. An important difference. So while i absolutely hate the mod in FO4, i'm totally fine with a framework that works in combination with other mods.

Had a question on DD as I loved using it in Fallout 4. How do I tell which bodyslide I'm suppose to use within the bodyslide program. They come up as the same and not sure which is the right one.

then after running bodyslide I know i'm suppose to enable the hotfix.

it looks like it is running 2 versions of the same files.. try it without the dll turned on.

The DLL is the updated script file for skse

I can't tell which one to use as i didn't install them. I'm still going with the one i linked to in 'PC'.

I seem to remember looking at that too, that issue is a pain, not sure if I ever bothered to seek a fix for it, don't recall if the sources were there.  I'd avoid it at all costs anyways, just to be safe.

doesn't bodyslide pull the available "items" from the DLL? or how does it find outfits when it's ran? however it is finding them, esl, ddl, esp, somehow your bodyslide is finding the same outfit twice. when i ran it with everything turned on, mine only found one set of DD items except for a few that were hdt.

Yes. It's in bsa archives, so if you want to keep using the CBBE bodyslide files that Yinkle made, then do so. There is no conflict with it.

i ran into a CTD as soon as i started to enter the last room in broken tower, where the new and teenage fjotra is. i'll try it again and see if i keep getting a ctd there or if it was just script lag on my part

Just out of curiosity, did you get rid of any loose files from the previous attempt? Look in the facegen folders of the meshes and textures and see if there are files named 0001E82C. I'm asking because I JUST finished The Heart of Dibella quest with absolutely no CTDs, and all the updated facegen files are working great. They're just packed in BSAs, so any loose file variations have to be deleted if they don't belong to another mod.

i actually didn't do that. i will check the mods folder and see if any show up, but i'm using MO2 and uninstalled the other version and installed this one. i'm wondering if i may have put something in the data folder. i know more than likely i have missing mesh or facegen and i just re-ran bodyslide for everything except vanilla outfits, so i'm hoping its just a missing clothing piece and not a major issue.

EDIT: in doing a folder search for 0001e82c the only refernces that popped up were under RS children. 2 entries one is a .nif, the other is a .dds(skin?) file, other than that, nothing in my mods.i'll go into rs children in xedit and delete her. 

Edit 2: nope it still has a CTD going in. so if you didn't have an issue, and i am. it's a mod i have you don't, so into find the bug mode ?

Something else i noticed was both files have the same name as ones i had previously. i'm going to delete the downloads that have dibella in them and redownload the files.

THANK YOU I was starting to seriously consider nuking the entire sloot section and starting over. what 132 version are you talking about?

Thats an older merged version of 'Sisterhood of Dibella' which sadly got removed.

 

 

@Adviser69

Would it be OK to temporarily upload the old 1.3.2 here? At least until we have a solution for the problem...

interesting. the merged overwrites some outfits that are in a mod thats not really in the world. you can go get them, either thru the console, additem menu, or the store for sunjeoung but um...

I'm going to try something. @Adviser69 you said the new files are bsa? i'm going to go extracting and see if i merge the new files into the old files (i honestly don't knoww if it will work) i mean it should right? take the one that something is working, mate the new facegen data etc back onto it...) hell i dunno.. lets see what happens. ?

Edit: it's smarter than i am apparently, or i went the wrong direction in merging, but extracting the 2 bsa and mashing (all 3 files) together into one folder didn't work. still getting a ctd, i put the bsa extracted files into the merged file. same thing with the sisters bsa. merged the scripts and the SEQ file and still a ctd

EDIT2: UGH it progressed now. but now as soon as i walk into marcarth i have a frozen in place PC that can cast spells on herself, cannot cast spells at anyone else and can't move from the spot. not this mod i don't think but i'll load an earier save and FT to markarth rather than running.

I did EVERYTHING in the conversion process right, I'm running the EXACT SAME mod conversion, and I'm getting no CTDs AT ALL. What the hell is so different about my system that I don't crash out?

Also, the 132 version wasn't my conversion, it was Roggvir's.

...oh shit. Just a question here, but how many users still having CTDs are using SD+ at the same time? Because SD+ has that exact same corrupted statue texture that SoD did.

 

Also, on an earlier comment, you need to delete those nif/dds files. Those facegen files belong to Fjotra, and will cause a CTD because she isn't a child any more. Though I guess you already did, if you extracted the BSAs. Still, something to remember in the future.
