I only checked 'Defeat' as it already did what i expected it to do and 'Death Alternative' seems to do something similar.

 

Testing atm:

If those work out we can actually have an impact on Tamriel.

i may be wrong, (and you have a 75% chance i am :P) it sounds like 2 scripts are fighting and causing the ctd.

to bad i can't populate with my own guards. i might want to be high king. according to the main quest i am the badass who can kill dragons while the rest of the country just pisses them off..?

Yeah it’s very possible both defeat and DA tried to activate at the same time and the engine was like nope. I removed DA for now.  Suppose I could’ve just disabled it in MCM but I was only really 45 minutes in. So no big loss. Still have to figure out a couple issues yet with TKAA giving me a black face for a insequential npc child called Skarri even though nothing conflicts with that record or texture wise. Finally make sure Path of Revenant doesn’t have this CTD south of dawnstar I've seen reported. Then I can officially start my Thalmor Justicar/Agent build.

I need a wee bit of help,  I installed everything using MO2 typically I use NMM but you suggested MO2.  I managed to get rid of all errors and conflicts easy enough.  But the issue I am running into no matter which method I use to install FNIS  i only get T-pose.. I did add it as an executable in MO2 and it runs with no issues... changing the overwrites folder to a mod does not change the outcome still get T-pose.  Any ideas where to start on solving the issue

Skarri or Svari? i can find one "svari" but i can't find Skarri, Svari is adoptable if both addavar and greta are both killed. RS children would mess with her texture, but thats a matter of finding what else is playing with faces and moving things around even just one mod to see what changes. kinda like diversity and cloaks, cloaks showed zero face gen data, but when it was below diversity you got half the town with blackface, switch just those 2 and then everybody is pretty. whatever mod you are using to change children in general, move it below everything else in the npc order. if that doesn't fix it, keep going until its fixed and everyone is purty again.

No, i don't think your stupid, but i gotta cover the steps.

once you run FNIS, you should have the 2-3 folders in overwrite, make them it's own mod (pretty sure you said you did this.) and i'm sure you clicked the box to enable it? and did you install it twice? once as a mod, second time as a executable under the blue and green gears? and does the path of the executable go to the generate finis for users exe and not the generate fnis for modders exe (icon for modders is blue, users is red) thats the path to mine, so it should be similar past the skyrim semods folder

i typed all this out and forgot one thing, how many fnis mods are installed? Minus pcea and sexy move you "should" have those 3 installed(if you don't want creature animations you don't use them, but you might want to later, along with the spells). the 4th mod you will make on your own. (i'm lazy when it comes to finding the right mod to put a skse thread back into so i just stick the skse and fnis together into a single mod.

I guess I have it installed 3 times???  1 manual into sse data folder,  2 as a mod in MO2,  3 via the gears..  the path I use goes to the sse install not the MO2 install currently,  I have done it both ways with the same results... If I right click on the exe under the data tab and add as an executable,  upon activating the executable there is the lock popup for a second then it goes away as if it ran and had been completed,  If I try to use the FNIS option under the jigsaw looking icon I get errors.. I have attached pictures of MO2 as well as the errors the jigsaw optin throws out.

Hello,

 

Wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much! However, when I  try to download the Particle Patch ALL-IN-ONE Installation I am asked to enter a login and a password. Is there an alternate place to get this file?

 

Also even following the step of installing dynDOLOD which specify to launch the game with the vanilla launcher, wait for the first autosave (after the carriage) and after using skse launcher, I am still getting a fatal error about opening the registry key and inexistent ini file.

 

Postscriptum: If you need the particle patch or any enb file for Skyrim SE, I have managed to get my files through the internet archive https://archive.org/

Yeah it's Skarri. There is no other conflicting records and what npc mods like Men of Winter, Bijin, and Ordinary women don't even touch child actors. Only mod that touches males overall is Tempered Skin and not even sure if that affects children.

you should delete the fnis in the data folder. looks like you have 2 fnis outputs active at the same time? delete one of them. or both. the FNIS under the jigsaw i have never used. when you put the correct path under the gears icon you should have the drop down menu.

if you can't make yours do this, you have probably have a bad path in the gears section

the 3 dots on the right at BINARY, click it, navigate to the skyrim se mods folder>tools>Fnis for users>generate Fnis for users and the red exe, which looking at your screenshot you have already added at the top. 

And what warning are you getting in MO2 on the right?

i clicked on the DL and immediately got the download button. the rest i had the same issues, might look back a few pages and see if i asked about the same thing. oh and replace the sunsprite model. i asked about that one in the screenshots thread. @Kythanais the one that got mine working correctly i believe

I do use the cloaks mod. It's the damnedest thing. Only other black face I've encountered has been that dead Vigilant outside Dawnstar for the Vigilant mod.

I tried that patch and in 'NOT recommended mods' there's a screenshot showing errors even with it installed. I might give it aother run later on as, with the exception of the lod, it looked better than the one we got now. I'm not sure but i think i was running 'The People of Skyrim' at that time and that mod got a few issues...

There should be no login requirement. I just tested it and it worked without an account...

Please check if there's a 'Skyrim.ini' and 'SkyrimPrefs.ini' in '...\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition'. If those are missing something went wrong.

Sounds to me as if you use the FNIS which doesn't know about the VFS mapping (btw. it should only be installed in MO2). Check the path in MO2 (aka 'binary') which should look similar to this one: '...\MO2\Mods\Fores New Idles in Skyrim SE - FNIS SE\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe'.

Yeah I remember that messed up my game pretty bad last year.

I'm currently using "The People of Skyrim 2" (TPOS2), the "partial" version, and am absurdly happy with it, and with the developers patches and regular improvements.

Thank you for all of your help...... After removing and reinstalling FNIS 5 more times I actually was paying attention to FNIS output and I had 1 warning/error I ended installing an Oldrim animation pack by mistake and it caused T-pose untill i replaced it

Hi, thank you for your replies. Yup, enddev is back online for me too! Which is great!

 

My 2 ini files (skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini) are both in my Games/Skyrim Special Edition folder yet the DynDOLODx64 executable keeps telling me that it could not open registry key \SOFTWARE\Bethesda\Softworks\Skyrim\

 

It says that happen after Steam updates and that I should run the game's launcher to restore the registry settings, which I did a few times already.

 

However, the software asks me to verify that my game is starting in the desired game mode which is TES5.

 

Anyway, I am almost mid-run of installing all the mods and stuff. Maybe I miss a detail somewhere.

incorrect. you are not wanting to start it as TESV, unless you are wanting to play skyrim LE not SSE. in the executables (the little blue and green gears) on your generator and dytndolod set up you need to add -sse to the arguments line.

2. run the standard skyrim launcher from MO2 so it will pull the standard .ini files.

4. Verify which skyrim sse you do have by right clicking the skyrim.exe and inder properties find the build number. this number governs wwhat you get, don't be an idiot and think "i downloaded that last week it will be fine" and if you have multiple build numbers in a page. make sure you get the right one for your build. i HAD the wrong jcontainers thinking it was current so SKSE64 flagged it as incompatible.

5. read the directions. Don't be a redneck and think you've done it before its ok.

Alright @jaeos you were 100% right. I missed that SSE detail too. Thank for directing me to your old message. I realized my error after I wrote my last message and read TESV... Next one is on me!
